Amazing setup and beautiful landscape!! We visited this place with our three children (9, 6 and 3 year old). And everyone loved every bit of it. Mind you it was 92F degrees outside when we went there to visit. However, due to the excellent landscape (lots of thick and tall trees and bushes) we could barely see the sun while it was pleasantly mild temperature all throughout the park. There are plenty of dinosaur and ice age animal exhibitions to see and take pictures of. They have gem finding and fossil finding mini section where children can have extra fun activities for additional fee. General admission prices we found to be adequate for the amount of fun we received during our visit. Don’t forget to ask for their military discount if you’re a veteran or active duty member. And even your spouse or significant other with a proper dependent ID can get a small discount, which I found it to be really nice (every bit helps 😊). All in all it was an amazing experience! Highly recommend visiting this place. Be sure to bring lots of fluids and a stroller or a cart if you got small children. You’re going to be walking a lot. 😁

Took our grandkids who love dinosaurs big time. They have a train now that covers a small part of the park which gives you time to cool down and observe. It's a good place for kids who are really into dinosaurs. It takes probably two or three hours to go through the park and early morning is the best because it gets hot towards summer time.

Surprisingly well laid out and clean. Great for families with smaller kids. Nice paths.... short and simple train ride.... reasonably price compared to others these days. Most of all, my children loved it. They have a dinosaur themed playground that the kids enjoyed thoroughly. How is this place not better known?

WOW!! What an experience, the dinosaurs are amazing, the landscape is outstanding as well. The facilities are clean, the playgrounds are great! It was unfortunate that the fossil dig was closed. But the gem excavation was open which is a bonus! Make sure you get your tickets with excavation. There no food here but many clean picnic table, makes for a great family experience.

It is best to think of this place as a nature park with dinosaur statues and a few activities for the kids. It is a good place to go when the weather is nice and you just want a relaxing few hours. You can bring a picnic basket, walk around the trails, read the placards about various dinosaurs, and enjoy your lunch. It has some activities for young children such as a kids train ride, playground, and mini golf.

This park is very nice and simple. My 3 year old had fun here. We did the fossil digging and gem panning. The playground is nice too. Just make sure to bring snacks and drinks especially during summer time as it tends to get really hot. But there are shaded areas where you can rest and have picnics. Interesting place for dinosaur lovers out there!

I'm an empty nester and I wish I had discovered this place when my kids were young. Even at my age, I loved visiting. It is a wonderful place to just get out and walk... surrounded by pretty cool stuff, and very lush landscape. Fun photo ops, helpful friendly staff, fair price and the gift shop is fabulous.

Took our two year old grandchild. Had a great time. You can buy sodas and bottled water here, but no food. You are allowed to bring in cooler with food and drinks. Picnic tables available in park or you can go to your car and return to park with wrist band.

Took my son for his 3rd birthday (should have went a day early for a free ticket). Dinosaurs are cool to look at but a lot costs extra. I wish everything would be included in the price, since it's already pretty pricey. My son had a good time but was disappointed we didn't have a train ticket (we thought we purchased one at the front) Did enjoy it was dog friendly, so our pups got to join for the day. Pretty much a one and done deal, no desire to go back again. Bring your own water and bring plenty, NO water bottle filing stations at the restrooms. Was cool they had it decorated for Halloween.

For parents with dino-loving kids, this is a must-visit! The dinosaur display is impressive, and our kids had a blast exploring the entire park. Don't miss the fantastic playground at the end – it's an added bonus!

This out in the open dinosaur world of a gem was absolutely fantastic. Really a great place to take the kids they do need more drink and food options while there but all in all a really great facility. My daughter had a great time in the playgrounds and really enjoyed walking the yard looking at the full size dinosaurs this was a great family treat.

Dinosaur World was WAY better than I thought it would be. We took my nephew here for his birthday, and he had a great time. The walk through the exhibits is like a nature walk-very tropical and beautiful. In fact, we recommend visitors bring bug spray. When we got there, the power had jyst gone out. The staff handled it masterfully, making adjustments to help people buy tickets and gifts, and within 15. minutes, power was back. We spent about 2 hours there altogether and had a great day.

I grew up in Tampa and as a kid my parents never let me go to Dinosaur World. Well now i'm an adult with an almost 3 year old and decided to take him to do what I never got to. I was absolutely blown away. I went in with low expectations, but they were exceeded spectacularly. The playgrounds were a hit. The entire park was meticulously maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I'm so glad I decided to make the trip here, an I will be back very soon!

