The Strawberry Hut is a restaurant in Plant City, FL a known for their Cuban sandwiches. The vibe is entirely outdoors, and has a few benches to eat at. There’s a cat that comes around that is extremely friendly. The service is also friendly, although they misheard my order and got me a sandwich with just cheese on it. However, the food is very good, at a good value. The average breakfast sandwich is around $4, and the taste is very good: I like the taste of the cheese, bread, and the sausage. Overall, I would recommend stopping at this place.

Voted best Cuban 13+ years in a row?? I'M DOWN!!! I was recommended this place by a coworker and I'm thankful. I love the feel of the order window and pick up window type restaurants with outdoor seating. I got a cheeseburger and Philly cheese steak Cubans this time and neither disappointed. We also got a strawberry shortcake and oh man this thing was good!!! Finished the meal with a strawberry and a chocolate shake. I'll definitely frequent this place. If you're in the middle of nowhere and find the spot you definitely need to give it a shot.

This is a busy little place in Plant City, Florida. It provides 4 large tables for outdoor seating. 3 of the 4 tables have covered awnings over them. We usually get the pressed Cubans with everything on them. I think a 6 inch Cuban with a small bag of chips and a small drink is only around $5-$7 dollars.

Great Cuban sandwiches and Shakes. Didn't care much for the bean soup which was greasy.

This is a really good cuban with fresh bread. The prices are more then reasonable. The Plant City location is better than the Lakeland location. I will always come back.

Such a great place to stop and grab a Cuban and a Strawberry Shake. If it’s busy you may have a little bit of a wait and if it’s the summer you may get hot but I promise this place is worth it.

I looove this place! The food is amazing i have family in FL and every time i come i always go to the strawberry hut. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out hot and fast even when they are slammed!

I was going to strawberry hut sence they have opened... Always got the same thing. They hire new people that didnt know what they was doing.. Last time i ate there . There was Saran wrapp in my sandwich.. When i told the owner i was told to never come back!!...

This place has been a staple in Plant city and for a good reason. The Cubans are stellar and the soup, perfect. If you like homemade ranch dressing on a salad then look no further. I have been coming here for 15yrs and the food is consistently Great!!!!!! Shakes , salads, Cubans and even breakfast. You can even get breakfast at 6:30 am and lunch to take with you if you want, which is good for gu s who work on the road and nowhere to eat. THANK YOU STRAWBERRY HUT FOR USING QUALITY INGREDIENTS

The Strawberry Hut is a Plant City Staple. Good Cubans and great service. If you’re looking for a good sandwich than this is your place. The cubans are your typical Tampa cubans. I like the fact that they offer 3 different sizes for the sandwiches. we ordered the regular cuban, turkey cuban and the steak & cheese. All delicious!!! The milk shakes are really good. My favorite is the mocha milkshake. The service is very good rather you order online or at the place. The place is nothing fancy but there is covered seating for those that want to eat at the location. I highly recommend this place.

Had my first ever Cuban sandwich at the hut a little more than 2 years ago. Best Cuban sandwich I’ve had. I have tried some of the best recommended Cuban sandwich places in Miami recently and I don’t think they were nearly as good as Strawberry Hut. Key West I had a good Cuban but still not as good as the Hut’s. I fell in love with Cuban sandwiches because of this place. Friendly service and amazing strawberry shake too! I can’t wait to come back!

Best egg sandwich and great Cuban sandwiches in addition to the best malted you'll ever taste. It's wonderful to support a local hole in the wall business that does such an excellent job. The prices are great too

Your typical Dive restaurant! Their Cubans have been rated number 1 for 13 or more years, and I can see why! Not quite the traditional Cuban as it also has salami on it, but a GREAT addition! As in Plant City, I HAD to try a strawberry milkshake. It was loaded with fresh strawberries. If I hadn't been driving while drinking it, I would have taken a picture of the strawberries at the bottom. My only disappointment was the bean soup. It was loaded with beans, ham and chorizo, however there was a greasy film on it. There is no inside dining, just covered picnic benches. Service was a little slow considering there were 4 people working. Call ahead orders seemed to be VERY popular.

Great sandwiches, this place is known for their Cuban but I think the Cheese Steak was better.

I don’t usually write reviews, I usually don’t even eat Cubans. But wow this place is good, I just got a Cuban and a shake. Best Cuban I’ve ever had an the best shake I’ve ever had. Will definitely return. Thankful it’s just at the front of my neighborhood.

