By far the cleanest Publix I have ever been in. The Pharmacy staff is outstanding and very accommodating and so is the rest of the staff. Everything was well stocked especially during Thanksgiving. All Publix are clean but this location is so clean you can eat off the floor. Parking is very easy and they also have plenty of medical carts that are well charged.

Who doesn't like Publix. Always fresh clean produce, fresh cut meat.

It's a Publix. Pretty much the same as all the others. Was a bit sad about the lack of kosher items in the shop, especially since Florida is a hotspot for people of Jewish descent. Also, my British wife who is a green card holder was refused service for alcohol sales even though she is in her 40s. I had to go through and pay for the beer and show my ID. The woman checking us out was agitated and gave my wife and I a lot of attitude over the green card and alcohol situation. Luckily, this not my local Publix because I would not want to return to this location.

This rating is only based on my recent cake order I picked up for Mother's Day that recently just passed. I ordered a Red velvet mother's Day cake. And it was terrible tasting cake i ever had. The cake itself was not cheap. $27 for a dry over sweet cake. Did not taste fresh at all. It was mainly covered in over sweetened icing and not much cake at all. What a disappointment.I thought if i ordered a cake through the bakery, it would be freshly baked and made? Well. Now i know not to ever order cakes here.

I just want to say one of the best in customer service!! Everyone from the customer service to the managers to the cashiers and baggers!! If they were all this friendly it would change my whole outlook on Publix!!!

Jan was extremely rude to us and slammed our bags in our cart. Will not return to this Publix. She should consider retirement. Will not be back , shopping was not a pleasure.

My Go-To shopping place. Publix is great, Shanghai Chinese food a few doors down, Subway, Marco's pizza, Home Depot and Wendy's. A credit union and Mail Port.

I love shopping here. There is a wide selection of products and prices are not bad. I love how Publix has so many different bogos and shopping deals. The quality is also very solid with the freshest produce and high quality meats, dairy, etc. This is a great Publix to shop at in the Plant City area.

Prep food had mold on it. $7.42 was a good price but couldn’t eat it of course.

I just picked up my new car battery from Wal Mart, I went to Publix to grab dinner. My little jumper box did not quite have enough juice to start my dead car battery, I was stranded. A young man, Dylan that was collecting carts outside immediately jumped into action, grabbed his tools out of his truck and literally changed out my old battery and installed the new one! Grateful is an understatement, thank you so much Dylan!

We catered an event using the deli. Everything was fine except the deli person said they had no napkins, plates, or plastic warehouse. Strange.

Great store. CLEAN. Employees go out of their way to help customers. Publix has the best deli section however a little more $$$👍👍

I was shopping tonight and almost an hour before the store closes (around 8:00 pm) the grocery manager Joe is pulling all of the sale tags. I had to pull up the online ad flier, which took much longer to finish my shopping.

The meat department workers are very nice! The produce dept could use some extra help, I often find old fruit and/or have to ask to have fresh fruit brought out. Also, don't forget to rotate when stocking! I've recently found items that expired in 2021 on the shelves.

First time at the plant city publix and it was such a pleasure. The store was bubbly, clean, and they had products (strawberry bundt cake) that I've never seen in my Valrico store. I'll be back for sure.

Publix is always a go-to when grocery shopping. This one in particular is always very clean and well stocked. They had bottles of water just before a potential hurricane when all of the surrounding places didn't. I've always known Publix to take great care of its customers...never fails.

The other day I saw a manager and other employee a few storefronts down seemingly harassing a homeless man. I did not catch the whole occurrence so I don’t know what “caused” this confrontation but I overheard the manager telling the homeless man to send out applications and get a job in a very demeaning way. I love Publix, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I’d love to see Publix uphold their community values and uplift our neighbors in need rather than put them down. If we all led with compassion and understanding, maybe we could make a positive impact in someone else’s life, contributing the the overall health and well being of our community. Ceasing to look at our homeless population as a nuisance is a great first step!

Shopping here really is a pleasure. This is my local Publix, and while I avoid shopping at all costs (it generally causes me anxiety, and usually my husband does it), I had to head to the store today. I was greeted and offered assistance twice before reaching the check out and then the check out process went very smoothly, bagged and loaded. I was offered help to my car (which I didn’t need). At my car, as I was loading, a young man approached and offered to unload my three cases of water (they were B2G1), closed my trunk and took my cart. This Publix is fully staffed with employees who offer help. I still don’t want to go to the store, but I’m happy to know that if I haaaaaave to, this publix was on it- at least today. :)

Clean and friendly atmosphere at all times. A bit overpriced however you usually can find things here you can't get else where. I am a longtime shopper, 40yrs and get most of my groceries here. If you watch the sales you get really good deals.

