    I shop here a lot and always have an excellent experience, everytime. The employees are always professional and kind and the products are easily found. I've never had an issue with anything I've ever purchased here nor have I ever had an unpleasant shopping experience. I did want to mention an exceptional employee this last visit I made. Nate S. was an extremely well mannered young man and went above and beyond for me at the self checkout . He offered help while I was bagging and even watched my cart for me , after realizing I forgot to grab something from the freezer section. I've had an extremely difficult day today and his genuine kindness truly meant the world to me. He helped me see that even through the hard times we can still share a smile with someone. I wish him the best and wanted to say thanks so much for being yourself ☺️ God bless you Nate and keep up the awesome work. If I have any advice for you, it would be to never let anyone change your heart, remain kind, and remain authentic. I'm truly grateful for people like you because you make all the difference in the world. Thanks again.

    I came into the store to get a chicken tender sandwich. I started shopping around. Got a few things. Went to the deli. Ask if they had the sweet and spicy saracha sauce to make a chicken tender sandwich. They said they didn't have any chicken tenders, and it would be about 20 minutes. So I continued shopping and came back to find out that no one in the deli dropped chicken tenders, and it was gonna be another 45 minutes for them. There were other customers trying to get chicken tenders also and were upset about it and left. So I thought under the circumstances, I asked if they could use the popcorn chicken to make my sandwich, and the answer I got was no, we can't do that. You would think under the circumstance by making a customer wait over an hour for chicken tenders that the manager would be lenient and would compensate because they dropped the ball on the chicken tenders but that just shows how much they care about RULES versus CUSTOMERS. They already took away the grill that made great philly sandwiches, and I believe they took away the honey butter press. If it wasn't for the fact for the chicken tenders and the boars head meat, you would be no better than SUBWAY

    Place was clean, service was good but most of all the fruit was fresh. Not like WM whose fruit is always old. Publix always has the better fruit options. Only thing I disliked was some of the prices. But on their defense, prices are high everywhere.

    We are not impressed. We usually shop at the Southeast Plaza Publix and we love the staff. Friendly and very helpful. The staff at Bartow were very rude and not helpful at all. Is not well organize at all. All the merchandise is not together like other Publix. Will not be visiting Bartows Publix again.

    How is it when you order a sandwich and they don't have the meat pre cut, now they refuse to cut it? I literally just stood in line for the woman to say yeah we don't have that pre cut... Ok so? I just said never mind and walked away. I thought Publix was for the customer. Not what the employee feels like doing at the time.

    This Publix is very bad not only bakery and food order people the 2managers there they should be trained well and not argue for their out of stock bread or any thing they both argued with me 35minutes to sell Publix sup chicken soft meat the board on the above says foot long soft breath meat chicken for 6.99.only one person at sub place all toppings ore not even half full and the person said when I asked what kind of bread he says we only have 2 grain breads with wheat and white I only like French. It's Lian or sourdough or just plain roll but know I only can get the choice of the to Publix bread to get rid of them with customers.one first manager said oh we sold out all other bread you can take whatever we have I said know I don't have to than he was arguing I said I will call Publix corporate than he says what can I do for you you said I have to take whatever your store has than he tells the person at deli give her white bread as if he is giving free I said thank you than the deli person making white half bread I said I want whole sandwich and calls other person laughing at me I called other manager he is more worse than other guy I have to listen him the explaining why I have to take whatever they have because they had busy day ran out of bread this is the same 2nd manager when I purchased scratch tickets from ending machine I got 20 dollars short I never seen any stores for 20 dollars make the 70 year old another 30 min and goes in and out in his office he balanced the machines he is going to check cameras I knew he want make me a liar for 20 dollars I am sorry I have to balance tomorrow if I have extra 20 dollars I will call you. I said no you won't but these types of managers in your Publix stores a lot of them in Florida. I am going to put on Facebook to let public know how humiliated about sub situation and loosing lotto mechine 20 dollars .I told them they both at the exit says I have to take whatever they have and if it is a half sub also I should take wow what a great Publix stores in Florida this is in winter haven fl.

