Great facility if you don’t have kids or if your kids are older. For younger kids, there’s only childcare and the outdoor playground (which they can enjoy at any park). If your kid is 5 you can enroll them in sports, but there is nothing they can do freely without being tied to a schedule. There is an indoor playground which I thought would be great summer days, but they don’t let kids younger than 6 use it, even if you are there with them. And I don’t know what’s going on, but every time I leave my baby in childcare they call me after two minutes because the baby is crying. I got so many interruptions that I thought I might as well workout at home because I get the same amount of interruptions and I don’t need to drive there with all the kids.

Soccer Program: If you’re looking for a soccer program for a beginning player to learn soccer and have fun of course. This isn’t the place. They do not have their act together. They do not have knowledgeable instructors. They do not teach the basics of soccer. My 6 yo is playing against 10-12 yo. The price almost doubled from last season and it isn’t worth it.

I have been going to the Plant City YMCA for many years. I have found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Recently I was told that an instructor made some rude and disgusting comments about me. That is very unprofessional and totally uncalled for. She teaches the Silver Sneakers classes on Mondays and Tuesdays. I love going to this location and hope to enjoy many more years exercising there.

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and willing to assist with all my questions, both on the exercise floor and at the front counter. As a senior, new to structured exercise, friendly and knowledgeable feedback is very important to keep me coming back and maintaining a new outlook on fitness. At any stage in fife, health is the most important factor in happiness and movement of the body and muscles is a very positive factor in maintaining overall health and fitness.

Better all the time. This is one of the hidden gems of Plant City. Almost all of the staff here are the nicest folks you will ever deal with. Huge, beautiful pool area. We are loving all the upgrades out here. We have been members for about 5 years and now and it just keeps on getting better.

They have a friendly staff. Looks to be clean and well organized. I like that they have a variety of activities and they work with the Tampa VA.

I’d give 0 stars but I can’t. They do not accommodate grandparents with grandchildren with any of their plans including the family plan at $91a month. The parents of the grandchildren have to pay a full amount of the family plan ($91) whether or not the parents go or not for the grandparent to take them to the Y.

Fun happy place - clean well run gym …classes led by great leaders Upon entering the people at the front desk say hello and smile May seem a small factor yet to the members who live alone it is invaluable

My kids LOVED their week at daycamp. They did a variety of activities every day and really enjoyed learning from their counselors. They can't wait for next summer!

My wife and I have been coming to this "Y", since mid-January of 2023. We love coming to see our "new friends" at the "Y". It's a clean, great place, with wonderful, friendly staff & great exercise programs.

Wonderful and friendly staff. We are at the Y almost daily. From swimming to basketball to lifting weights, there is always something for our family of eight.

I have called multiple times to get a personal trainer for my husband. First of all I never ever talked to a real person, and no one has ever called me back. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly. My little boy goes to camp each summer and he always feels loved and appreciated. The activities for adults are great as well. The gym is nice and clean. My family and I have been members for several years now and we love it each time! Thank you!

94 degrees fahrenheit, Saturday afternoon, 3:49 PM, crystal clear skies. "Are you here to use the pool?, it closes in 11 minutes", followed by laughter by woman behind the counter and her youthful sidekick (laughing also). My mistake for expecting anything to make intuitive sense, don't the majority of us work 9-5 M-F such that the time(s) we would be most likely to use the pool would be ON A BLISTERING HOT DAY, SATURDAY, CLEAR SKIES? Wife tells me I should have known better, either "kids day" or really non-intuitive "pool is closed (laugh at you) sorry" deal. My fault....Obviously, I should not rely on what I would think is common sense and look at the "pool is closed when common sense would have it open" schedule, my fault.

Today they changed the stay and play rules so that you must be 6. So now my 5 year old who has been playing in the slide area can no longer play in that area. Yesterday she could, today she can’t. No reason posted, no apology. When I asked the manager - it was too bad so sad. They can get a hold of you to tell you your payment didn’t go through but they can’t reach out and apologize for their mistake. This Y caters to silver sneakers. Paying families are NOT the priority.
