This place has a great atmosphere. Wasn’t impressed with the latte. Was excited for it considering there were good reviews. Not sure what the issue was. Lots of tables with umbrellas outside. They also have a pretty big food menu for a coffee shop.

This is definitely the best coffee shop in Wesley Chapel! The food and coffee are always amazing, the service is always wonderful. The people who work there definitely make it special. Everybody is very friendly and makes you feel like home. Perfect for getting together with family and friends, working or just reading a book.

Coffee was great, very STRONG, service was excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. They are in the location of the old Degaje coffee spot at The Grove. A definite upgrade in my opinion. Menu is massive, and lots of options. Again, service was top notch.

This business used to be Degajé Local Market. If you miss the chill atmosphere friendly staff, and tasty drinks and food, you'll be happy to know this place has that in spades! The interior has been modified to have more usable seating space, many with outlets (look under the window seats!) It's full of rustic textures and bold warm colors, and the added loft area by the counter with sacks of coffee beans helps dampen the echoing noise of customers and the kitchen. Speaking of kitchen, although the Mountaineer and Share coffee is no longer served here, the coffee beans used are flavorful and robust, with a deep fruity aftertaste. The menu has been adjusted to a graphic that shows the composition of each drink. If you are tempted to ask what the best is, the answer is rightfully everything, but I suggest starting with a latte, and adding a sweetener to taste. If you're the type of cafe-goer that wants to say for a longer time with more food options, you'll be happy to know the food menu was greatly expanded with many breakfast-like and lunch options. The pastry menu has been simplified, but everything compliments the coffee drinks. While it's true the old cafe was a gem in the north Tampa Bay area, this successor brings it's A-game. Whether you're looking for a new place to grab a premium espresso drink or spend time unwinding with good vibes this place deserves your curiosity.

This review only covers their espresso coffee drinks. Their espresso drinks are as good as it gets! The espresso is bursting with flavor, slightly acidic without being like citrus, roasted, without tasting burnt, proudly, Colombian, and as good as it gets. I’m basing this on four visits over a two week vacation. It is a 30 minute drive from where I am staying, and worth every second of it. If you are anywhere in the Tampa area, you owe it to yourself to get this place a try. I will be very surprised if you are disappointed.

One of the best coffee experiences we have ever had and it is consistent. They roast their own beans and extract with perfection. Their meals and treats are also fantastic. Homey and comfy and inviting. Just a great place to enjoy a great espresso/latte/cappuccino.

This was the BEST veggie bowl I’ve ever had! As a frequent traveler to both the East and West Coast, this wins hands down! You can tell they put much TLC in this! I had to get up and thank the chefs!🥰🥰🥰

I recently visited a friend in Tampa, and we decided to visit this place without expecting much of it. However, we were surprised by how much we enjoyed our visit. The atmosphere feels authentic without being cheesy, and the food was fantastic. I got the Mi Tierra bowl and a chai latte. Prices are modest, and personnel were friendly and attentive. It’s probably one of my favorite low-key breakfast/brunch places to visit while in Tampa.

Found this little gem by chance when we visited the market at the krate on a Sunday morning. The food was fresh. The atmosphere was good and it was very busy. I had avocado and toast, and my husband had a ham and cheese croissant. He had a Fresh squeeze orange juice and I had a iced chai latte. We also had a guava pastry . 42.00 . A little pricey but it was good .

As a truck driver (currently) I stopped by to try this Macondo Coffee Roasters, and absolutely loved it. Several things; 1. The egg and cheese croissant sandwich was simple yet delicious. 2. The Gluten-Free chocolate muffin was a nice size and wasn’t too sweet like most deserts you would order at a coffee shop. 3. The triple-macchiato was like what a macchiato suppose to be and not this giant cup of sugar with burnt coffee like a major franchise we all know 😒. The macchiato was 8 oz, you can taste the richness of the coffee and the balance between milk and coffee was fantastic. 4. The girl at the register accidentally overcharged me for caramel flavor which I didn’t recognize till I sat down, so I politely asked them…in return they refunded me for the macchiato and made me another macchiato 🤦🏻‍♂️ I genuinely feel bad now for saying anything. There is zero to complain about here. The food. The service. The atmosphere. Everything is amazing and it was a warming as well inviting feel to the overall coffee shop. Macondo is exactly why we the people as a whole should support small businesses instead of these corporate chains of overpriced overvalued bad quality coffee. Final note: I LOVE that they have an elegant paper menu you can look at on your own instead of reading off a mobile phone or trying to struggle looking at a menu 10 feet away 🎉 If I am ever around this area, I definitely will come again. Thank you 🙏

Macondo Coffee Roasters you guys get 5 stars across the board from me. I will always hype up a location that's dog friendly and let me tell you they are very dog friendly! My dogs and I were met with smiles and great customer service when we walked through the door. The food selection is fantastic and the coffee is so good, I can't wait to go back and try more off the menu. After we placed our order one of the employees came around the corner to offer our dogs some pup cups before bringing out our breakfast. I got the ham, egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious! Thank you guys for being so accommodating, we'll definitely be back!

