This place is adorable! What a great place to visit while in Lakeland. We were able to eat, charge our phones, camp out for a bit, relax for a bit, and overall recharge! The Rainy Day Lemonade I had was delicious 🤤 probably one of my favorite drinks I’ve ever had ever! I didn’t love my latte or the dopio that I had, but the food was really good, and the salad was really refreshing! I’d definitely like to visit the other locations!

Nice little coffee shop/cafe. The coffee wasn’t unique, but was very good. They also had yummy baked goods and great sandwiches (went there late afternoon for some studying). Roomy interior and an outdoor seating area as well. Nice place to visit if you need a pick-me-up or just a place to relax.

I've been eating here for years. They have great food, great drinks, great vibes! Truly a stellar pillar of our little Lakeland community. Local goods such as teas, clothes, and honey sold here. If you try a drink and love it, come back to taste it often! The drink menu rotates with the seasons.

I love everything thing about this place. The ambiance is calming, the music perfect. Coffee is crazy good and my kiddos love their shakes. My Greek salad was one of the best salads ever! The potato salad was a neato touch and I would drink their vinaigrette!

This place lives up to the hype. We stopped in this morning for a breakfast sandwich and a frappé. Immediately we were greeted with a mouth watering aroma, and several friendly smiles. Not only is it super cute and clean inside. The staff was kind, and prompt. The food was wonderfully executed and the drinks were exactly what I had envisioned. Definitely coming back the next time we are in town.

Stopped here for my first time this weekend, and will definitely be back! The coffee shop is super cute, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their specialty drinks are delicious. Definitely try the pistachio baklava latte while they still have it!

Good coffee and good food options. Food is a little expansive. The place is good but it often noisy. The menu is kinda different in downtown and the library spot. The service is good. Idk if I recommend it to work.

Amazing place for all meals of the day. Great for breakfast, fabulous for lunch and good for dinner. Reasonably priced, conveniently located in downtown Lakeland. Their lobster bisque soup is delicious. We also loved their strawberry tartine as well as other sandwiches. Can’t go wrong with their coffees either. Sophisticated place with long lines and friendly service.

This place is great. The staff was very nice and attentive. They helped us with ordering and brought our order to the table. The turkey sandwiches, ceaser salads and lobster bisque were all very good. The Matcha was a bit milky but the Iced Latte is great.

Always great customer service! We got sandwiches and the portions were great for the price. Nice and fresh. The drink menu is also really diverse, too. Highly recommend it but if you come before 10AM prepare to wait in a line - it is worth it, though!

The best place in downtown Lakeland for coffee and a hearty breakfast. The place was busy, yet the service was fast and friendly. There are plenty of tables to accommodate and the atmosphere, clean and inviting. If you plan on visiting the weekend farmers market, going here first for coffee is a good idea.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch located with a view of the park as you sit outside, and enjoy your day. I ordered the Banh Mi sandwich. As you can see from the pictures, it looks good and it was delicious! Seriously a tasty and satisfying. Topped it off with a tasty Carmel Frappuccino.

Black & Brew was a pleasant experience. Staff was friendly and efficient. The outside sitting area is a nice place to have conversations. Inside, they do have music playing. The almond frappe was delicious and more on the sweet side.

If you are looking for a lite meal then this is the place. For a larger guy like me, I always leave hungry. My sandwich seemed to highlight the pumpernickel bread rather than the pastrami filling. While it was good, it lacked in amount for price.

I got the Matcha bowl and a coffee for breakfast here both tasted very good. Presentation was nice. Employees were all friendly and efficient.

I love the Lakeland area, if it was not so far from Disney (traffic is a killer) I would move here! The people, old growth, huge trees, lots of shade, the downtown area and this is where you will find Black and Brew coffee shop. This day had quite a line but it moved fast at 9:30 am, we parked almost within view of the cafe, there is plenty of free parking, watch the signs, in this adorable town with their Saturday am market! My hubby, friend and I placed our order within :05 of being in line and within :15 had our food. A few tables outside if you prefer and twenty plus inside. My hubby and I shared the biscuit sandwich and yogurt and we thought, eat the biscuit quick or it falls apart (gets a bit soggy). At $5.75 it is reasonable and the mix of the Buttermilk biscuit, egg souffle, pimento cheese, green tomato relish was delicious. The Matcha Bowl for $5.75 Matcha and local honey infused Greek yogurt, strawberries, banana, coconut, and house-made granola was much too sweet for my taste but my friend really enjoyed it. So it depends on your tastebuds;) Add a latte and a few cups of coffee and that was our breakfast. If you are looking for a heavy breakfast this is not it. More of a snack? Perfect! The folks that work here perfectly polite. I will note that the special drinks of the day, they had to take two, maybe three off the board while we were there and that seemed kind of early for a busy Saturday?! But perhaps they had them up all week? Go, enjoy and then head on over to the Farmer’s Market, Born and Bread Bakery or Circle B Bar Ranch for a walk!

Stopped in for brunch and I am so glad we did! They serve everything from breakfast to dinner. Great salads, sandwiches and soups. The espresso drinks looked great and the people working were all so friendly. The decor is clean, yet cozy and inviting. Highly recommend to come for brunch/lunch.

Great food! It was the most pleasant day when I visited, where Black & Brew's outdoor sitting made it even better! Their White Chocolate Frappe is so good!

The place feels homie. I ordered the Grinder and a Latte. The sandwich was very fresh and the portion of the sandwich is huge! The coffee was excellent and fresh! The ambiance of the place is relaxing and the employees who take your order were professional and very knowledgeable about the menu.
