Update 2022 We still love being here (3 years now). It's quiet but lots of friendly faces and activities, if you are looking for outdoor fun (did I say 3 pools &, 3 clubhouses). We enjoying walking and it's about 2 miles to walk the outer edges of the park. Lots of sun and plenty of bug trees for shade. The staff works hard at keeping us safe and addressing any concerns we have. Original We love Tampa East living! Friendly neighbors, clean RV park, responsive staff and reasonable costs. It is convenient to Tampa and.although it is close to I4, because it has lots of trees, it is quiet.

Very poor Maintnance for the facilities. The bath house by my lot had only had 1 shower open the entire month I’ve been here and I sometimes can’t take a shower or have to wait a long time for it to be open.

Park has a lot of potential with a great location. Roads need repaired, large pot holes every where. Lots need to be cleaned and rules need to be enforced. Our site was shady and large, but concrete was not level and held water. Not really a camping/rv resort but a long term rv park.

We travel all over and this place was the worst taken care of place! If Maintence is hard hire fire them all and rehire they all have bad habits of not working laundry rooms disgusting our cloths came out dirtier then when I put them in floors to machines work our room equipment is run down horse shoes not worth advertising so many residents and French Canadians that don’t want to talk to you! Office is not accommodating very short and rude! sue in the office is far from honest! We would never stay here again!

Would not recommend this resort to anyone, front desk staff Bonnie and Sue need to be trained or just stop working there, don’t tell me you have to run my credit if I’m paying cash, apparently this resort is not up to Federal laws. I wanted to stay a year and pay cash up front for the entire amount and was told they needed to do a credit check to see if I make enough as soon as I was told this I was dumbfound and tried to explain to them why do they need to see how much I make if I’m paying cash they said they need to make sure I could pay the lot rent so obviously the girls up front have no clue what they’re doing and are pushing people away daily from what I’m seeing on the reviews! I would stay at a Walmart parking lot before I would stay at the resort!

This park has never-ending issues. Water is always off for repairs, and trash always piled up, people defacating in the pools, bathroom facilities dirty and not functioning properly, and Internet service is subpar. People are allowed to be loud and obnoxious until 11pm, 7 days a week. Park Manager is rude, confrontational, and has favorites within the park. This park is a nightmare!

This rv park was okay. It had all the hookups, has internet but it was down during my stay. (Could happen anywhere). Nice level parking pad. Booking was easy. Staff were good. The park needs work. Some regular maintenance and upkeep is needed. The washrooms need to be completely renovated.

Have been here for two years now, started out as 5 stars and I am now looking for a new place to move to.... once friendly neighbors are replaced with blasting music, trashy yards, and dogs left out on leashes barking at everything--- not sure what happened here but find another place to go if you are looking for a quiet and clean place to put your RV ...

It’s a mobile home village. Seriously not a resort. Noisy neighbors and loud cars. The mgr was nice but that’s about it. It’s so discouraging when you book a Rv resort and it’s not really one.

Beautiful park in seffner/Dover area. We have stayed here twice in the last 8 months. Once in the palms side (older but has many great spots and lots of shade) and once in the oaks side (large concrete spots with many trees). Both have nice pools with laundry rooms off of them. The roads can be very narrow depending on where you are in this massive park. Some areas are older and more established with ponds and double wides, while the newer areas are more accessible for shorter stays. Yard crews are around most every weekend showing great care for their property. We did have an electrical issue one morning at 4 am, the park had someone out in a timely manner to fix the power pole and were very polite on the phone early in the morning. Thank you tampa East for giving us a great experience both stays. Keith Childs Also, we have a 40ft sandpiper destination trailer.. excellent park for big rigs even with the tight roads. Take your time, be aware and you'll get into a great spot here.

Do you want to live somewhere where the manager rides around at nights drinking, going off on residents for personal things said because she's ease dropping on someone at 11:30 pm.? Come here, Tampa east. Wanna live somewhere where you smell dog poop when you wake up, Tampa East is your spot!! Do you want to have power, water, swimming pool, laundry room problems, trashed roads, overflowing garbage cans ? Yep, Tampa East is for you. the glorified secretary Amanda tells you one day she's so depressed she goes home and changes into a night gown and sits at home depressed all night then shows up the next day causing problems because you didn't care to listen to her problems. Like we all don't have our own problems?? 4 months I was waiting for my power to get fixed that was unsafe as per their electrician. It worked fine until they showed up to " fix the power," which totally messed it up then .When we asked when they were coming to fix it, we kept being told tomorrow.. apparently, tomorrow never came because when we moved out, it still didn't work, and that was back in july.. It's now November. I couldn't even run my ac without blowing the breaker on a 30 amp plug. First, they straight unplugged my camper without turning anything off or noticed, leaving my wife, daughter, and 2 dogs with no power for 26 hours. i ran my generator until they came back, and jimmy rigged it.. Or I can move 2 years of belongings to another lot. Lmfao So if your looking for a place where they have different rules for different fools, bad roads, sewage leaking down the roads for months at a time, pools always closed for someone throwing poop in them, power problems and staff that hate their live and show up to cause personal problems then Yes Tampa east is the place you'll love. I also have pictures and videos of everything I'm saying.. so if I need to post them.. then that's what I need to do!