Our shopping experience was great. It ended with one of the cart collectors wishing us a great evening and a safe drive home. He made good eye contact and I felt like the whole public's team was well trained in customer service.

So the reason for four stars is because for the most part, Publix is everything good that you'd expect "where shopping is a pleasure", however I'm tired and sick of shelves being empty regularly. I know, I know --- first world problems. Yes, I realize there's the pandemic, and with that, supply chain issues. I can't help but wonder how and why all sorts of stores seemingly have no problem obtaining and stocking the most obscure and holiday specific products, but not everyday necessities like coffee creamer (1/2 & 1/2 in particular), or poppy seed bread, or common chocolate chip muffins, or plain Greek yogurt, or cream cheese, etc. (All in non-organic/non-expensive varieties). Yet, stores are chock full of Halloween special cookies, muffins, candy, yogurt, candy apples, plates, Tumblers, cookie dough, Thanksgiving turkeys, and of course the start of some Christmas items, too. I realize it's common for the aforementioned holiday stuff to be on the shelves this time of year and for common staples to be out of stock occasionally, but that's the thing - it's ALL the time now! I just feel the manufacturers of food stuffs (working perhaps with less staff need) to prioritize what they produced en masse on the regular. I can appreciate if not everyone agrees with my sentiment, but surely I cannot be alone in this way of thinking, right? 🤔

Publix. Where shopping is a pleasure eh? I'm sorry but there is nothing pleasurable about 5 for $5 limes in the produce department. Do yourself a favor and go to IGA in Dover for produce. The prices are much more appropriate. Even in this inflated economy. Publix is surely gouging at 5 for $5 limes.

Great place to eat seafood ! Would recommend to everyone who is hungry. I ate the shrimp. It was great. Scallops were a little bit small. I'll be back !!

I'd like to begin by saying, Publix was a large part of my childhood. Every birthday included a Publix birthday cake and every beach trip included a stop by the Publix Deli for some Cubans. Publix is an institution in Plant City and one my family trusted. So when my fiancé and I decided to get married in Plant City, the obvious choice for our wedding cake was Publix. I sorely regret that decision. The morning of the wedding, I called the bakery at the Publix off James Redman right after they opened at 7:30 AM. I spoke to the bakery and they informed me that the cakes that I ordered a month prior were ready and waiting for me. When I showed up at 10:00 AM, that's when I knew something was wrong. The bakers claimed to have no idea what I was talking about and claimed that I had never ordered a cake with them. They then directed me to the other Publix in town, off Thonotosassa. After driving over there, I got the same answer. The baker at this Publix then gets on the phone at speaks with the bakery at the James Redman location. Miraculously, my cakes had surfaced. I then made my way back to the original location and retrieved "my cakes". I was supposed to pick them up at 10:00 AM and be back at the venue, but it was now 12:30 PM and I had no time to waste. Turns out the cakes that I was given were not the ones I ordered. I ordered one 8 inch round cake and a large sheet cake, both with their Raspberry Rosemary filling. It wasn't until our cake cutting ceremony, during the wedding, that we realized we were given normal vanilla cake with whip cream icing. I am convinced that Publix never actually made the cakes I ordered and used the "confusion" that they created to buy time to throw together the generic cakes that I was given. I paid extra for a cake that they baited and switched. I raved and bragged about how good Publix was and how amazing this cake was going to be and they turned out to be the low-point of my wedding day. I loved Publix and shopped there every chance I could. Never again. If your planning on ordering a wedding cake, please do your research and go with a company with integrity.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! Laziest people I have ever encountered at a publix! 9:06 and wouldn’t let me in the doors to grab one thing- because they close early now due to Covid- even though they don’t observe ANY Covid guidelines. Pathetic management. This is the only Publix still closing early. The manager needs to be physically reprimanded.

Gary doesn’t care about his customers whom have extreme allergic reactions to dog hair/dander. I understand service animals are allowed in the store, but I also understand that I do not have an allergic reaction in stores that thoroughly clean after a service animal has been in store. I went into anaphylactic shock, to which Gary offered to call an ambulance after getting defensive about how well his employees clean. Next time, I will have that ambulance come save me and sue Publix for the cost of medical. I shopped at another location with zero issues, then thanked the managers for caring so much about ALL of their customer needs.
