Almost primitive camping here. It's day 5 without clean drinking water throughout the park. We don't know how long the "boil water" warning will be in place. Full time residents are saying that this happens on a regular basis. Having to buy bottled water to cook, drink, brush teeth, etc. Not what we expected from an R.V. "Resort."

The pool is very nice, although I preferred it when it was a saltwater pool. There are many activities for residents. If it weren't for all the dogs, many of which the owners do not clean up after, I probably would have given it 5 stars. I have nothing against pets, but common courtesy should be observed regarding cleaning up after them. The bathroom and showers are nice, library and billiard room is a nice place to spend some time and find a good book to borrow.

Nice clean rv park. Offers long term and short term stays. Nice large heated pool. Many activities for senior adults. Residents here are friendly and down to earth kind of folks. This park adjoins another park on each side and all three are owned by the same group. Residents are permitted to use any facilities in any of the three parks. This means 3 pools. Hot tub. 3 clubhouses. Shuffleboard courts. Etc. Really a very nice setup here and provides good value. Will definitely make this a yearly stop.

Homes are decent, could use some updating, but they are working on it. The people here are awesome! We were staying at their sister park, Southern Charm, but we found the people at Sweetwater SO much nicer.

My husband passed away on October 5th. I called the office and first spoke with Vivian. Very rude not compassion nothing. My husband had been having problems with the neighbor harassing him every time he stepped out his door. The office did nothing about it after numerous complaints. When I told them he had passed away and that I was now legally telling them they could rent the place again because he wouldn't be coming back Vivian insisted I bring key I told her I was in NC . burying my husband. Again very rude never said she was sorry to hear. I mailed the keys overnight $12.00 to my friend to take to Sweetwater and get Rays things. She gets there and they have changed locks. Keep in mind the rent was paid for all of October. Now I requested a refund of rent and deposit. Donna now calls and she is a fast talker. Trying to tell me my right and how they were looking out for Rays interest. I am his wife i know my rights. They werent interested in his interest when he was being harassed. They finally mailed a check to NC address knowing I am in Florida and had the uncommon decency about them to make check payable to my deceased husband. I ask Donna how much rent refund and she said when keys were turned in. I said no when locks were changed.im not letting this go. They owe the money and I'm going to get it. Calling senior rental rights lawyer today. Shirley Hill

My husband and I stayed the month of April. Parks are clean, quiet, friendly. We were welcomed by residents, our accommodation was as expected. We enjoyed the pool, library exchange, and bingo. We also used the laundry facilities(quarters are a short supply so we used the recommended app which worked very well). A situation did arise that was beyond the facility’s control. The staff were exceptional in rectifying the situation particularly Robert McGregor. He went above and beyond from day one even before the situation occurred. From welcoming us, checking in when a couple storms came through, and following up after the situation resolved. All staff we encountered were friendly, making sure we had all we needed, and even encouraged use of sister Sun Outdoor properties when we took a few overnight trips. We would definitely stay again if in this area and were impressed with their dedication not only to their park but for all Sun Outdoor parks.

I bought a vacation home here and love the amenities and the friendly people. Activities, dog parks and swimming pools are shared among adjacent communities.

Concerning Bingo: It is against the law of Bingo for a winner to call back their own Bingo. Do not make a mistake with duplicates and pay some people one amount and then adjust and short others due to not checking for duplicates. Someone visited here from another park and reported that Bingo here was the worst experience she has ever had. I choose not to go here anymore either. Too many conflicts of interest with the administrator who runs the activity. 🤔☹️ There is a way to speak to people and run a nice game that is enjoyable for all. I do not enjoy Bingo here. Be kind and fair when given authority over park activities. It is a privilege to have many activities here and they should be run by the laws of gaming and fairness for all. Concerning dog owners: If your dog eliminates waste, pick it up!! It does not belong left anywhere in our home park! 😔😵 One poor woman had waste she walked through on her parking pad. I am a dog owner and I am appalled that people leave waste all over our parks. I pick up a lot, but cannot use all of my bags to pick up after everyone else! It is nasty to make responsible dog owners have issues with others due to a few careless pet owners. The yards do not belong to the people who rent them. Our dogs have a right to use the grass along the roads as long as we pick up after them. They need to walk. Your keep off signs are supposed to be against the park rules. You do not own Sun Community property but are renters just like we are. A few bad pet owners does not give renters permission to yell at all dog owners for being on the grass as we walk our dogs! Please be kind to those who do not take for granted the privilege of dog ownership! We understand that there are bad ones that make us all look bad. We are not those people and our pets are taken care of and so is their waste. We all live or visit here and are supposed to be kind. Concerning upkeep of our park: Since losing our manager Robin it is disgusting to find debris left on our roads for days. Cigarette butts should be disposed of by smokers, I am tired of picking them up. Mold has been on our pool furniture and I am highly susceptible as a cancer survivor. I have even hauled down my own lounger at times which is difficult for me. When I use theirs I clean my chair before using it and leave it clean afterward, even when using a towel. The pool should never be overheated. It is a well kept pool. Residents use it all year long and summer water is miserably hot. So please stop overheating for snowbirds. The water should be kept a cool temperature. Robin used to make rounds with an employee who would clean debris along the roads, make notes of residents who needed to maintain the lots and keep laundry, pool and hall areas clean. This is not being done at those standards right now. The laundry room in Southern Charm had filthy machines, piles of lint on the floor and a full waste container. I clean before using the machines, but they were much worse than I have ever seen them before. I use these due to city water that can leave clothes dingy. But I never experienced such a mess as I did using them on the holiday weekend. Please clean up your messes. Pick up your cigarette butts along the road and any debris. I have missed a dog bag when I have walked my dog and made the rounds looking for it and picking it up even in the middle of the night with a flashlight at all times. Sitting in your golf cart and walking your dog but not picking up the waste is not being a good patron of our park. I really enjoy all of the activities available here. Our pool is absolutely beautiful, but needs to be refreshing for those of us who live here year round. This is my home. Please help keep it a wonderful place for our little people and dogs family. We loved it here when Robin was our park manager. I am very disappointed. Plus as a responsible person in the park who maintains and takes care, please do not call with threats when we use our paid for storage to park our vehicle while cleaning our lot!!!!! Carrie!!!!

