Made fresh meal. They had burgers and salads on menu. Wifi access was strong plus too. Parking lot was clean. Tables had good spaces between for physical distancing for all. Not sure about mobile ordering options.

This place was worth the drive from Tampa! I’ve heard of Wayback burgers, but I’ve never actually been to one. If I could remember all of the names of the crew that worked that shift I would shout them out by name! Brodie only stood out because his name was on the receipt lol…he not only worked the grill, but also handled the register. Very impressed with the composure and work ethics everyone possessed. Despite our extensive order…their customer service was superb! They obviously are short-staffed. However, just the small crew present during those hours were great. The bathroom was clean, the restaurant was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. The best impossible burger I’ve ever had till this day and easily the best Mac & cheese bites as well. First time here and it was definitely a 10/10 experience. Thanks Plant City Wayback Burgers!

Burger has NO flavor at all. I'm a burger connoisseur and have tried just about every burger joint in Tampa Bay and wish better for this one. Only good thing is it's cooked fresh to order but doesn't taste like anything. The restaurant and staff are nice though.

The burgers are awful. We felt that they were dry and tasteless. Pickle fries were burned and didn't include the sauce. Got take out and that was awful. I ordered bacon and mushrooms and when we got home realized that there were neither even though they charged extra for the bacon. Went the next day to get a refund and let them know what happened. They couldn't have acted like they cared less. I was astounded at the treatment.

The Burgers are Fresh & The buns are very soft. Staff is friendly

First off hot dog was a chilli cheese dog that had no chilli or hardly no cheese horrible for what I paid Sams club have better hot dogs Then the burger (where’s the beef) nothing but lettuce and tomato I wanted crispy onions as u can see barely just sad when u pay your hard earned money and I gave them a tip 😡😡😡 (plant city location) check your food before u leave

Best burgers in town! Cheese curds are delicious. Topped it off with a caramel marshmallow shake! Will be back! So good! Excellent service!

Very juicy burger is like dinning back in the 60’s

First time eating here and I must say, I am impressed. Staff was super cool and accommodating with suggestions on what to eat, and the food was amazing. That and they offer military discount. This place gives you everything 5 guys does but at a way better price. My bill was $37 for 3 large and hungry dudes. Will definitely be back.

The burgers were ok no flavor. The chicken sandwich was so over cooked it was burnt!! Charge $9 for a sandwich then burn it and serve it?!?! Never had a burnt fried chicken sandwich before. The fries were undercooked go figure. First time trying here and would not return. Had really high expectations but totally disappointed. So reached out to Wayback as asked below and they never responded nor took my review serious so now a 1 star!!

I’ve ordered from here twice while at work and I have not been disappointed so far. The first meal I got was the Rodeo burger with chili cheese fries. Great portions and flavor! The second time I got a classic (cheese) burger with mac&chz bites. That was one of the BEST lunches I’ve had. I even saved some for my bf so he could taste it. I hope they keep the same quality forever.

This was my first time at Wayback Burgers and I will definitely go back. I found it by accident while on my lunch break and decided to give it a shot. The burger was hot, delicious, and cooked fresh after I ordered it. There was a bit of a wait, but well worth it. The fries are the rough cut fries with skin on, and they were also hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

The food was very good. I liked that they had Tater Tots. The staff was friendly. Atmosphere is typical fast food and decor, but they did have some great music to listen to. I will be going back.

The caramel marshmallow shake was the best thing I’ve had in a while. It truly tastes like a marshmallow freshly removed from the bonfire. The burger was juicy and looked appealing. The fries seemed pretty fresh; not greasy like fast food or thawed out. More like someone cut potatoes and fried them today! They were slightly cool when they got to us but I can appreciate that when you’re cooking something fresh it’s hard to time everything for a fairly large party. The restaurant itself was pretty clean, including the restrooms. Overall we had a good time.

We tried this place for the first time today and we didn't regret it. The burgers are amazing especially the fact you can watch first hand how they cook it and to know that it's all fresh meat is a major bonus.

TL;DR everything was excellent and service was worth writing a novel for. Go here. Enjoy it and if it's not perfect, they got you. Visiting from Orlando and went to Dinosaur World today. After a fun, but hot, morning, my friends and I needed a place to cool off and eat. One of my friends has a medical condition requiring food accommodations and, knowing the burgers were made fresh here, was all we needed to know. It was 15 minutes out of the way from our drive back to Orlando but that didn't matter since he could enjoy the food. We had a little hiccup because one of our shakes didn't taste right. They remade it, no questions asked, but then it still didn't taste right. It was refunded and we got a soda, again, no questions asked. The manager on duty, Alexa, was very patient with me trying to explain why the shake didn't taste right and I convinced her to make one to try, she did and agreed. Then she was very patient when I questioned how the refund was processed because the total didn't sound right. We figured it out. I have 2 jobs, one is at a restaurant. I know sometimes things just go over your head when you're tired and had a long day. I genuinely appreciate the service I received today. Between my friends and I, we had 3 burgers, 2 shakes, two sodas, onion rings, tots, and fries. Besides the one shake, it was all absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to come by here again. Thank you to the whole team.

