👍👍 Great hiking loops to experience the real Florida. Saw armadillos, falcons, deer, and more. Loved seeing the symbiotic relationship between the natural habitat and working ranch, a pivotal element of connecting the Florida Wildlife Corridor People often mention trails, hiking, miles, trail,

Love this Hillsborough County Park. I have been here to many times to count, once with our horses, many times with my dog an without. With 5 different sections to hike, 4 for horses, 1 just for hikers. The red section is on a cattle farm. Had a whole heard of cattle walk over to check me out. I walked 20 miles this day on the 29th March, 2019 saw almost every inch of the park except the green see section in the back for hikers, I ran into standing water, knowing how low that area is I just came back toward the front. I saw 2 deer, 1 black snake, and a fox squirrel, which was very cool to see and watch. 20 miles 5 hours and 20 minutes later I was on my way home

Hiked as part of the Hillsborough Hiking Spree, with an additional loop around the White trail to make it a total of ten miles. Nice clean trails, moderately shaded, not crowded at all. Some trails are shared with horses.

This is a beautiful preserve with hiking trails. You can bring your dog on a leash, and the trails are well marked, with maps available at the kiosk at the entrance. There are a few benches and picnic tables at long intervals to take a rest. Most of the trails are open to equestrians, so you do have to watch your step to avoid horse apples. I've been twice with my daughter in the past few days, and we only saw a few people total, so we were able to feel alone with nature.

Be prepared for a lot of sun!!! No shade are whatsoever! But beautiful green grass all around. Lots of trails though. We went around 4pm when a storm was rolling in so it was nice and shady out. Very peaceful! Lots of grasshoppers jumping on you all throughout! 😉

We went 3/3 so low 80's during the dry season. Not much protection from the sun so recommend a hat or similar protection. Horses, dogs and bikes allowed. Plenty of wide trails. Barely saw any wildlife or will flowers, which we are in to photography so would like to have seen more. Very dry when we visited so no signs of a swamp.

Lovely place for a winter hike. I only did the red loop as it was approaching sunset, but the trails were well maintained for hiking or horseback riding. There isn't a lot of shade, so this might be a bit rough in the summer, but I enjoyed my walk though the birds were fairly quiet.

Nice, big parking lot for horse trailers. Well kept, wide trails for both horses and hikers.

Bring your energy! First time here, didn't expect for three different trails. If the Lord permits, I do plan on coming back, to finish the other ones! We did the one mile, the other loop trails are around four or five miles, I believe. Beautiful nature a great spot to spend time in God's creation!

Nice hiking trail and easy on the feet. However, be aware of the possibility of getting a tick because of being a horse trail.

We hike about 5 miles every time we go. We do come across some muddy areas, but there is "swamp" in its name! Makes for some great hiking challenges for us old farts! That is what hiking is all about!

Straight forward preserve with well-kept trails; so far as I've seen. I have not been on every trail yet. I pass by regularly and have never seen more than a few vehicles in the parking area. At various points on the trails, there are QR codes about stuff. I've not used them, but it's a nice feature for some folks.

😠 Why are they cutting all the trees down? I hope this property is not going to be sold to become another strip shopping center or something .

👍👍 Walked various equestrian trails and it was amazing! Well kept trails and several to choose from. The ranger stated there are approximately 20 miles of trails for equestrians and hikers. Definitely a must do if you enjoy the outdoors!