    I am disappointed! Got a meal from deli. Ribs are rubber. Mac n cheese is over cooked. Mash pot. Taste like a scraped burnt dish. I'm so sick of these places. Either train better .. or pay attention. And it would help to care! Cause we saw the woman go to the back get some more from somewhere and take it out of a plastic wrap. And saw it was not the fresh one from the pan but it was cooked like a frozen one that's cooked in a microwave!

    I occasionally use this a Publix for lunch when I am working in town. The sandwiches are always made well. I appreciate the self checkout when I only have a few lunch items. I can get in and out of here very fast with something yummy to eat, especially if I order a sandwich ahead of time on the app.

    The store is always clean. The staff are helpful in finding items, check out, and getting groceries in the car. The riding carts are almost always available AND charged (unlike "The Mart"). This is just one of the many reasons we shop there. Their deli bread is always delicious and fresh as are their cakes.

    Even though it's Christmas Eve and extremely busy the bagger in cashier 1 Blake still made sure to spread Christmas joy ! He was extremely kind and I want to say thank you again . Thanks to him shopping at Publix was a pleasure πŸ’—

    Just as always it's a regular grocery store with a tremendous frozen food section. I like a good selection of organic fresh foods, but I didn't find them there. I'm not surprised as it is central Florida. It was a very clean and organized store. Everyone was nice.

    I don't know what happened to this store in reference to the customer service and management in this store in the last several months, I do know it has deteriorated to literally almost nothing unless probed. I was shopping in the store for approximately 35 to 40 minutes looking for a few items and couldn't help notice two managers standing up front behind cashiers talking for nearly the entire time. What amazed me was two of the cashiers were often doing the same and unless a customer made direct eye contact neither ever offered if they were ready to check out or make themselves useful doing anything else. If either manager had done a sweep of the store they hopefully would have noticed that the deli needed attention desperately getting the line down, that several customers, (you could tell by the lost blank searching shelves) needed help including myself, to employees needing to paying attention to customer service and their attitudes, (noticed very curt in deli with customer order). I purposely waited after walking by several times until the managers stopped talking to ask where to find something and then finally to interrupt the cashiers to check out. My purpose having been in customer service, marketing, and management almost all my life to see just how long it would take. I really hope it changes as I do business with the Walgreens same shopping center giving 5 stars reviews consistently, (even changed pharmacies specifically due to their customer service and they know it) and I have given this store a 5 star before but this was disturbing.

    The publix deli must not be training well. Its been multiple times my sandwich was made incorrectly and the sandwhich is very sloppy. Please do better

    Publix is hands down my favorite shopping experience for groceries. The store is always very clean and organized, the employees friendly and helpful, And the meat and produce is very fresh. There is also an online site you can check beforehand to see about the weekly buy 1 get 1 deals and other coupons. Online ahead of time and picking it up already- prepared at a specific location in the store, which saves time, and they also have subs and other prepared foods items for a quick meal.

    I love Publix! This location was pretty nice and clean. Came on my lunch break and ordered a delicious Italian sub from the deli. Highly recommend the subs, and the price isn't bad for what you get. Great quality.

    Not very happy here lately ordering over the phone chicken wings I get for my mother every week since she is elderly I am either directed to the wrong department then I get redirected to who knows where they won't tell their name or department including customer very aggravated and disappointing experience here within the past 3 months can't for Chik filled to open

    A day without Publix is a day without sunshine. Publix Bartow, FL is the best Publix that I have ever shopped. The employees are the most friendly and helpful people. Their service is wonderful.

    The store is very clean and the people that work there were helpful. Publix is sticker shock for somebody who does not shop there. I went in because I wanted sushi for lunch and I'm sorry but this place have the worst sushi out of any Publix I've been to. We did find diet sodas in different flavors and that is getting harder to find.

