Absolutely outstanding! The service and quality of food is top notch. The waitress Erica made some great recommendations when it came to ordering drinks, appetizers, main entrees and dessert. I tried the Black Grouper, my friend has the Prime Rib. Definitely going back, just for the Prime Rib. Loved the gator bites (first time for me)! The spring rolls were vegetarian and delicious when dipped in their 'spicy' mayo sauce. All in all, great atmosphere and great time w the buddies here 💯💯

This place was delicious. The atmosphere is super unique and the service was outstanding. We ordered the short rib and beer cheese nachos. They were so good. Homemade chips with tender short ribs, beer cheese, and pickled red onions. Everything melded together perfectly. I ordered the lamb and it was some of the best I've had. Tender, seasoned, and cooked just right. Would highly recommend.

Excellent wait staff. Very attentive. Drinks were very good. Recommend Espresso martini. Gator bites- yum!! Could have had more spinach in the Ahi Tuna salad. Goat cheese cake locally made and amazing. The atmosphere is eclectic and cool.

Best place to eat, drink and have fun in Dade City. The place was amazing and the service was excellent. Our server Drew gave us outstanding customer service and was very attentive. This was our first time here and will not be the last. Next time in this area, I will definitely visit it again! I totally recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. Thank you so much Drew! 🙌🏻

Excellent! Grouper Tacos were loaded with Grouper@ My husband had shrimp scampi. Pasta & shrimp were cooked perfect. Lemon & garlic sauce was light with the right amount of seasoning. Amanda was a fantastic server. She was a class act! Will visit again soon.

First time there. Had brunch. It wasn’t very busy which was nice. Food was good, service was ok. The inside of the place is really nice. Definitely worth checking out.

We decided to drop in at this little gem whilst staying for a day in Dade City after Bay Area Ren Fest. Boy are we glad we did. This place was SOOO cool. The decor was unique and very well placed. It was our anniversary dinner and best choice hands down. Very cozy and the food/drinks were just plain incredible. I had an Espresso Martini that was soooo yummy (but dangerous lol). For food, I had the burger with the bacon and short rib and it was sooo tasty. Husband had some Alfredo and we split the Roasted Red Pepper soup. Service was impeccable. Somehow our waiter managed to handle all indoor/outdoor tables as well as the bar, it was a sight to be seen… never once were we left without a refill or a check up. I was blown away and honestly can’t wait to go back to Dade City again

Fresh ingredients and a cool atmosphere definitely earns a recommendation for dinner. Ordered the Koko cheese fries and it came with homemade ranch so good that they used to bottle it and sell. One of the best ranches I've had!! Entrees were Prime Rib and the Smash Burger. Prime Rib was good but could have been more tender. The star of the dinner (other than the ranch 🤣) was the goat cheese cheesecake....it was amazing! It was tangy but not too sweet and the perfect dessert.

Cute restaurant with an interesting and flavorful menu. They have separate gluten free and vegetarian menus which is wonderful! They also offer a gluten free chocolate cake dessert. The portions were large and the food was delicious.

Late lunch/Early dinner at a new great Restaurant in Dade City, Kafe Kokopelli. We had an excellent server, very helpful and friendly ! The 16 oz pork chop with bone was amazing and shareable with my husband ! I forgot to take the picture of my meal prior to split the green beans and mashed potatoes and pork chop !! The cappuccino is as great too. We had the calamari as appetizer, and was great and very tasty with the 2 homemade sauces. Well recommended! Love this restaurant !!

We went here for the first time yesterday. WOW! What a restaurant! The atmosphere was so inviting! Darker, dim lighting, so many things to look at! The food was sooo amazing! The staff was awesome! My server Marina was great!! I took pics of the restaurant but was so hungry, no food pics 😂 I definitely recommend this place! Gator was so tender and the batter was really unique. Oh and get the smoked mayo and put it on something! So good!!!

Nestor behind the bar is so personable and always has our drinks ready! Andrea has waited on our party multiple times and anticipates all our needs like she can read our minds. We always feel like VIPs and never feel rushed! The owners,Steve and Sue, are salt of the earth people, they're so great I feel like I want to go there every week and spend my hard earned money! What a fabulous restaurant they have created this past decade! The best around! Special occasions or just a quick night out, nowhere else we'd rather be! 💗

Really enjoyed our experience here on Saturday night. The food was very good. I love that they offer lunch portions at dinner time. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with arabiatta sauce and it was very very good. Definitely had the spice but wasn’t overbearing and unpleasant. The bread beforehand was a nice variety and it was tasty. We also ordered the beer cheese soup as an appetizer, and it was okay. Seemed to be very floury tasting and lacked a bit of flavor but it wasn’t terrible. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. She was so friendly and attentive. Afterward, we went to the bar for a nightcap and Jeff was very pleasant and attentive as well. Great staff! Great environment and ambiance! Highly recommend.

