We were hungry and it was the closest restaurant around, so we gave it a try. And what a discovery, it was absolutely delicious 😋 Ribs were phenomenal, brisket one of the best i had. Best bbq discovery of the year! Will come back for sure, one of the best BBQ i ever had.

Finally found BBQ in Florida. Real deal stuff here!!! And, hand cut, hand battered onion rings. The brisket had perfect smoke ring and flavor. No sauce needed. Pulled pork was phenomenal. Sides good as well. I asked about corn bread and they do not have it. But waitress had perfect answer. "Only do things you know you are REALLY good at. Someone must have figured out long ago that corn bread wasn't one of them ". Lol. But very true. I would have been disappointed if this awesome meat was served with subpar corn bread. Instead, our delightful waitress had me laughing before my taste buds were thanking me. If you're looking for authentic BBQ, smoked on sight, here is your place. I WILL BE BACK.

Wanted to find a new place to try on our way home from long weekend get away. We tried this place and all I can say is Amazing!!! Great staff, wonderful food.... We will be back for sure!

I ordered the 4 meat platter which came with 2 sides. Everything tasted great. I really enjoyed the wings and ribs the most. More than enough food to share if you want to. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Beyond excellent! Great service and atmosphere and the food is absolutely amazing. The Kings Wings have ruined all other wings for me. The ribs are consistently delicious and lean. They go through over 30,000 wings and 100 slabs of ribs per month. This is a "hands down" must visit for an outstanding meal. Thank you Robert and Scarlet, you are doing great work!

I had the Smoked Sausage sandwich & my friend had the ribs. Both were pretty good. The service was outstanding.i would recommend Smokin Aces. One thing I'd recommend is the fish... that is really good.

Best BBQ I've had in a long time. Fist time we have had Smoking Ace's , it was fabulous. We hit the jackpot our waitress (Michele) recommended a variety platter. I had 3 of their award winning meats , including Brisket, pulled pork, and wings. All were unbelievably tasty, but their wings are totally on a different level. I'm planning to order only wings next time. I think I'm beginning to drool thinking about those wings. THANK YOU, SMOKING ACES!

Fabulous atmosphere as well as food well worth the wait! Janetta our server was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and quick with conversation. The parking lot is large here they have wheelchair access as well as wheelchair entrance. There is dining indoors as well as outdoor seating. This establishment was know as Chanceys l believe. If you haven't ate here it is well worth the time no matter where you are traveling from. I highly recommend them!

We were a party of six and we differed greatly from the other reviews on this site. Two of us had BBQ Brisket and it was the worst we have ever had. We are from Texas so perhaps our expectations were high but I don’t believe it was merely that. One of the children had a rib plate and liked it but that was one out of six. Two of the party had hamburgers and neither like them. Even the sides (green beans, fries) were not very tasty. The service was good and the atmosphere is fine but the taste was just not there.

First time visit and we had a pleasant experience. Food was delicious and we didn’t have to wait long for it. Nice and clean family atmosphere. It was worth the drive from Lakeland to Plant City.

Overall the food was good. The wings are a must try and the ribs were tender off the bone. I recommend the pro meat platter, which allows to try the meats you like. The potato salad was my favorite side. Only concern was the food wasn’t very hot out of the kitchen. Service was excellent and friendly. Would definitely stop in again.

Don't let the unassuming outside appearance and gravel parking deter you. This place is a true Plant City gem. Bottom Line: Friendly staff, quick service, and amazing food. Shared Appetizers: Corn Nuggets, Fried Mushrooms, and Shredded BBQ Chicken Nachos. All great tasting and came out fast, nice n' hot. Main Course: Grilled Grouper, Sweet Potato Fries, and Spicy Collard Greens. All excellent tasting, I cleaned the plate. Main Course (another visit): "Player's Choice:" 4 Wings, Brisket, Ribs, and Pulled Pork. Absolutely delicious. Award winning BBQ. Good portions left me stuffed and satisfied. Bill including drinks and Appetizers averaged $24 per person. Not bad for how much you get and had to take some home; Leftovers for lunch.

Wow. This place was fantastic. Friendly staff. Food was great. Good portion size for price. Atmosphere was rustic but fit a BBQ place. Food was fast and hot. Decent BBQ sauces. Nice flavor on meat. While 2 AC’s broken, with fans was very comfortable. We were there at 11:45 am and wasn’t crowded.

The wings here are really good. Different though as they use a dry rub. You can choose from several sauces to put on them but you really don't need any. Sides are good, not my favorite but the wings are the star of the show. Sweet tea is pretty good too.

Very busy and few staff. Had to wait a while for our drinks. Food tasted great but a bit too cool. I prefer my food much warmer. Overall a great BBQ place, but they need to get more staff and heat the food better. The only thing that came out hot was the fried ochra- which was delicious. Nice that they provide military and first responders discount. 👍

Service was a bit inattentive despite it not being very busy. Wait staff was talking to each other and neglecting all of their tables for minutes at a time. Food was good, but meat was a bit dry. You receive a lot of food for the money here.