    Stopped in for a sushi treat and bakery advice for preparing key lime pudding. Both were well received!! Sushi..is..dynamite!! I selected 4 different platters for the fam, all of which were delicious. Although prepackaged the fish, shrimp and crab always smell and taste mild and fresh. Veggies within the roll as well as the sauces are on point. << I was sad there was no pickled raddish/carrot roll, that day. It's very good and zingy!>> As I was attempting a new recipe, I was given good instruction and inspiration from the sweetheart associate in the bakery. Adding key lime juice (slowly) and condensed milk help to avoid separation between the acidic/creamy mixture. I'm very happy with my overall Publix experience, as always. Thank you to your staff, bakers and chefs for going the extra mile, u rock!

    Reagan, Haley, and Carsen at checkout were AMAZING. They identified an issue at checkout my wife and I were mumbling about, we weren’t even going to correct the mistake my wife and I made but they stepped up- fixed our transaction, carried our incorrect items back for us and rang out the correct items. This customer service was exemplary and above and beyond.

    Just ran in to grab a couple quick things. I know I'll get eye rolls on this but, (as a former cashier), I was happy to see this one has a few self checkouts! As much as I respect the position, now that I'm retired, I really just want to get in and out with no line and just a quick wave & a smile is adequate for interaction. There were plenty of cashiers busy ringing, and fully stocked shelves so best of both worlds in this location!

    Multiple times in the Bartow Deli have they ignored our requests and not acknowledged my spouse and I being there. Also, they make empty promises and their deli manager does not care. I prefer Highlands City Publix since they are actually focused on service. Lastly, they hide the food in the back and act like there is no more food and discourage customers to order or get food by 5 PM. This is unacceptable for Publix culture.

    Extremely disappointed with the Deli Department. I ordered almost $300 worth of food from the deli so that I could provide lunch for my team of employees and unfortunately experienced nothing but problems every step of the way. I ordered 4 days in advance but a deli worker called me the day before pickup to let me know that some items were out of stock. She worked with me to pick some alternative items that could be substituted for what was out of stock. No big deal, we got it resolved. However when I arrived to pick up my order at the reserved pick up time, The deli worker said they did not have part of my order because it was out of stock. Not the same things they had called me about before. I asked why I wasn't notified or given the opportunity to pick substitutions and she said to me that they were really embarrassed to have to call me again so they just didn't. She then offers me some substitutions which I agreed to, but obviously had to wait for them to be prepared. She then comes back and tells me that she also doesn't have the $43 sandwich platter I ordered because they "gave it away to someone else". At this point I become a little more impatient. They offer to remake the sandwiches but explain I will have to wait. I stand waiting at the counter for 45 minutes and I overhear the same deli worker yelling to the sandwich department telling them to hurry up because I am still waiting. After an hour, another lady from the deli comes up and tells me they also gave the second platter away to someone else. Not only did they give my first platter away, they also gave the second platter that they had to remake away to someone else. All while I was standing there waiting. I honestly don't believe this happened because I stood at the deli counter waiting for over an hour and saw NO ONE walk away with a sandwich platter. I would have noticed because I was the only one waiting for over an hour. She says she is going to remake them AGAIN and I told her she better not hand them to anyone else but me because at this point it is completely absurd. After waiting another 30 minutes, she finally brings the platter to me, but made completely incorrectly. I had no choice but to take it because I had a team of people waiting for me to feed them. I waited at the deli counter for almost 2 hours past my original pickup time and because of this all of the hot food I ordered had gone cold by the time I got back to deliver it to my team. Unfortunately, my attempt to get lunch for my team the week of Christmas ended in embarrassment for me because I had to give them cold food. Publix should also be totally embarrassed. No one took any accountability for the extremely poor service they provided. Nothing was discounted. Everyone just kind of turned their heads and refused to acknowledge the terrible experience. I know this time of year is very busy for them, which is why I placed my order 4 days in advance but the entire situation was handled very poorly. I really am very disappointed. I order from Publix pretty regularly and I will definitely hesitate to do so again.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I can't believe I've lived in Bartow for three years and have never eaten here before! I'm so glad I found this place. Reminds me a bit of Mega Mercado in Lakeland with the restaurant/store combo. The price was great and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be returning!