Tampa east is the best! The receptionists and maintenance are so nice and on top of stuff! I had an issue with the washers and dryers and they sent people out right away. Tampa east is very clean family and dog friendly. The pool is really nice the tennis courts are really nice. I actually really don’t want to leave here because I’m afraid nothing around here compares! Book in advance because they stay busy.

The staff here is very friendly, and always willing to work with guests new and old. I’ve been a resident here over a year and always find the staff to be most accommodating even during storm season preparedness. There is no place I’d rather call home than Tampa east Rv Resort !

Love this park! We loved it so much we switched to permanent residence!! Management is amazing and they do their jobs to the fullest!

Moldy mud everywhere, people smoking weed, pools look kind of gross. Lots of people permanently parked there. Laundromat is okay though.

When we go to attend a Gem show around Tampa/Lakeland area, this is where we stay. Even the most expensive RV site on property is reasonably priced, 3nights here equals approximately 1 night in a motel. And the grounds are immaculately keep with all of the amenities an RV'er could want.

Decent RV park, lots are a comfortable size. The pool and playground equipment that were closest to us looked outdated, in need of some maintenance. Also, the showers were dirty, had no ventilation, and nowhere to set your belongings. The atmosphere is quiet, though, and lots of pretty trees.

I love this place. We lived here for 10 months and loved everyday of it. When we moved back to wy we did nothing but miss Florida and Tampa east. We are moving back soon and would not want to live anywhere else in a rv.

Huge sites, if you don't get one with concrete pad the ground is pretty soft and can be muddy. Nice staff, a bit over priced for short stay. Pool was warm.

We had an accident on the way to Tampa, and the administration was super understanding and helpful. With that level of care I cant wait to get to Tampa East my next trip and experience this campground.

The Oaks park is where I stayed. First of all the park was not lit up at All after dark, making it unsafe to walk in the park. The entry sign into the Oaks park is not illuminated at all either! It is extremely difficult to see the entry sign if it's after dark, making it a challenge for anyone who is unfamiliar with the park. The roads in the park are fairly narrow as well which makes navigation thru the park difficult. Needless to say I would not stay here again due to the above reasons as well as personal safety reasons after dark! The staff was very pleasant, but did not warn us that the entry to the park is poorly identified until you are right on the driveway!

We stopped here for an overnight while we took delivery of our new toy hauler. Convenient to all of the stealerships nearby. We didn't get a chance to see the whole park but from what I seen it was fairly nice. As with all Florida campgrounds you have your droves of trailers and fulltime residents. Everyone we met was super nice. The map of the area we were in was marked for only having power and water but after arriving there was all new concrete, sod and sewer connections so they have been upgrading some of the sites. The roads are narrow but you can navigate with a 40' fifth wheel.

I certainly do enjoy living here, at this time, everyone we’ve met so far have been great and helpful. The lawn service is on point, in 4 months only had one of our hoses nicked by a weed eater. The laundry room is a bit out dated and no change machine and you can’t use a debit card. Most of the lot spots are nice, but noticed even as an annual waiting 4 months now for a concrete pad we were promised to look forward to but no luck.

We stayed here for 2 nights while having some work done on our RV down the road (we are not Tampa local). The park was very nice and clean, lots of live in people and I wouldnt say their sites looked junky but some were a little more cluttered that other parks Ive been to. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because when we arrived at 530 they were closed and after hours there is no one to contact, no way to leave a message if there is an issue. A map with our site number was left at the office. Luckily we detached our tow vehicle to go find our site, it was actually in a separate park of the park in a different entrance. Had we not done this, we would have gotten stuck and had to detach our tow vehicle. The camp where the office is is very cramped and hard to drive through and navigate. The site numbers were very confusing and the site that we thought was ours had a vehicle parked in it so we parked in the one next to it. We still dont know if we were parked in the correct one but if there wasnt a spot next to it available that would have been extremely inconvenient and we couldnt leave a message or email to let the management know. When I booked over the phone the woman was kind and helpful but there should be some sort of after hours person to contact at a park this big. Overall it was a great place and we would stay again if we were back in the area!
