Heads up– this park is primarily Astroturf and it gets super hot in the Florida sun/summer. Best time to come during the hot months (mid-April through Mid-October) is in the morning or evening. This is by far our favorite park! So many fabulous options for the kids to play. I love that there is a fence with locked gate that surrounds the entire park to deter people who shouldn’t be there from coming. Also it allows safety so you can let your kids run off and play and no they are “contained“. If you have multiple children it is best to come with multiple hands if you need to supervise them closely as this is a big park. We love that there are things for all ages and all abilities here at the park. The climbing hill and tunnel are a family favorite! Restrooms are limited – two family style bathrooms for the entire park. These bathrooms are not air-conditioned so they get toasty fast! A must do if you were visiting from outside of Lakeland!

Best park around! Lots of options to play on, clean and safe environment, bathrooms and picnic tables and chairs to use. Plenty of parking. Great for all ages. Swings avail for special need kiddoes not to mention many sensory centers to play with also! Perfect park for all kids. Please note...it does get very crowded often!! But it does seem that most parents do keep a close eye on their kids and that is so helpful when the crowd gets big.

Huge playground, all levels of playing and there's a map of the levels for your kids. Missing a sprinkler system. But overall great playground

This playground was amazing! Stopped in while in the area with my almost 3 year old. So many things to keep him entertained, but he loved the sand the most. We spent a few hours here. Definitely recommend for kids

This is our absolute favorite playground in Lakeland! There is tons of parking, the playground area is gated. Surrounding the park is a disk golf field and tennis courts. I love that the park has a variety of walkways, real grass, fake grass, wood chips and some sandy areas. There is a variety of play equipment for little kids and big kids. My favorite part is they have one of those mommy-and-me swing! This park is a must go visit!

They have a nice spacious play ground. Cleanliness is pretty good. Water fountain. Different areas for different age groups. Couple canopies for birthday parties. Lots of seating for parents.

This is definitely a park you should bring the kiddos! They will absolutely love it here. It's like 6 parks in one. Even my 12 yr old had fun running around and getting on the equipment. This park has everything to keep the kids busy and entertained. They even have little private pavilions for parties. Also the bathrooms are spotless! There's even a large field for sports activities and picnics. You can spend a whole day out here.

One of our favorite parks to go to. Very big so have to keep a close eye on the little ones. Your kids will be sure to love it, mine do! 😊

Awesome playground with different areas that cater to different age groups. Lots of different activities from climbing, slides, sand, swings, puzzels, musical play sections, and more to challenge and learn from. Shaded picnic tables and other shaded areas. Park was clean, bathrooms, decent amount of parking. There are two parking lots, one in front of the playground and one that is larger back behind the tennis courts. Other parents are mostly friendly, and everyone generally picks up after themselves. Overall, it is a safe, clean, large playground that is worth several visits.

Very beautiful park, child oriented lots of activities for children’s of all ages definitely one of the best parks for children in Polk county, clean nice bathrooms and all toys and playground equipment was in good condition, multiple parking lots and just all around a well kept clean public park. (My pictures do the park no justice)

A good place for kids to play. They have areas for different age ranges. My only complaint is that they need more shady sitting areas for parents. I may just be nit picking but the heat can be a bit much for us older folks. A welcome addition would be to add some of those misting fans like they have at some amusement parks to cool down the people standing in line for rides. Just a thought. 😁

Best park in town. The only way this park could possible be improved is by adding some aspects of play for handicapped kids. The amount of creative planning and design which went into this park is astounding. It is often times referred to as "butterfly park" because of the butterfly statues in the front of it. My children love to visit Gigi's Korean market up the street and then come play here for hours. The only downside is trying to get them to leave. Pavilions on site need to be reserved for parties or you will not have a place to celebrate. This place stays very busy.

This is an awesome fenced in playground. It has several different areas to play that are rated by difficulty. What a fun find!

Big area with multiple playgrounds of different age levels and activity styles. We went at 10 am, when it first opened, when school was still in session and there were probably only 4 other families there. Most fun we've had in a long time. *The water was turned off due to covid and no one was wearing masks.

We absolutely loved it here. Nice and large area and variety of things for kids to do. Only got 4 stars because a large portion of the space is almost unusable due to lack of shade. It gets way too hot here to not have canopies or trees. Would recommend but sometimes just can't enjoy.

Common Ground is a great park that your kids are guaranteed to love. Hours can be spent here and it feels like a place you should pay a few dollars to enter but it's free!

Best playground I've ever seen! So fancy, clean, diverse playground areas. Beautifully maintained, always lovely people here with their tots. It's big yet inclosed so it feels safe. It's heaven here. Lots of safe, lit parking. It's in a good area of homes and such. Parks used to be a core to take the kids to. But we can't wait to walk around here. Shade from big trees, turf where my little guy is exploring grass lately and can be safe from ants and bugs and dirt. I can sit down with him about anywhere and not get attacked by ants which is rare in Florida! Great bday party pavilions to rent. Would be great for pictures. I just love how many families really get into hands on playing with their kids here. It's a treasure here in lakeland!

This park is very open but also very gated. So many different things to do with the provided variety of equipment from a hammock swing to a two person swing to covered tunnel slides to uncovered slides. I love how they have a toddler playground separate from the other playground. The kids have a lot to climb and explore! We absolutely love this park and it's always so clean and looking new!

Lots of different play areas for different age groups. Some are covered but after 11 it gets very toasty in the summer. Cover any and all valuables that are in your car as the park is prone to break-ins. ( an incident occurred while we were there).

One of the best parks. It gets busy but the kids have fun. It's gated and there are so many little areas of stimulating activity. We drive about 45 min to hang out here and then stay in Lakeland and have a bite to eat. Both my boys 10, 11 enjoy it and have for years. It has picnic areas so it's great to bring some lunch with a friend and the trees and gardens are well maintained and always pretty with blossoms. I feel like I can do laps up and down the walkway trail myself if I want some exercise while the kids play.

Came on a Sunday, not too crowded, place was clean and nice. They did have one slide closed off but other than that. Everything was really nice. Definitely liked the gate and one entrance plus lots of places to sit in the shade.

We will definitely go back! A well maintained park with a lot of space. There are multiple ways to get to the upper level of the playground without having to climb the ladders and stairs. Its accessible to everyone regardless of your physical condition. Nice layout and design, well thought out. We enjoyed it as much as our 5 year old. 😀
