We arrived on Jan 12, 2022 and got our RV delivered to the park. We were there 3 weeks and our camper burnt while we were out doing laundry and errands. The other campers that were around our RV called 911 and then the staff Dave and Chuck (maintenance) went into action trying to help by using a water hose to try and put the fire out. The fire department showed up and we showed up while it was a blaze. The RV family in that park helped us out when we had nothing. Thank you to everyone who made us feel like family and helped us with whatever we needed. Crystal the office manager was also extremely helpful and understanding while we worked with the insurance company. We appreciate you all and if we get another Rv we will be back. Tammy & Bob

Nice crazy camping area outside of Haines City. The lot rent for a month is very expensive. $850 just to park your RV. It's right on a lake. You can watch the sunset from right outside the window.

Needed to drive out from north Alabama on short notice to pack up and move my mom back with us. They accommodated us over the phone, only took the deposit (just in case), when we arrived it was a holiday, and even tho the office was closed, they have numbers listed to call. We got checked in with no attitude about interrupting her off day. The park is clean and quiet. The residents are very friendly and keep to themselves. Park really is centeraly located to almost everything. Our only real complaint is the roads are really narrow and most have sharp turns, but we still managed. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I came here for 6 months and that was 5 years ago. We love the park and the family atmosphere. The park is clean, safe and quiet. It is family owned and the owner Rachel is awesome she really takes pride in her park and her tenants. If your coming thru Central Florida this is the place to stop and enjoy the pool, fishing lake and be sure and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets over the lake.

This campground is absolutely the worst. The only good point was Dave the maintenance worker. He was very helpful when arriving to assist in backing in and setting up the camper. He was also there when we departed to watch for low hanging branches. The office manager Crystal was a nightmare. When setting up a mobile rv technician to work on our camper her response was "We don't allow work on campers on site." We worked around that issue. while the mobile rv technician was on site she made him park 75 yards away. That in turn cost me an extra hour of time added to the repair cost. The water hook up when first turned on came through discolored. After 10-15 minutes it finally cleared up. The sulfur smell was a constant, we had to use bottled water for all of our cooking. We only used the laundry facilities a few times. Stopped using them when 2 residents were in a loud verbal argument. WiFI advertised was nonexistent. Keep your doors and bins locked up at all times. We witnessed several people walking through our site at all hours of the day Calling this place a campground is a stretch. At best it's a trailer park. There are a few transient sites, most where full time tenants with many vehicles parked that were not roadworthy and full of trash, especially pick up trucks scattered around the grounds. We would have left, however could not find any vacancies nearby. Not sure where the pictures on their website where taken. Most of them were not there. Avoid this campground. we will never return.

Older RV Park with some permanent homes and several short & long term sites. Staff and maintenance people are very friendly and helpful. Paradise Island is not on Paradise Island Drive, I've made multiple attempts with Google Maps to get this corrected but they don't seem to be able to get it right.

We lived here for almost 2 years. We had a wonderful experience from the friendly staff to the welcoming residents. If we ever move back I will absolutely move back here. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. The lake views are beautiful and the pool was a boat for kids. Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities.

Great location close to everything, beautiful and quite place. The staff real friendly and always available to help or solve any issue, I stayed for 6 months and the reason I had to leave was to be close to my job, if it wasn’t for that I would it stay there. If I go back to Polk County definitely Paradise island is my place, thanks to Rachel, all the staff in the office and the maintenance crew, God bless y’all πŸ™πŸ«ΆπŸΌπŸ˜Ž
