Extremely
disappointed
with
the
Deli
Department.
I
ordered
almost
$300
worth
of
food
from
the
deli
so
that
I
could
provide
lunch
for
my
team
of
employees
and
unfortunately
experienced
nothing
but
problems
every
step
of
the
way.
I
ordered
4
days
in
advance
but
a
deli
worker
called
me
the
day
before
pickup
to
let
me
know
that
some
items
were
out
of
stock.
She
worked
with
me
to
pick
some
alternative
items
that
could
be
substituted
for
what
was
out
of
stock.
No
big
deal,
we
got
it
resolved.
However
when
I
arrived
to
pick
up
my
order
at
the
reserved
pick
up
time,
The
deli
worker
said
they
did
not
have
part
of
my
order
because
it
was
out
of
stock.
Not
the
same
things
they
had
called
me
about
before.
I
asked
why
I
wasn't
notified
or
given
the
opportunity
to
pick
substitutions
and
she
said
to
me
that
they
were
really
embarrassed
to
have
to
call
me
again
so
they
just
didn't.
She
then
offers
me
some
substitutions
which
I
agreed
to,
but
obviously
had
to
wait
for
them
to
be
prepared.
She
then
comes
back
and
tells
me
that
she
also
doesn't
have
the
$43
sandwich
platter
I
ordered
because
they
"gave
it
away
to
someone
else".
At
this
point
I
become
a
little
more
impatient.
They
offer
to
remake
the
sandwiches
but
explain
I
will
have
to
wait.
I
stand
waiting
at
the
counter
for
45
minutes
and
I
overhear
the
same
deli
worker
yelling
to
the
sandwich
department
telling
them
to
hurry
up
because
I
am
still
waiting.
After
an
hour,
another
lady
from
the
deli
comes
up
and
tells
me
they
also
gave
the
second
platter
away
to
someone
else.
Not
only
did
they
give
my
first
platter
away,
they
also
gave
the
second
platter
that
they
had
to
remake
away
to
someone
else.
All
while
I
was
standing
there
waiting.
I
honestly
don't
believe
this
happened
because
I
stood
at
the
deli
counter
waiting
for
over
an
hour
and
saw
NO
ONE
walk
away
with
a
sandwich
platter.
I
would
have
noticed
because
I
was
the
only
one
waiting
for
over
an
hour.
She
says
she
is
going
to
remake
them
AGAIN
and
I
told
her
she
better
not
hand
them
to
anyone
else
but
me
because
at
this
point
it
is
completely
absurd.
After
waiting
another
30
minutes,
she
finally
brings
the
platter
to
me,
but
made
completely
incorrectly.
I
had
no
choice
but
to
take
it
because
I
had
a
team
of
people
waiting
for
me
to
feed
them.
I
waited
at
the
deli
counter
for
almost
2
hours
past
my
original
pickup
time
and
because
of
this
all
of
the
hot
food
I
ordered
had
gone
cold
by
the
time
I
got
back
to
deliver
it
to
my
team.
Unfortunately,
my
attempt
to
get
lunch
for
my
team
the
week
of
Christmas
ended
in
embarrassment
for
me
because
I
had
to
give
them
cold
food.
Publix
should
also
be
totally
embarrassed.
No
one
took
any
accountability
for
the
extremely
poor
service
they
provided.
Nothing
was
discounted.
Everyone
just
kind
of
turned
their
heads
and
refused
to
acknowledge
the
terrible
experience.
I
know
this
time
of
year
is
very
busy
for
them,
which
is
why
I
placed
my
order
4
days
in
advance
but
the
entire
situation
was
handled
very
poorly.
I
really
am
very
disappointed.
I
order
from
Publix
pretty
regularly
and
I
will
definitely
hesitate
to
do
so
again.
