I love how much they support the community. If you are blessed and fortunate not to require their services then please donate or volunteer your time. We were able to support the community by painting and picking up trash.

Nice covered basketball court, stage area/bandshell, playground. Saw a celebrity there once ~ Could be cleaner. Mr Mangy Orange Cat says there could be more cat food, too.

I remember when this location was being renovated. Although I've moved to various places throughout the county, I still drive through to see how the community center is still thriving. It's a safe place for the community and offers a wide range of activities for all ages.

My children loved it, we have been living in the area almost 2yrs and this was our first time with my 2y/o. The park is very safety friendly and very age appropriate. This place has something for all ages, not just games for children but events for the community. We will definitely return more often.

Went in for an exercise class today, and as always, everyone you encounter seems glad To be there and eager to assist you within their capacity. We are blessed to have an activity enter in our neighborhood of this aliber!

It's nice for a quick stop and to post basket ball if it's a weekday in the unit of the actual community center part is open then it's good other than that if you like basketball this a good place for you not me so much because I don't do bugs and it's a lot of trees over here but other than that it's a pretty nice place.

I love the park it has a stand outside where local people donate books 📚 to anyone who wants to read 😁 more like take a book leave a book (or take a penny leave a penny). Restrooms are closed for some reason 😞 there is a basketball square big enough to play on 4 separate basketball goals. It's pretty wheelchair accessible there aren't many high places.

A quiet peaceful and safe place for my kids.

Despite the area this is a very beautiful park. The playground was landscaped beautifully. I like the fact that it was underneath trees so it was not placed directly in the sunlight.

I am trying to understand why no one answers the phones with ALL of the Tampa Parks and recreation. University Area Community Parks phone state you have to dial the area code.

It's good for kids but it has way to many caterpillars

Park was very nice for kids to play in. Has a nice size basketball court with different sections for about three different basketball games to be played. Also has a community center for those who would like to receive a GED and also other programs. It also has a rec center for the little ones in the front great park and more.

Nice park, I like being able to stroll around the pond and the nature that comes with it. I was surrounded by a ring of dragon flies one evening, it was surreal but enlightening..hope they didn't think I was food😆

They are very Friendly and Helpful! There are a whole lot of Resources for every need imaginable. If they can't help they will direct you to someone who can. There's also a Beautiful Park and a well kept Basketball Court. 🏀 It's very Family Friendly.
