What is happening with Publix. This publix is having management issues. I come in one day the lady at the Deli decide to help every white customer before me to the point that before I open my mouth the white lady next to me when off on her for being an ignorant racist. And today I place an order online not to have to deal with the same problem and an 2 hours later after I was giving an schedule time of 3:35pm for pick up I gave them til 3:45pm to make sure it was done and I get there and they just getting started on my order. Management need to do their job. And both times when I ask for the manager they are not available.

I will not shop at this local Publix ever again. There's been too many inconsistencies. One in particular, I had been sold "days" old fried chicken FOUR times now! And another incident, I was sold chopped pineapple core!! I've lived in this area for 9 years and In all the years prior to moving here, I've never experienced the carelessness of presentations and/or freshness before!! I'm highly disappointed! This is the only Publix I will avoid from now on! I will go out of my way and shop elsewhere.

This morning, I called to place a wing order and received conflicting information over the phone. Initially, a representative advised me to place the order online, which I did at 10:17 am. However, at 3 pm, I received a call informing me that they couldn't fulfill the order. Norma, the deli manager, was exceptionally rude, claiming they had a stack of orders to cancel and falsely stated that Publix attempted to contact me earlier with no response. This was untrue. Furthermore, Norma insisted that we had spoken earlier, although I know this was not the case, as the morning representative mentioned consulting the manager about over-the-phone orders. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I will not be patronizing this Publix for future events.

I would recommend staying away from the produce all together! I bought a cabbage from there and it was full of mold when I cut into it (same day as buying). I bought grapes that were infested with spider webs! And I also bought broccoli that was ALSO infested with little bugs! Three separate occasions all bad experiences.

Well organized grocery and pharmacy store. While their prices are above any other local store, their customer service is the best around our community. The facility is clean and their restroom (male) was well maintained. Their parking lot was clean at the time of our visit. We'll continue to shop at this particular store.

What happened to the big meaty chicken wings that Publix was known for? In the past, no one else could match Publix chicken wings. Now the wings are small with little meat and a 60% price increase. (Reminds me of Pizza Hut, terrible wings). Guess I’ll try Winn Dixie or fast food.

Don’t order deli sandwiches here. I live nearby and order here often. I can’t tell you how many times the staff here had no clue how to make one of their own sandwiches on their menu. Their training here must be a joke. Slow and undertrained staff = terrible customer experience. Save yourselves the headache and take the extra 5-10 min drive to the Boyette or Big Bend Publix and thank me later.

Customer was rude 2 lady at deli. The woman working customer service was NOT customer service material. Didn't have 4 of the 5 things I went for. Not on sale so why not?? Left w nothing. Went 2 another Publix n it wasn't much bttr there. This grocery store is higher priced than necessary. You can go 2 Walmart or Winn Dixie n get EXACT same items n they are between. 25-$1.15 less!! I've been told by a manager of 1 that their prices r a bit higher but it's due 2 the location of the store. I asked how does that work?! He said, with a smile, that certain areas can bear more of a price difference. I said oh..u mean ppl who shop here at this store have more money! He said no no that's not what I meant at all. I asked him, with smile on my face, well then explain what u meant?? He was stumped 4 an answer n as I walked away I told him, those r pretty words but I'm not stupid. He just walked off. I will not personally shop at Publix anymore. Don't really anyway. It just was convenient at the time. Let the Ritchies shop there. More $$ than brains!!

I don't know what's happened to Publix... but the rotisserie chickens that used to be so great now look like scrawny, over cooked pigeons. Overall this store is always under stocked, and shelves frequently sport more empty spots. The Summerfield store at Big Bend Road isn't like that. Overall the selection of products is better, the deli and cheese case is better, and they have an Olive Bar.... why doesn't this store?

Today my deli experience was the worse I have had any Publix. I went on my lunch break to get a chicken meal. They were out of collard greens and the gentleman behind the counter advised me it would be 20 mins to cook some more. I waited 25 mins only to be told by a 2nd person that no it's actually 35-40 mins. I basically waisted my lunch hour. They should know their cook processes better. Also after waiting so long they were now out of wings for my meal. πŸ˜• And the guy acted like oh well. I had to ask him if there was something else he could do to make up for it. He had to ask a manager who agreed for him to give me a chicken tender. After getting home and eating my food, those were the worse collard greens EVER. They are dry... how can greens be dry. This was by far my worse experience at Publix. I'm so disappointed in my lunch. You can tell by the pic...i didn't even eat the greens.

Clean, good store overall. I do most of my shopping here. The service counter however, needs work. If you are looking to cash a lottery ticket for 300-500 dollars, be prepared to be lectured and possibly yelled at. I'll keep shopping here, I'll trade in my tickets around the corner at the publix on boyette rd. Their service counter has more polite people handling the business.