One star to discourage anyone who hasn't been and looking for a good burger. Love a good burger...not the place to get it. Quality of the beef below average. cooked awfully. Our orders were messed up, milkshakes tasted like burnt shake blender, no exaggeration. Cherry on top was the customer service which was sp below average. Not trying to he wowed here, just a normal person seeking good experience. Honest review.

For my first time going it was pretty good. Food was great, everything waa as made to order which i love! service was great, staff was very friendly. atmosphere was great, its like a modern day 50's soda pop shop! pricing was reasonable as well.... I like the fact that you can literally build your own custom burger. Definitely going back!!!!

Wayback burgers is a burger joint chain. This one is in Plant City. I did not like the vibe. Felt dated and the chairs were uncomfortable. The service was lacking. The cashier was new and had someone help out. The soda machine did not work. Despite everything bad, the food was still good. The Cheeesy had a good texture, was cooked to perfection, and the cheese made it very good. The fries were minimal, but they still tasted good. Overall, bad service, good food.

Just ate here for the first time. Awesome experience. Clean, well decorated, awesome, friendly staff, slightly high prices but not for the quality. Fresh food, not that processed garbage. We had their signature burger and fry combos and we were very pleased. Definitely going back.

Great service an atmosphere here, I remember when I came to get the secret menu item. Cause I like food challenges. Even though it's challenge days are gone. The triple triple triple a nine pattie tall meat stack with cheese lettuce tomato pickle onion an ketchup an mustard if I remember correctly. Man it was so good, I'd definitely come back to have again. I do recommend the normal size portions do.

I have been here several times no issues but last night was horrible!! I called in my order 30 minutes before they closed!! I still had to wait once I arrived to the restaurant. There was a group of 3 there waiting too. I paid for my food then I was watching. They almost mixed up my impossible burger with a regular burger. (I am allergic to meat) I said something to them and the next thing I know they gave away my fries and had me waiting as he dropped new fries. The cheese was missing too. Then this dude tried to hand me my burger as if I was going to eat it while I wait for the fries? WTH! The other guy told him to stop trolling me. There were too other people working but he has a bad attitude which mad me have one too. This young black kid was using harsh chemicals spraying down everything around the food ugh. Did not wash his hands then put on gloves to serve my fries!! I got home my burger was soooo soggy I could not eat any of the veggies too much sauce so I ate a few fries and a piece of the burger and throw it away. The Mille shake was melted and gross too I paid 19 some odd dollars for the grosses food ever!! I have been sick this was my first meal. I will never buy anything else from this place. You need to hire people are customer oriented and know that closing process of a restaurant and not use harsh cleaning products while service customers. I want a refund I would give a negative review if I could.

We stopped by this place while traveling because my hubby wanted a real hamburger for lunch. Never heard of this place, but the Google reviews and photos said it was pretty good and they did not disappoint! I got the Classic burger and OMG it was soooo good and super messy which is a sign of a good burger. Glad we decided to eat there instead of eat while on the road. LoL! We've already made plans to stop back by on the way home from our vacation just to get another burger and try out their shakes. Definitely give them a try if you're in the Plant City area!

Great food, very nice crew. I have never had a bad experience here. That's rare now a days! Went there today 5/10/22. WOW have things changed. New cashier needs to be trained properly. I ordered a classic single then I said make it a double and put the extra patty on the side please. She needed help for that. From the grill the girl told her" put it in the notes." She did. Then a regular order of fries. I also ordered a single with cheese and onion rings. I was charged for 2 doubles and an extra patty. Another employee interviened and gave me a dirty look trying to shut me up. She knew just what I wanted. So now 2 crew members knew what I ordered. Since it was already cooking on the grill I said my fault leave it like it is. Some other woman came out from the back and just looked at me. If she is the owner or his wife or the manager she should be retrained as well. The first crew member that knew what I wanted them proceeded to tell the employees " what she should have said was". Well please explain to me why both sandwiches were doubles at least one should have been a single since that is WHAT I ORDERED. So very sorry that I don't know how to order at Way back Burgers but it will be no problems as I won't be back. If you feel the need to over charge customers and then say they don't know how to order them you don't want my business and you will get what you want or at least your employees. Sorry they feel that way but 5 guys is just 15 min away from me and well worth the drive. That is where I will be going from now on. I have been going there since you opened and always happy . I know how hard it is to find good people as I have been in this industry for 40 years.