Food was great, the staffed was kind of rude. Had one window closed cause of computer issues and they did not make that clear to people creating two separate line. Which caused some stress when they rudely deliver the message to us They rushed through taking my order, were all in a mood, and it just made the whole experience annoying. Their bad energy was spewing out of the window and on to the people in line. I paid for my food and when I asked to have my water before my food she rushed me out of the way to help the next person and refused to hand me a water bottle after being in line for 20 min, just told me I had to wait for my order. Might have caught them on a bad day but for my first time here it was not a pleasant experience at all due to the attitude and atmosphere of the staff

Excellent sandwich joint. The kind of sandwich I've been looking for in the US. Atmosphere would've have been a two (simply because its primarily a kiosk with outdoor seating - which isn't a criticism), but as there was a biblical rainstorm when we there, 4 is appropriate.

Great food, great staff, very helpful, and quick on their feet. Outdoor dining and love how popular it is. As a Realtor I am on the road a lot to show my clients properties and both my client and I stopped here to grab a quick lunch and we absolutely loved the sandwiches they made.

This is a great Cuban sandwich stop with a few tables outside to eat at ....this time we went early about 10 and they had a breakfast menu.... (i did not know) we ordered an egg & cheese biscuit, and 2 six inch sausage egg & cheese Cuban... delicious...and a Texas cinnamon roll... around 15$ good deal and a surprise because I do love the Cuban sandwich....

Strawberry Hut has always been a favorite of ours. It’s convenient off if I-4 and has never disappointed. My kids love it as well. The Cuban all the way pressed is the one we normally get but everything is amazing. Great milkshakes as well. Thanks for such great food at a great price!

Everything was perfect. I brought my daughter and grandchildren and ordered Cuban sandwiches, Spanish bean soup and sweet tea. We ate outside at the tables and everything was clean and the lady cleaning was very upbeat and super nice. Enjoyed everything about our visit and the food was great.

Very good! Except drinks always have a funny flavor. Either bread or Spanish bean soup taste 😆.

For most let me say I have been coming here for 7 years now… I don’t know why it took me this long to make a Review. Their Side Salad is bigger then a Normal Side Salad & im in Love, i would Not go any where else. Paying $3-4 dollars is a great price. Thank You for making it taste delicious as well!!! This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in all of Plant City. Owned by a local family they do Plant City proud. Their sandwiches are always fresh and always prepared the way you ordered them. They do not skip on the meat portion and the prices are very fair. They also have some great shakes. I have been going to the Strawberry Hut for years and I hope they never go away or change the menu. You may have to wait a bit for your order if you didn't order ahead during the typical busy times because apparently lots of people agree with me on how great this sandwich shop is. The app asks to rate the atmosphere, well that all depends on the weather outside; there is no indoor dining here, yet. But word is they will be opening dining in the building next door. This sandwich shop is worth the trip and the wait. Call ahead.

This location is the VERY BEST of all the Strawberry 🍓 Hut locations. They just do it better here‼️ Now to be fair... I have nothing bad or negative to share about any other Strawberry 🍓 Hut. I always receive delicious food from all of them. I would rate all of the other locations 4☆ BUT this Plant City location is simply their BEST of the chain & the staff always has a waiting line to be served during feeding times. LoL 😁 😆 🤣

My cousin, Terry, brought a party tray to my wedding yesterday. They were a huge it!!! My 88 aged mama with no teeth totally enjoyed them and was even able to eat the bread!😁👏 and she loved the ham you used too because it wasn't to salty for her. We will be visiting y'all in about 2 weeks driving from Town and Country to bring back a party tray. Thank you for being a part of making our day special 💕

Strawberry shake = A+, but the Cubans were disappointingly flavorless. Not exactly bad, but not good! We got the original & Turkey. Meat very cold despite being hot pressed. Hardly any mustard. Good quality bread. Nice staff and outdoor eating benches.

My sandwich from here was very good. Their fountain drink taste gross like they haven't cleaned it in a long time. I wouldn't recommend the fountain beverages. The sandwiches and food are good.

I now understand why they have been awarded Best Cubans 13 years in a row! W.O.W. I ordered the 4 inch turkey Cuban a side salad and strawberry shake, yes it took 30 minutes to get my order and very much worth the wait. This location is open 6 days a week 12 hiyrs a day and the staff are AMAZING!

Very good Cuban sandwiches and probably the best strawberry milkshake in the region and as this is the strawberry capital of the world, that's saying something! Only downside is, it takes a little while to get your food, and they only will give you a small size milkshake because they're so popular the demand can't keep up with their ice cream machine I guess... So bit of a bummer there.