My wife and I went for a drive on a Sunday afternoon and got hungry. I pulled up my Yelp and looked for a BBQ place. So glad I found the Smokin Aces Steakhouse! Definitely an old school Florida hidden gem, this place exceeded all expectations. I ordered some sweet tea, something I normally don’t do, but I had a feeling this was a place to change my ways. Not too sweet, not too much tea, just right for me. I had 3 glasses of it. Then had to start with some Parmesan garlic “king wings.” They sounded good but I was wrong. They were AMAZING - the best wings I’ve ever had. Juicy as heck, you could taste just enough smoke to balance the garlic and parm flavor. Knowing how good the wings were had me excited to try the ribs and brisket. Fall off the bone tender ribs and brisket with just enough chew to make me smile. For sides, I had an order of mashed potatoes and BBQ baked beans. The beans were just ok but the potatoes were awesome. Thankfully my wife ordered the fried green tomatoes and shared one with me. Thick cut like a steak and terrifically breaded with just the right amount of time to cook made me VERY happy!! We took a piece of banana cake home because we were stuffed!! We ate it as soon as we got home and it was delicious, with a gentle balance of cake and banana flavoring with just enough frosting and moistness to make it throughout the whole piece we shared. When I want wings, this will be my place from now on, even though it’s an hour from home.

Amazing. We were looking for a BBQ place (we are not locals), and this one is a gem. Food was fenomenal since the appetizers to the main entree.

Smokin Aces was good barbecue for sure! We had a great dinner! I enjoyed a burger and my husband had barbecue. Meat had great texture but was lacking a little in flavor. Service was a little slow for a relatively empty restaurant but not terrible.

The BEST bbq!!! Anytime we have family or friends visiting we always take them here! We always come here for bbq! We love it ALL!! Have never had a bad experience!! Good is out if this world, staff very friendly, professional, on top of everything and make you feel like family! If you have to it will be well worth the wait! I’d eat here every day if I could!!!

Food was very good. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient. Not fancy, just basic hometown feel. We're not local and we were first time visitors but will return.

I must say that after reading the reviews for this place I just had to try the wings, and I will admit they did not disappoint. They were so so good!! And I also tried the ribs. Cooked to perfection. The meat just fell of the bones. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful assisting me with me first visit. To my delight, everything was delicious!!

I took two of my favorite people out to lunch on Saturday, and we enjoy finding out-of-the-way places to try. We found Smokin Aces. My idea of the perfect vacation would be to center it around visiting various barbecue joints, but since we live in the Tampa Bay area, we don’t have to anymore. Their St. Louis ribs are so tender, fall off the bone delicious, that we didn’t even think about using sauce. One of us had tried the Angus beef brisket sandwich, and she enjoyed it immensely. We also had french fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. These were also delicious. I think their lemonade might be made from scratch and was just the right combination of tart and sweet. We will be back!

This was our first visit to this spot, and definitely will be back! BBQ dinners are fantastic. Nothing special, different, on the choices here. Your typical BBQ offerings. That does not mean they were not all excellent. Observed several burger plates come out, and look totally appetizing as well! If there is only one nit pick is that server didn't ask/offer to outline sauce chocies and which was in which bottle. Minor issue, but another server did offer this info to several other tables. We figured it out our selves which is why I am not making a big deal over it. Hint for the next time. Definitely will be back for ribs and other BBQ choices in the future. I am sure their burgers are fantastic, but with Culvers just down the road. Thats a hard sell to divert from Culvers. (Yes I can hear the uproar back there! Again I am sure their burgers are as good if not better than some "chain" place. BUT We have to come to Culvers in PC, same route then left for Culvers or right for Smokin, since they haven't yet gotten to my side of town.) Will definitely be back. Can't go wrong here, at least BBQ wise from our visit.

I love this restaurant, i visited them all the time when they were just a food truck at Keel and Curly. The staff is great and the food is even better

This is an awesome place to eat! Their catfish can't be beat! We eat there quite often and food is always consistently good.

The food was absolutely out of this world once again. I would highly recommend the chicken wings and ribs, but you won't be disappointed regardless of what you order.

Hole in the wall right off of the highway, food was very good and service was good, atmosphere is so so. Very good selection, we had steak and it was good cut cooked just right. Surprisingly good overall.

This was quite good and the portions are quite large. Not the best BBQ I've ever had but it was still very very good. Our service was excellent and we enjoyed the back patio seating.

Very nice people, awesome food. Awesome fried catfish. Great ribs, brisket, pulled pork sandwiches. Just an older style down home bldg and atmosphere. But great food, friendly people. Very good coleslaw, not really mayonnaise-y which was good. Very good beans, tender a little spicy. The collards were great and spicy.

Delicious. Had the platter with 4 different meats. Brisket was very tasty; chicken was smoky and very tender. Pulled pork was super tender, moist and delicious, but the spare ribs were the best of all. Sauces were spicy and delectable and beans were hot and yummy. Gotta look for it, but it is a destination for sure - right off I-4.