Was there house an pet sitting for residents that lived there. They had nice 3 different fences in areas for dogs to run an play also had places for humans to sit in shade had water spicket with bowls for dogs also disposable bags an garbage cans to put dog poop.. I personally think there should be more shading like Shade Sails or patio umbrella type shades.. in case it starts raining. Residents were friendly and not bothered by furbaby I was as watching. Not enough tree coverage to shade alot of the Mobile Homes in park.

The details are going to be degenerate as that's how the staff behave and treated my family or rather some of us as due to the horrendous treatment my family unit brokedown in ways that we are still feeling And dealing with the fallout that truly the staff should all feel one day so maybe they will learn from the mistakes they make that affect others so unfairly. I wanted to wish all you lowlifes a Happy New Year and I hope you have a year deserved and reserved for the special kind of trash that you all are . Way to go in keeping the stereotype of white garbage in trash cans is still real. Really scumbgags

Nice friendly 55+ RV resort. Not alot of pads for the RV as there are lots of park model homes with year round owners. Lots of activities in the winter months. Recommended

Unbelievable. Given a site you couldn't back into with a pop up camper. Thanks to the neighbors for all coming together to move vehicles and direct me in. This was after several attempts to get help. Arrived at 505pm. Parked at 705 pm. Unacceptable! Wifi advertised, non existent. Sewer advertised, non existent. Sun Resorts, BS! What a joke. Don't stay here.

Love this place Management is very helpful. They have activities like bingo cards bands. Plenty of stuff to do around here. I love the convenience of stores close by.

Staying at sister park Southern Charm in Zephyrhills. 3 Sun parks all connected together make for good times.

Right next to the main road very noisy. The hookups are so far away I needed extensions. Really tight to back in 34 ft motorhome. Definitely couldn't have made it if the site next to me wasn't empty. Road barely wide enough for the RV.

  • 1/5 Michelle W. 1 year ago on Google
I couldn't believe how rude the staff was. I was there with someone else and the way she was treated shocked me. I absolutely would not stay there myself after what I witnessed. Not only that but it's very cramped and several of the roads can barely fit 1 vehicle down it. It would be hard to maneuver an RV through there.

This was a good place to stay! We stayed in our 43' toy hauler and found the roads inside tight but it was easy to get into our site(39). Lots of things to do here and met some nice people.

Just needs a hot tub! Would have given 5 stars if it had one here. Park next door is connected and owned by same group and it does have a hot tub you can use. Great park in all other aspects. Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!

Was very glad that when I called in Aug. that we could get 5 sites in Feb. Staff was nice. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager Bonnie. The pool was beautiful, everything was kept clean. Only 1 Bathroom & 2 showers. The club house was nice, wish we were there for the Valentine Dance but we left on the 15 th. Hope to stay again.

I live here full time and spring/summer times are very quiet. Not many year round people here at all. Pool is big and heated in winter. During the fall and winter there are many activities happening each day.

👍👍 We love this park. This is our 2nd year and we are staying 2 months. We will be back again next year. If you are bored here, it is your own fault. There is plenty to do and everyone is very nice and friendly. They just walk up and introduce themselves. We went to a dance and had a great time. Loved...

🫤 Update; we get to swim at night. Yippie!! Took 5 years to get it done. Manager is still bitter sweet on accessions. I want to enjoy my time here but I can’t due to all the restrictions. I was told to go get a studio if I want to sit outside and do crafts. Park is beautiful with new palm trees and...

🫤 We stayed here for a month and everyone staying in the park is friendly. However, I picked this park because the website photos shows what appears to be a nice size site and that the site features include "cable". Neither is true!!! See photos and note the lack of room we had after setup Also, afte...