Military get in free! I’ve driven by this place for years and thought it would be a bunch of chipped-paint-cheap-small plastic dinosaurs around a lake. My three and one year old LOVED it. Perfect place to take children under 5. It’s divided up into two chunks—there is a playground as soon as you walk in (yes!!) followed by a walking trail of dinosaur species in the back. Dinosaurs are clearly well cared for (no chipped paint!) and they feature ones that I’ve never heard of…so that was kinda fun to learn new things. There is an option to “upgrade” your ticket and do a rock discovery activity in the middle of the park. We purchased that but it was SO busy with people and the kids wanted to hit the trail right away so I do regret doing that upgrade because we never did it. If you have kids over 5, it would be worth it to do that extra activity. Could you make a day out of this? Absolutely. It’s also a mile away from Keel & Curley winery which often has strawberries and u-pick options. I am surprisingly pleased and excited to go back.

If you're in the area, it's a must-see. It's definitely a family orrinted activity. Dress accordingly, most of the exhibits are located outside. The gift shop is very neat. The staff is very helpful. The ticket is very affordable.

A very pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting much but the grandkids wanted to go so we went. It was much more than I expected including a museum, artifacts, very well done replicas of dinosaur skeletons, a train ride, paved well kept trails with dinosaur replicas photo opportunities etc. There is a lot to do and see especially for younger kids, say 4 to 10 ish. My grands loved the playground too.

Brought our grandchildren for a visit, a 1 1/2 and a 4 year old. They loved it, our 5 yr old and 7 year old were sad they were in school so they couldn't visit. Reasonable pricing, clean, shaded areas for a picnic, and 2 playgrounds, age appropriate for children older and younger. Mostly shaded area throughout park, very comfortable visit. P.S. loved the gift shop.

Great place to take the kids. Learned some neat things about dinosaurs. Tree coverage for shade. Encouraged to bring a cooler along with picnic food. Plenty of picnic tables. 2 playgrounds for the kids to play at too. Good time!

Loved visiting this hidden gem! If you have a Dino obsessed little one, I’d definitely recommend taking them here. They have what seems like hundreds of different Dino sculptures with descriptions of each dinosaur. Some I’ve never even heard of! I was pleasantly surprised with how many different activities there is to do here. Seems like there is something to do or look at no matter where you looked, which we all enjoyed so much. Especially some of the more “hidden” dinosaurs. I love that there are multiple playgrounds for multiple age groups. Was really excited to see that they were adding a splash pad, but unfortunately it was not in working order when we visited. Overall, it’s a great little place to explore for a few hours with your littles! **Please call ahead if you plan on using military discount because their online and in person discount is very different**

This is a great stop for families with kids between 2 and 12. The trails were fun and seeing the excitement of the younger kids was worth it even if it might be a bit campy for adults or teenagers. Easy drive from either Tampa or Orlando.

This is a great place to visit for children and adults alike. There are over 200 dinosaurs to see, a museum with many fossils, dig sites for children and adults, two children play areas, a gift shop and even a recently added train ride. There is a mile and a half hiking trail that includes some wooden bridges and plenty of beautiful foliage. Bring your own lunch as there are no snack or food machines. They do have water fountains and bathrooms for cutomers only. They also have a couple of soda machines and a Quarter pressing souvenir machine in the gift shop. This place is located in Plant City and it is not too far from Tampa. It is a little over an hour from Orlando. Make sure you check the gift shop as they have plenty of interesting merchandise there.

My daughter, who is 2 years old loved it! It takes a good two hours to see everything and that’s reading the signs about the Dinos. Lots of shade from the trees, which is awesome. A play ground inside too. They have a bridge that you can feed the koi fish so have some quarters. Nice family outing.

Amazing!! Worth a stop! I’m a born and raised Tampa native, have passed by this place off the interstate my whole life, wish I’d stopped sooner than age 40! I will be back. Took my three year old son this past weekend, was so impressed, the grounds are immaculate - it’s as much a homage to Florida botanical beauty as it is to dinosaurs for lovers of both. The staff was very friendly and helpful guiding us around, and my sensory sensitive son had a blast. The park is covered in shade, it’s very pleasant to walk through. Biggest stand out - no bugs!!! Further proof they really take care of these grounds. If you’ve got time and a Dino lover in your group, make it a point to stop here, you’ll have a great time!

My three and one year old love this place! If you are a local, the season pass is definitely worth it. Or if visiting, it is a fun place to check out for the family. The grounds are super clean and the staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. Along with several large dinosaur models spread throughout the 20 acre grounds, they also have an older kids’ and younger kids’ playground, a small museum with 4 animatronic dinosaurs at the end, a “fossil dig” for little ones where they can shift sand for shark teeth and other small treasures led by a staff member, a water panning station where they can find colored rocks, and a sand pit called the “bone yard” where they can use paint brushes to find a dinosaur skeleton buried under sand. There a couple of vending machines with snacks and drinks and a large gift shop to find something fun for any dinosaur enthusiast. Recommend bringing a cooler with food for lunch if you plan on spending the day at the park. Overall, it is a fun place to bring the little ones.

