Beautiful, historic downtown Plant City location! Stopped in for a quick lunch with my Dad... We both ordered the BLT Special with Fries. Our sandwiches were perfect, and their Fries were sooo yummy too!! Home Cooking, absolutely. Very reasonably priced, as our tab with 2 drinks was just over $20. Will definitely be back!

Snellgrove's is a Mom and Pop style restaurant that serves home style cooking at a reasonable cost. Food was served fresh and cooked to order. Staff is friendly and helpful and ready to assist customers as needed. They offer several side dish options and wait staff will substitute if available.

On our way to see an attraction and found this jewel. What is not to like. An older restaurant filled with love.. We barely got in the door and were greeted with a sweet voice, sit where you like. Within 5 minutes we were given recommendations and we took them. My wife had a big piece of ham, with eggs, potatoes and toast. I had the fried catfish, eggs, hash browns and toast. We split a small biscuit and gravy. 2 drinks. $31. Wow! The catfish was moist and the breading was fantastic. I wish I could find more places like this. If it wasn't so far, I'd come every day. Check it out!!

A classic 80’s diner. No pretense, just good food, nice people amd the cook yelling “order up!!” while Simply Red plays on the stereo. In the heart of a pleasant little town as well.

Loved the hot chocolate. Food was decent but didn’t feel the wow factor. It is good enough for a quick bite or if you are around this area. For a meat lovers omelet & hot chocolate I paid around $18. Street parking available and the restaurant was quiet on a Sunday morning.

I dined in alone so sat at the bar. The time was around 11am, and tables were pretty much all taken. Didn't take long for my order, I'm assuming because I was at the bar, but people near by I over heard had already been waiting for a while, again it was super busy. Everyone was patient, not sure if they were just down one waiter but I can see someone becoming impatient. Ordered the Snellgrove special and some French toast. Standard breakfast with eggs, grits, bacon and a biscuit. French toast was great, had some extra cinnamon on it. All good and pretty honest prices. Pleasant midday meal. Coffee was great and waiters are so friendly.

I was in Plant City recently to attend my brother's basketball tournament. We searched for a place close by to eat in between his games. I am very happy that we found Snellgrove's Restaurant! The food was really good and relatively inexpensive (around $10 per person). All the staff here were really laid back and friendly. It is a much different atmosphere than what I am used to living in and around Tampa. The area surrounding the restaurant was nice and truly had a small town vibe to it. We did have a bit of difficulty finding a parking spot, but one could say the same for the vast majority of restaurants and stores in Plant City's downtown area. The next time that a basketball tournament brings us to Plant City, I will already know exactly where to go for either breakfast or lunch!

Had an order of fried gizzards and turkey with dressing. Also comes with two sides and cornbread. Everything tasted good and homemade. Staff was excellent and portions was generous. Will definitely stop by again.

I came here for breakfast and the food was kind of plain and missing flavor , regular portion size and customer service was ok

Great little place in downtown Plant city. In terms of value it can’t be beat. I had the country fried steak with mash potatoes and string beans. Everything came out fresh and tasted good. The service was good and everyone was nice and respectful. Will definitely be coming back.

Updated review. My son who is in the 8th grade requested to go here today. They have great homestyle cooking. The burgers are really good. I liked the grilled shrimp on my salad, the shrimp was seasoned really well. The salad bar selections have a lot of flavor. I also had black eyed peas, rutabagas and corn bread which is good if you are looking for a good vegan meal at this restaurant.

Amazing spot in downtown Plant City. Excellent food and they prepared the corn beef hash the way it wanted it. The other days was excellently prep.

I always enjoy eating here. Great place to eat and visit with locals who are regulars. I love the Wednesday meatloaf and my favorite is liver and onions with a side of bacon!! Nice waitresses to serve you fast

Old time Diner. The people were nice, the food came out quick and was good. My wife and I both left stuffed. I had the Western omelet and my wife had the loaded double hash browns. Both were a good size and tasted excellent. The waitstaff was attentive. I will go back for sure.

My wife and I really enjoyed breakfast. We were literally waited on by every waitress working there. They are the nicest people and a real home environment. I will definitely be back again. Also the food was amazing 👏

I was very excited to go to this restaurant because I grew up in TN and love meat and threes. I got the turkey and dressing, black eyed peas and mashed potatoes and gravy. I was so disappointed the only thing I liked was the cornbread- it was delicious! The black eyed peas were not cooked all the way and the dressing and gravy was flavorless, even after adding salt. My husband loved his country fried steak. The young lady server was super kind and the service was great. I will definitely try breakfast because I’ve heard good reviews, I just won’t do lunch again.

Great place to eat in downtown Plant City! Menu is Southern goodness, served by a very friendly staff. Have been twice, and the food is consistently good and served fairly quickly. My guests had fried steak and onions, grilled chicken wrap, and Cuban sandwich. sides were corn, fries, Lima beans, collard greens or turnips can't remember, but everyone enjoyed the down home vibe and laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend you check them out, plus there are cool shops all around.