Checked this place out a couple weeks back and couldn’t believe this gem was literally in my backyard. I had a Chai Tea Latte with an Egg and Cheese Croissant and I was in heaven. The food is amazing and the service is even better. I will definitely become a regular here.

I was looking for a morning coffee and quick breakfast. I searched around me and decided to have coffee and breakfast at Degaje Local Market, I order Cappuccino whole milk and Ciabatta(toasted w/butter). The service was quick and got my coffee as well as bread in 5-10 minutes. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed. I loved the coffee along with the buttered bread.

Went in today. Ordered a sandwich which they specially made for me. It was so good it was mozzarella with tomato on a baguette which they toasted for me. It was amazing. They went out of way to accommodate me and it came out so awesome I told them to put it on their menu. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend them

Awesome place, food is great and really healthy portions if you know what I mean. The staff is what makes the place even though every time I go in is always packed, they take there time and I don’t feel rushed. Everyone working there is super sweet.

Degaje is a part of my weekend routine every Saturday and Sunday for a guaranteed AMAZING cup of coffee. The quality of their food and beverages are consistent and well made every time! I've become a regular and love the personal interactions with the owner and his staff; they make me feel special and taken care of regardless of how busy they are. It's an awesome small business local hangout and I HIGHLY recommend.

Cute little place to get a cup of coffee and something to eat. I got a lunch sandwich since I didn't see they had a breakfast one until after I ordered. My sammie was the BLT and it was really good, as was my cappuccino. I'm happy they are finally open before 10, for a few years that was why I didn't come as that was the only time available for me. I look forward to coming back again to try new things!

The traditional empanadas beef and chicken are very good. The coffee is also very good quality. The atmosphere is fantastic and a great ambiance of a cool coffee shop. The only item I didnt enjoy was the lemon blueberry loaf slice as it was dry 😔 Overall seems to be a good place will try again!👍🏼 👌🏽

Yum food, we keep coming back and just skip the pricy coffee drinks. New owners since 2022 made it an awesome coffee shop with lots of food options. Food: ++Gabo’s salmon wrap is amazing, lots of protein (got some Tabasco sauce too) ++ Salmon burger 🍔 was delicious with lots of avocado 🥑, good bread +The breakfast Fabio’s favorite sandwich was perfect (warm soft bread, smooth combo, runny egg, yum feta & pesto) + Traditional arepa had lots of mozzarella cheese + Cheese steak was interesting too as a pastry/ thin calzone + Açaí bowl was good, served with ingredients separated ++ carrot cake warmed up was awesome +Pumpkin bread was not bad, not too sweet Drinks: - a bit expensive but good Cappuccino was good (small cup but a bit less foam than expected) Other: + sustainable for eating in (no plastic) + cute interior ~ ok service but usually long wait on weekends

My husband & I love their coffee! We wanted to try something else besides Starbucks. Lets just say, we wont be going back to Starbucks. Similar prices, better coffee and better customer service. Can’t wait to try the food options out next time we go. Definitely planning a date ❤️

I definitely prefer the way I make my Americano to how they made it, but I wasn't overly specific in how I take it. The have a pretty expensive up-charge for non-dairy milk (coconut in my case), and barely put any in. I wouldn't go there for coffee again at those ratios, but it's a super cute place for meeting friends. I will also say, however, that the indoor seating is extremely uncomfortable. The wooden benches have a completely straight back and there's not much space between the table and the bench. I didn't try the food, but I may if I return. It was a friendly place for a business meeting, but it was pretty loud when it filled with people. Outdoor music is also loud.

This has to be my favorite coffee shop in Wesley Chapel! Very dog friendly and the staff are so kind and accommodating. My favorite recommendation would have to be the iced dirty Chai. It's a great spot to catch up on laptop work or just chill and people watch. I always bring my dog with me and they always offer him a pup cup! They always make us feel welcome. :)

My first time here after the ownership change. The breakfast was good . Service wasn't up to par. I received no utensils with my breakfast after being asked if I wanted them . No one came back to check on me after the fact. For a new place they should be diligent. Will give it a second chance

Amazing! The coffee is fantastic, the food is decadent, easily a 5/5. The service is fast and extremely friendly. If you are in the area, you HAVE to check this place out.

The first thing that caught my attention was how warmly I was greeted by the cashier taking my order. Very enjoyable ordering process. The atmosphere and aesthetic is really nice! The warehouse shelving system holding up sacks of Colombian coffee beans and plants provides a nice way to not only divide patrons, but hang lighting. Last but certainly not least, the egg-n-cheese sandwich on a croissant was absolutely delicious!!! 😋😋😋 New ownership is really suiting this place well.
