First time going. Got the honey chicken, great flavor, only thing was the honey chicken was mostly batter. Rice was tasty but the mixture of the honey chicken flavor didn't sit well for me. Rice alone was great though. Chicken Egg drop soup was great too.

There is no way this place has a 4.4 star rating. I do not write reviews much but this one I have to touch on. "ABSOLUTELY" the worst tasting Chinese food I've ever had. We purchased $100 + at this place and I will never, ever buy food from here again. The food tasted like 2 week old oil. Pulled a hair out of the food the first minute we opened the box. Gross General Tso's chicken, The worst ever actually. Nasty fried shrimp. Let's not talk about the rice. Also tell the front cashier guy to lighten up with his bad attitude. Stay away from this place if you value good food because this place is not it. Absolutely disgusting.

Ordered some sesame chicken with rice and sweet + sour chicken with rice. The rice had a whole dead roach/insect of some sort in it. The tea we ordered was clearly old based on the bitter, musky and watery flavor, and the rest of the food we ordered was rendered inedible because I, for one, don't eat food that has touched an insect while being served to me. I used to love this place, my grandfather would take me here to eat all the time as a kid. But as Plant City got busier, it seems many restaurants did not have time to keep up with quality over quantity. I hope to see this place improve, but for now I'm going to steer clear and recommend others to do the same. We're both very ill feeling today, and can most likely give credit to the lovely insect we had the pleasure of meeting. Seems he didn't like the food either, he was dead on arrival.

Best Chinese food ever!! Everything was seasoned perfectly! The noodles, my general tso chicken, everything! The crab rangoon was crunchy on the outside, but soft inside! Definitely the best place I've gotten Chinese food from. Will be back! 😋

This is the best Chinese food I've ever had... And I've been all over the world literally... Today was day 3 in a row. I normally order the same thing every time from other places too scared to try new stuff but in 3 days I've had 3 different things and loved them all. Cashew nuts chicken, monogolian beef, and seasme chicken and honey chicken. Added spice to everything and I will tell you it's actually spicy. Marcello is wonderful at taking orders... Best crab rangoons I've ever had, and amazing sweet tea. Very Happy with this place and lunch portion is huge... Chicken egg drop soup on point. Only thing I need is a frequent flyer card lol... I’m always hesitant about lunch specials and anything that’s a “deal”, but this $8 lunch special was fantastic. As far as food quality goes, It’s seems to be standard Chinese food. What gives them five stars is the fact that the food was hot off the stove, the portions were generous, and the restaurant and restroom were very clean.

I gave a great review about five months ago, on my first visit, but my subsequent six or seven visits have gone downhill when it comes to quality at this location. I understand times are tough, but a price increase and a quality decrease is bad math. Charging more for poor quality versus the two or three competitors in the city has caused me to change my mind, but I will not remove my last good review, because I hope they will get better. Things of note are the prices going up 10%, but the fried rice is like going to Pollo Tropical rather than Asian style (seriously, yellow rice and veg, definitely not traditional), soup noodles stale or freezer burnt, cheap takeaway sauces and light portions on wontons in soup. Again, I get it about the way times are right now, but if you’re going to increase the prices, at least maintain the quality to match. All the best to the Owners, they need it.

Used to be a regular but lately the food has been so mediocre and not fresh. Today I ordered vegetables as well as a pint of Shrimp fried rice. I probably receieved 4 or 5 pieces of shrimp & the container it came in was not the Pint sized container. My food was turned upside down in the to-go Styrofoam container with rive spilling everywhere. Not to mention, the vegetables were not fresh at all. Smelled like someone picked them out of the soil & added sauce to them. It literally smelled like a garden & the vegetables had sauce that tasted old and overly saturated with whatever sauce they cooked it in. I think this is my last time ordering, this is a common occurrence now. The food is not fresh and seems rushed. On top of that it tastes very old! Never again!

Got my food and it was full of these black bugs and also my buddies food was full to I called the store and all I was told is contact door dash for my refund that’s all…

Food is good, but horrible customer service. The lady with the glasses who’s probably new, was very rude. Giving every customer attitude and rolling her eyes at everyone. She took my order, didn’t give me a time and when I came back 25 minutes later and asked if it was ready she gave me an attitude saying “idk not ready”. Good food but probably won’t ever come back because of the service.

I ordered something pretty simple that all Chinese restaurants should be good at. Shrimp fried rice, 4 pieces of Chinese fried chicken, & a side of broccoli & string beans. With tip came out to $21. The rice had very few shrimp. The shrimp were small & mushy. Rice didn’t taste like they cooked it fresh. Tasted like rice from a freezer bag or something. The chicken was damn near still clucking with all the feather it had on it. CHICKEN NEEDS TO BE CLEANED prior to serving. Idk how you mess up sautéed vegetables but they did. They had this really thick brown sauce on them which didn’t give them very much flavor. Just a slimey texture. Won’t ever eat here again

Chicken arrived and it was freezer burnt or old because that taste was not good at all. It arrived at 8pm so couldn't drive all the way back to let them know and nobody answering the phone. Hopefully they can make it right so I can try again. Almost $70 bucks spent.

This place is amazing! You’re always greeted with a smile. That’s so nice by the way. Folks take for granted the value of a friendly “hi, how are you”. You get that here. The food is wonderful and the prices are great! They run their lunch special on Saturdays too which is something I haven’t seen before. If you’re in the mood for Chinese this is the place.

Friendly staff! Ordered wonton soup from them twice while I was sick. Soup was DELICIOUS and the price was great for the amount they gave. Definitely coming again!