Loved the Halloween themed decorations. Not overly scary for little ones and definitely improved upon the walk around the grounds. The short train ride is a nice addition, though $5 per person seems a bit high for the length of the ride. The gift shop has reasonable prices and a great selection of items for kids and kids at heart.

Luckily had a great weather. What worked well: Huge play area with lots of benches. Little one spend a good amount of time in the playground. Lady that checked us in gave a map and a quick walkthrough. Bathrooms were kept clean. Whole place is maintained well and clean. Train ride was short but fun. For $5 per person, maybe offer more than one ride? Not everyone is going to do it, but may appear to be more valuable for the money. Paleontologist patiently answered all my curious questions. Learned my one thing for the day 😁 We didn't buy anything from the gift shop. They have interesting dinosaur bone, tooth, toys and trinkets for those who are interested. Good place to go with kids when the weather is warm.

We had an amazing time despite what others said. If your child is infatuated with dinosaurs they'll love it!! We spent about 2-3hrs walking the path, looking at all the dinosaurs, and reading their stones. We collected a lot of gems as well. Don't forget to take a stroll through the museum that's next to the restrooms. You can bring food inside. We had a whole birthday cake, drinks, and small snacks. No bags were checked and food is allowed. I would definitely return with a cooler (seen several families going in with coolers... Size didn't matter). It was a joyous experience. The whole family loved it and after decades of passing by I finally went in because my child wanted to celebrate his birthday here 😁🤣 If you have a Florida Aquarium card/pass you'll get 50% off.

Very well done park! Enjoyed that most of the dinosaurs were placed amongst vegetation so it looked like you just came upon them. Lovely grounds and easy parking. Even though it was just us two adults, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

We have always wanted to stop at dinosaur world and finally had the chance. It was a really neat experience for everyone. I had doubts that the older kids wouldn’t like it but even the adults enjoyed everything. It wasn’t too crowded and it was nice being outdoors. The only complaint was they didn’t have any options for food or even snacks.

It was very fun. Well maintained, clean... the Halloween displays were up, and very creative. They added to the enjoyment. We saw several families of multiple generations enjoying the park. Their gift shop is extensive with some truly interesting items. If you're traveling on I-4 and need a place to stop, stretch, and tire out the kids, it's worth planning a couple of hours into the trip. It's not even far out of the way if your travels take you up I-75. Just hop off on I-4 and it's a few exits east.

Can't believe we waited so long to go!! This park was perfect! Wonderful place to take small kids, plenty of space to run around. Two playgrounds and plenty of dinosaurs! We went in October, they decorated for Halloween, best decorations I've seen in a long time

  • 3/5 Tiffany D. 1 year ago on Google
It would be better if It wasn't so hot they really should have a cool off area with fan or mister and they only had drinks & a water fountain at entrance. They need to add a water fountain or drink machine & cool down area. Other then that it was nice but should add Mechanical dinosaurs outside even if they have to up the price.

Surprisingly not cheesy at all. Well done, well marked placards with a lush backdrop. We also did the gem mining and fossil excavation activities which the kids enjoyed and took home souvenirs. Worthwhile stop.

We brought our nephews and they had lots of fun. It is a beautiful park and the replicas were fantastic. The only reason I don't give five stars is because they do not have a restaurant or anything to eat inside or around the park. People can bring food, but it would be great if they had a shop with snacks.

We drove here from Orlando, and it was absolutely worth the hour plus drive. I have a 3 and 4 year old, and they had the best time. We were here for 3 hours and could have stayed longer . The only reason we left was because they were exhausted! It was about $60 for the 3 of us, but it was well worth the money. There was so much to do. I do suggest bringing a backpack with drinks and lunch since there is no food served here. I have no complaints at all. We had a great day.

Went today for my son's birthday. He absolutely loved it. It is definitely a cute place. There were these ducks that followed us for a second patiently waiting for fish food. It was a great time with the family. Highly recommend

We just visited Dinosaur World and had a great day. We had my 3.5 year old niece with us who really enjoyed it. The park was well maintained and beautiful to walk through. Lots of dinosaurs to look at. They had a fantastic gift shop as well. I would like to see more interactive things or maybe even a small 3d cinema experience. All in all it was a great day and I'd recommend it for younger children. Teenagers would probably be bored.