This is one of the better Publix in the area. We constantly go out of our way to this one. Consistently better than the circa fishhawk, big bend, and bloomingdale locations. Great bakers and cake decorators, superb, fast and friendly deli staff who always have the hot food hot and ready to go, caring management team. Huge plus for us, they always have violet crumble in stock.

10/8/22 /noon. Worst experience ever in this store. Stood there waiting to order a sub and was not asked if I'd been helped while 3 people waited on people for hot food. Then sub was made wrong. Then manager asked me if my 7 month old puppy was a service dog.? I take her in with me (harness and leashed in the cart) whenever we go places because I don't leave her in the car. I told her about the service I just received and she continued asking about my dog, as if she was going to say "no dogs allowed" not your friendly service at this location...

I love Publix. Always clean, well stocked and mostly friendly employees. Got some fresh (still warm) Cuban bread and some fresh sliced deli meat and cheese. Took advantage of the olive bar. Also took home a nice big fresh bowl of mixed fruit. As always everything was delicious.

This location should be the standard for other Publix locations! It is always well stocked, and clean, and has a wider selection compared to others I've been to. I was able to quickly find what I was looking for. The cashier and bagger were friendly as well.

Strange as it sounds, this location is my ice cream store. For whatever reason, they have a larger selection of ice cream than my normal Publix. Needed ice cream this trip and found all the flavors I wanted.

C'mon now...y'all know Publix! However, this one always feels like home. I don't mind having to run in and grab something real quick because I know where everything is, and there's never a long wait. Plus, every employee is always kind and helpful. This is by far my favorite Pubs!

There was a bogo deal with a sign in front of it but it didn't ring bogo. A manager went to check and honored the bogo and the publix promise which means I received both items for free.

The store itself is great. Clean and the workers are very cordial. However, i give a 3 star because the customer service in the pharmacy is not so great. There automated dial system gives you the wrong prices of your meds. Not only that. I needed a refill and they never called me when my Dr denied the refill. I ordered my refill 3 days ahead of pickup. I called to check on my status and then they tell me. Since its the weekend i cant even call my Dr. I think I will switch to a dedicated pharmacy instead of a grocery store.

Publix always has great customer service! The store is clean and carries everything you need. They have great BOGO sales. The meat and produce is fresh. The have sushi made in store. The deli makes incredible sandwiches!

This is the only Publix in this area where we have found a handicapped wheelchair. I can't walk the whole store and I'm afraid of the electric chairs. Don't trust my reflexes anymore. I'm 90. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Do wish you'd go back to more BOGOs, especially juices, butter.

I just moved here to Riverview and went to this grocery store and it was a great experience. First, the store was presented nicely with product. It was a clean, well presented, and had everything in stock (no empty shelves). Next, the people were very friendly. When I checked out, the cashier and bagger explained to me about the Publix club and welcomed me to Florida. The only reason I give it a four-start rating is because the isles are very close together and tight. They are not as wide as other stores so there is not a lot of room to move with the carts. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The nice man filling the balloons should be the store manager. So attentive and just real personable. Will definitely be back. Thank you sweet nice guy for filling my balloons.

Publics has a great bakery, seafood and meat dept. Deli has a great selection. Produce is always fresh. A little more that other stores, but you get what you pay for, and with specials and joining publics, it is worth it.

Hands down Publix have some of the best cold cut subs from a grocery store chain. The chicken tender sub with the buffalo sauce is something everybody should try at least once.

As a Publix expert , humbly I take in each new location experience with a "turn on tune in & drop out" approach..* giggles a bit then pulls self back together with purpose to finish rating sid Publix lol ..* clear throat* ... A+, everything u hope that ur Publix experience will be. Cleaner than the norm . If the worst thing that's ever happened to me at this location was getting the woman who made our subs one days words mixed up and therefore thought the very important NO mustard sub was in left hand and right hand did in fact have mustard on it... Welp thankfully my boyfriend's dad is such a good sport Abt the mustard ordeal .. just in general . Of course though my boyfriend rode his bike all the way back there after we just made the trip there and back and toted many things home in our backpacks .. yes he went back to get dad his sub the way it needed to be for hik 2 b able to eat let alone enjoy ... # mustardallergiessuck

Very nice people at this store. It was raining so hard one of the girls walked out with me holding a nice big umbrella so I wouldn't get soaked. She even helped loaf everything into the car. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Publix carries authentic Cuban bread which was really convenient. The employees were very helpful in showing me where to find the Chorizo too. The place was clean and organized, and the cashier and bag person were friendly too.

While some might think that all public stores are the same. This one for us works the best. Both its location, its staff and its product on the shelf is superb. We do sometimes go to the other ones but it's never the same level of enjoyment. I like a nice predictable grocery store experience and the publix at rivercrest is our go to. The only thing that I have needed to go to another store for is different meat selection, but that's also because I'm picky. Other than that, this Publix has fulfilled all needs a grocery store could fulfill.
