I would like to share my experience in purchasing furniture from the Plant City Big Lots store. We purchased a living-room set and a patio set for our new house that was being built. We stored the furniture we purchased in our garage for a few months until we could move in. As we were moving in this weekend and bringing our new furniture inside our home we noticed a tear in one of the couches. I immediately called the store and told them. I was nervous because we had it stored for so long that they wouldn't let us exchange it but they did!! They were so nice about it and we were able to exchange for one that wasn't torn!! I want to give a shout out to Toni and Alexandria for their excellent customer service!! Thank you for going above and beyond for your customers today!!! You bothe get a 5 star rating from us!!! Thank you Thank you!!! 🙂🙂

Lisa who works at the plant city store is what you call a dedicated worker, this lady worked with me and my mom and had multiple customers that came in at the same time for furniture .She treated everyone the same with the upmost respect wanting to help she didn’t allow the challenge of different customers needs affect her or her work ethic she showed NO frustration. This is what I call excellent customer service & genuine & not because it’s her job. I live In Tampa and anytime I want to go to big lots I will skip the one by my home and go to plant city on Collins rd just because there is an awesome person like Lisa who work there. She deserves a raise keep up the great customer service we need more people like her when dealing with customers

Store is a total mess. I ordered a Christmas tree, on 11.19.2022 we picked it up and when l asked about the buzz rewards l was told they didn't know anything about it. I still have no rewards for spending.99 plus tax. Very disappointed with this.

A very large variety of everything I was looking for some patio furniture this is our winter thanksgiving and Christmas only two patio furniture tables that was it

They still have nice seasonal items but prices are WAaaaaay too high.

I just left the store and don't understand why the girl on the register was texting( with 5 people behind me)gave me the wrong change,and when I told her it was wrong she called the guy next to her to help her. He got it wrong! he called the manager she got it wrong! I gave them $20.11 for something that cost $3.11 no one can figure out that they had to round it out and give me back $17 and argued with me that it was $16 and change they had to give me...which i walked out with...it's just the principal of it all... It's sad that people are so ignorant..

Nice staff, they are attentive to the customers. The only thing that I didn't think was very professional is they have a section in the back of the store that they sell Gazebo's in with display cards that say if your interested in purchasing this item remove and take up to a sales associate. So I did some online research while in the store and could not really get all the details of the main website i was looking for so i went and asked one associate and he could not answer the question. So after about 30 minutes i went to the front desk with the card and said id like to purchase this item. I was told we don't have them here in the store I then said I'm in know hurry we can order it and ill just pick it up when it comes in. Then I was told we don't have them online or anywhere for purchase? I'm not sure I've ever spent that much time on a purchase that a store is offering but don't have it to sell and my ask was they remove the cards from the items to respect the customers time and effort a little more.

Have a new Big lots credit card have tried three times to use it till they have not got the account straightened out

We go to Big Lots on our anniversary (20 years we've been doing this). The Big Lots store had a lot of good deals. I would recommend this store.

Went furniture shopping. Kaleb was patient with us as we stayed after close but found us what we wanted. Next Lisa helped and found us the best deal and got us items ordered that were not in stock. And thank you John for putting all the pieces together and apart.

Always find what I came for and other goodies too! Love shopping at Big Lots rather than having to check myself out in long lines at Walmart!!

I love shopping at this big lots but the day I went they were out of the item I was looking for.

Staff is very friendly. 5 stars would be deserved if they had a couple of power chairs for handicapped patrons.

They have a lot if kitchen imolements furniture and groceries. Some stuff like Bob's red Mill is over priced in my opinion. But that's a specialty item.

They have a variety of products much like Walmart but on a smaller scale. I find things there that I can't find the other places and it's a great place to shop.

This is a great store that many disregard. This is NOT a dollar store. They actually stock a lot of product that is of really good quality, and at a fair price. I shop there whenever I can, and they do have some great deals on food. Try it out, you will be glad you did.

They never have things in stock. I found a shelve I wanted 2 weeks ago. But it was not in stock. So I went back this past Saturday and again not in stock. When we grabbed the display to see if we could buy it. She shouted at me and my husband from the register "That's a display, that's a display" while dealing with other customers at the time. I ask if they would be interested in selling it because they had not had it in stock for 2 weeks. To which she shouted again "That's a display it's not for sell." We put the display back on the shelf were it had been collecting dust and went on to find a way better deal down the road. Thanks but no thanks Big Lots. How about stock up on your items and teach you managers how to deal with situations like this. Shouting at someone while you are in the middle of a transaction is not professional.
