Great atmosphere and the food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the smoked sausage and cheese omelette and I added mushroom. So Good and generous on the sausage. ❤️

This is a great local country diner. If your looking for the southern home cooking feel, then this is the place. Good food and good service.

Brick House Cafe is a diner-style restaurant located in Downtown Plant City. This place is quite popular, especially for breakfast and lunch. The decor is very modern, and is basic. The main dining room can be loud at times, but you’re lucky if you’re in the back. The service was very nice to us. Got our food out quickly and even got us free drinks to go! Checkout was quick. As I said before, the food is similar to what you’d get at a diner. I thought the food was very basic; and you can make almost the entire menu at home. I got the Italian Sub. It was good. The fries were basic, and the chicken tenders were alright. Overall, is slightly overrated.

This was a delightful stop for a morning breakfast. Nothing tells me to prepare for a home cook meal more than walking to a restaurant and them saying "sit where you would like," which was great because you had options like, tables, booths or even at the bar. This place is a very homey feeling with perfect staffing. About 35 customers at the time I sat down and what I could see at least 10 servers and 6 cooks and about 5 food runners. I ordered my yummy food and received my food about 4 min after ordering it. For me, food was perfect, nice crisp on the tops of the corn beef hash and hashbrowns with a nice soft bottom. Sweet tea wasn't too sweet, coffee was delightful, and the ambiance was just pleasant and enjoyable. I recommend Brick House (BH) Cafe if you find yourself in Plant City in the morning and you are hungry, give them a try because I'm willing to bet you won't be disappointed. Try it out!

The food and service is always top notch for breakfast. The kitchen staff is always quick and spot on with the orders. Don't let the line of people waiting fool you, we have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get a table. If you stop in on a Saturday or Sunday order the southern fried grits. They do not disappoint💯

The wait is long but well worth it. The atmosphere is cozy, but a little noisy during the Sunday morning rush.. The food is incredible, the service is fantastic (thanks Sherri). I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy but everything we ordered was delicious. We will come back over and over.

Very welcome from when we first came in. Waitress Courtney was a doll. Loved her energy and loved how it was easy to have her. My son is a very picky eater and although it would drive most waitresses crazy. She handled it with such pleasure and went above and beyond. Thank you Courtney!! Business was cleaned, friendly, and had an amazing atmosphere. Warm welcoming feeling!!

Food was mediocre, and I would say it tasted like a cafeteria or hospital food. Found the restaurant to be grimy dirty. Needs a deep cleaning everywhere, including bathrooms, parking lot, and property. There was food all over the floor. It would've been nice to see them take the time to clean between patrons even a little. Chairs had crumbs on them. The table was sticky. Waitress was really nice and attentive.

Let me tell you the steak sub 😋 the biscuits and gravy nice serving but a bit too peppery, kind of like creamy pepper sauce w no sausage flavor. The eggs and sausage links were the main show on my wife's plate, which she really enjoyed. The service was amazing. We traveled from Lakeland, the next city over, about 17 miles. Please stop by in Plant City and try them out!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. We went for breakfast. The home fries were perfect! I asked for them well done, so many places don't seem to know what that means, but the Brick House does! The cheese omelette was yummy, maybe could use a bit more cheese but it was still delicious. My 15 year old ate my leftovers that afternoon & he said it was amazing. Can't wait to go back. $11 for a cheese omelet, home fries, toast & a sweet tea. My friend had the meat omelet, hashdrowns, toast & sprite for $13. Better price than McDonald's & the food is 1,000% better The service was amazing. Our waitresses was on point, friendly & funny. Checkout was easy & the lady that checked us out was very sweet.

I understand it was busy but even though we sat there for about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged the other servers could have easily asked if they could just get us a beverage until our server had time for us. The eggs were under cooked and I sent them back which is fine and the corned beef hash was waaaay salty. Once the server acknowledged us she was very good.

If I could pick a place where breakfast is as good as home.. it would be here! Eggs cooked perfect, 'crispy' bacon, hummy grits and the pancakes are the lightest and fluffier I've seen, and big too. I never leave food on my plate, but I just was too full to finish those cakes!! And to top it off the service is superb... our drinks never ran out and conversation a delight... just like home!!!

Amazingly awesome family dining experience. If you love a down home diner, and you wish to go where everyone knows your name when you walk in the door this is the place for you. The food is top notch from the excellent beef and gravy, great desserts, to amazing 100% real ,real beef hamburgers. But, the best part are the waitresses as they make you feel like a VIP every time. Who would’ve thought you could still get this great service.. Always a great time.. Mini Cooper lady,,.,

This was a fun place to visit for breakfast. We meet some nice people and have some great food. The hash and cream Brule waffles were good.

I only saw my waitress twice after a long wait before ordering; once to order, and she stopped to ask how my food was before I tried it. Never saw her again. Not for coffee or anything. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Good home cooking. The place was full of locals. So much better than large chain restaurants. I had the country fried steak, eggs, home fries, and biscuit. I needed a carry out box for leftovers.

A couple of years ago I had with them the best blueberry pancakes ever. Unfortunately something changed and they are not quite the same anymore but all their food is quite good, the atmosphere is pleasant (even though a bit on the loud side) and the service is outstanding. We love eating with them every time.

It was truly amazing. The cheeseburger with bacon was so juicy and huge and amazing it was busy as hell and we still got our food within like 10 minutes at lunch rush. The waitress we had back in the back corner of that Cafe was amazing I cannot remember her name but I do know it begins with a J and she did a little googly face on my take home cup I thought that was pretty cool with that personal touch

Stumbled across this restaurant yesterday and thankful we did! Country fried steak with sausage gravy was excellent. Will try one of their award winning burgers and their hand dipped onion rings next time. Pricing is very reasonable and staff were all friendly. Especially Courtney, we told her it was our first time there and she enthusiastically shared all of the great things on the menu to try. Sweet girl. I was hungry all over again. Definitely going back next time we are in town.

Wife and I had a mid-morning breakfast after getting lab work done. To start, the coffee was delicious...plenty of sugar and creamer. Service was prompt and friendly. Order was served quickly. We ordered Western and cheese omelets with hash browns and biscuit. Omelet was light and was done to perfection with ample ingredients inside. Hash browns were crisp on the outside and tender inside and NOT greasy at all. All were served with a large "cat-head" biscuit and butter on the side. Everything was delicious. Parking can be a little tight but all-in-all, a very pleasant experience.

Amazing customer service and the food was delicious! Went here for breakfast and got the 2 eggs, corn beef hash and hashbrowns with a side of fresh fruit. Highly recommend!

Surprised and delighted. So often I intended to go but didn't. Finally met pastor for lunch. It was his idea and it was perfect. Been back once already and will recommend to anyone. Don't be fooled by crush of cars in the busy parking lot. Very roomy inside.

Seated surprisingly quick. Server very attentive. Food out quick however didn't like the fact home fries left to long on one side of grill toast had burnt taste as well as the bacon. Eggs were good other than that well you draw your own conclusions.

I am just adding to all the other 5 star reviews. Yes they are worth it. Yes it is worth waiting for. Yes they make you feel at home. AND the food is excellent. When you ask for some OJ you get a glass, not a thimble. The pancakes(side order) are large and taste like Grandma's home made. Stop in, you will not be disappointed.