Not only is the food delicious! The customer service is amazing!! The woman up front had amazing manners and was soooo sweet when I got there to pick up my food. I told her I have a 5 year old at home so she gave me extra fortune cookies 🥰. The place is super clean and taking all the precautions and protocols for the corona virus. I def found my new food spot!

I have to give it 5 stars! I'm super new to the area and have tried Chinese food along Thonotosassa Rd just to be left disappointed. I almost regretted the move here. Like, I understand not finding authentic NY pizza, but Chinese food shouldn't be too difficult. 813 has surpassed my expectations. My mom who can be difficult to please raved about the taste, quality and hefty portions. This is my 3rd time ordering from 813 and I will continue to order. Thank you for everything tasting fresh and so enjoyable. 😋

I've visited this restaurant for years and have seen the highs and lows. I had a taste for their food today as I'd not been there for some time. I ordered the spicy Singapore mei fun, only vegetarian, but with a fried egg. I was phenomenal! Only thing is the container was a to-go container versus a container with a lid...bummer! I'll be back, don't know when but you're still my favorite 💓

I had an issue with my Uber order and I just work across the street, I was missing an item from my order so I ran across the street to see what happened, turns out my Uber driver took my food but they were so kind as to take care of it and that is GREAT customer service! Will definitely only choose 813 Chinese for all my Chinese food ordering! Thanks again!

Customer service was outstanding! I didn’t felt rush on the phone to hurry up and order. I order Chinese takeout a lot but NONE have left a footprint in my head like this one! The presentation of the food of when I got it was superb. And then when I order again , my hubby went to pick up the food and notice how different this restaurant is from other Chinese takeout. They didn’t treat us like parasites or have everything guard up and it had air conditioning inside. I am a supporter of small business and prefer to shop from local businesses

Service was a bit slow, ordered online drove to restaurant, paid and had to wait another 15 minutes, service was good. Food was excellent, fried dumplings made with chicken and dumpling sauce when combined was divine! Mongolian beef that has the right spiciness, Singapore Mei fun that was spiced perfectlt with properly cooked shrimp, you know the ones that pop when your teeth hit them. I was impressed and will be back!

My favorite place to eat Chinese American food in plant city. My favorite meal is chicken and broccoli with brown sauce. Also love their rice noodles, plain. Always reliable even flavor. I got 2 of the lunch specials peppered steak. I give 3 stars cuz food was good otherwise I would of given 1 star because in one of them there was only 3 pieces of small steak and the other had 4. It was nothing but onions and stuff I couldn't belive how little amount of meat was in there very disappointing cuz flavor was very good

The Orange Chicken was phenomenal, the Pork Egg Rolls were also phenomenal. The Pork Fried Rice wasn't bad, but the Egg Drop Soup was disappointingly flavorless and far too thick. I will eat here again but will pass on the Egg Drop Soup.

I don't know about you but I don't consider Spanish rice to be the equivalent of pork fried rice. It wasn't fried either but there technically was pork in it so ill give them that. Honestly I should have heeded the red flag in another review mentioning Italian food. It's certainly a take on fusion food gone wrong.

If you are from up north and looking for the same taste and experience on Chinese food this is the best place ever. Food taste very good no matter what you eat. Good variety and selection.

Tonight was my first time dining at this wonderful restaurant. I’ve lived in Plant City for many years and never been here till tonight. It was amazing. The food was delicious. The service was amazing. Carmen was my cashier and she was amazing super sweet definitely 10 out of 10. It was amazing the eggrolls a sauce everything was super good, definitely you’re going to make this my mu to go please and thank you Carmen for being super amazing ..

Was charged way more than what I usually pay. I feel she put a tip in on it. I had already did. I usually get a garlic shrimp dinner, large pork steam dumplings, and egg drop soup for $21. 00 give or take a few cents. But we didn't get the soup and charged at least $6.00 more. I will make sure I order from Marcelo from now on. Most of the people there are superb. I wasn't impressed with her. Oh I only got half of what I usually get. Plus I don't get 2 cups of rice. I have all my receipts .

I really dont know what happened to this place- it was our favorite chinese food in plant city but the last few times has been a major disappointment. I hate to leave a poor review on any business but I think they need to see how much it’s affected their business. The food tastes like are using really old grease. The eggrolls have no flavor anymore and the chicken barely has any actual meat- its mostly breading/weird pieces. So disappointed because we loved getting food from her but cant really do it anymore- i ended up throwing away 90% of my meal the last 2 times :/

I don't eat out alot Not happy. But I have been craving Chinese and they are close and I normally love them but don't precook the Crab Rangoon and don't precook the Egg Rolls makes them cold and chewy,and nasty. And I actually tipped them!

The best cashew chicken I’ve ever had. Loaded with cashews, fresh veggies and big pieces of chicken (not that little diced up stuff). Kung Pao shrimp is also very good. Excellent iced tea. We drove from Lakeland to eat here and will be back!

I lived in Plant City for 4 years before I tried this place. That might be the biggest regret of my life. This place is awesome. Huge portions... very well priced...and the food is amazing!! Not just the best Chinese food in Plant City....I'll put this against anything in Tampa or St. Pete.

I think we FINALLY found OUR Chinese place!!! Didn't know it was here. New Friends suggested it recently, so we decided to give it a try. This is THE PLACE FOR GREAT FOOD. Yummy food, courteous staff. Reasonable prices. Can't wait to try the hot and sour soup.

The food is so good. My only complain is the spicy sauce is not spicy. Please make it more spicy and I make the 5 starts.

Very good food there.

It was ok. I personally like fried rice with soy sauce not "yellow rice". We asked for light sauce on the boneless spare ribs and got no sauce. Too, bad China One was closed today. I will not be coming back to 813 Chinese. We need a Thia food restaurant in this area.