Fantastic menu and service! The atmosphere is very nice and fun to look at. The food was delicious and came out fast. Our server gave great attention to us but didn't bother us too much. Overall, we will be back!

Birthday dinner with my hubby was wonderful. Love the atmosphere, decor and wait staff. The service was fantastic thanks to Samantha and our meal was special. The fried calamari was cooked to perfection with two amazing sauces the she crab soup amazingly creamy. The dinner rolls were served fresh and hot. Entree’s were the lamb chops and chef shrimp scampi. My chops could have been less cooked and the meat needed seasoning, the scampi was over powered by red pepper and missing something either more garlic or shallots. I BBC would highly recommend a meal and visit to this great place.

I wish the food and the service could get the same ratings as the atmosphere but it did not. Our service was just ok but the congeniality of our waiter and the host who sat us at our table was terrible. I felt as if we were a number and they could care less if we were there. There was no smile or Welcome! My Meat Loaf dish, or so I was told by my waiter was the most popular dish being ordered, should have been piping hot and food candy for the eye. But it was lukewarm as was the potatoes that came with it. The cheese in the middle of the meatloaf was a glob of congealed mess and there was one piece of basil in it. I asked for asparagus instead of green beans and I should probably have left it at the original green beans because the asparagus could not be eaten it was so tough and overcooked. This was not my first visit to this restaurant but I can tell you one thing, at the prices they charge, it will be the last based on the meal I had tonight. Very disappointed as we had invited friends to go with us. They did not complain about their meal but it did not look anymore appetizing than mine.

Kafe Kokopelli is a hidden gem! I take everyone to this restaurant when I’m looking for a place that has a little of everything, packed with flavor, top notch service, and a great atmosphere. The live music nights are always a blast, but quieter days and nights are just as great. Myself, my family and my friends have never had a bad meal! The Goat Cheese Cheesecake is one of my favorite unique finds on their menu. All of the staff members are kind and attentive, but every time we go, we ask for Jake! He’s always full of energy, has the best recommendations, and makes the whole table laugh. Thanks for always taking care of us, Jake! Stop in for your next dinner date or celebration. And don’t skip appetizers or dessert! ❤️

When I tell you that I have never had a better Mojito in my entire life, it’s an understatement. I’m 100% sure I’ll never have a better one in any other place. There is no other way to describe it but absolute perfection. Hank is personally responsible for this incredible experience we had at Kafe Kokopelli. Its worth the trip just to go and check this place out, it’s incredible!!

Awesome little hometown location. The locals and trip advisor both said it was the best place in Dade City. We checked it out. The entrance was unique and different. Once you step inside, you are in a whole new world. They have beautifully decorated with deer and moose antlers, almost any taxidermy animals you could think of. We got lucky, and someone canceled a reservation, so we were seated. The staff were not friendly front desk and our waitress they all seemed irritated we were there. Then the food was definitely a huge disappointment. We ordered the She Chrab Bisque and the Cajun Alfredo Pasta, both house specialties. The Bisque was thicker than left over breakfast gravy. The Cajun alfredo came with a few shrimp, about a quarter of a small chicken breast, and 4 very tiny slivers of sausage. All meats were severely overcooked, to the point they appeared to be near jerky. The alfredo sauce was almost as thick as the Bisque. The staff should truly have been embarrassed to serve those two dishes. We also ordered the Ahi Tuna, and it came out perfect. And was absolutely delicious. Would I be back? No, I wouldn't. I understand bad dishes come out of kitchens, but coupled with very unfriendly staff, I would prefer to support businesses who want customers.

What an amazing dinner we had! Food and atmosphere were great. Such a great vibe inside. Started with their sangria and champagne. Then enjoyed the seafood cajun pasta which had an an out of this world sauce and the pulled pork tacos. Ended it with the bananas foster. Everything was on point and will be coming back again soon!

after living in the area for 5 years I stumbled to this great hidden gem of a restaurant. Food And the service is very good. The restaurant looks good and is clean. I have to say this is the best restaurant in town

My favorite thing to do is find a new little town to explore. While exploring, this cafe was referred to me. The building is beautiful and historic. The interior is full of beautiful and quirky decor - lots of taxidermy which I love. I came in right at 3pm which was the end of their brunch service and apparently it had been a busy day so far. So I’m guessing the kitchen staff just stopped caring. I ordered the she crab soup which was warm but flavorless. Unless flour is a flavoring. Not much crab. I also ordered the meatballs on ricotta, the appetizer. Meatballs were lukewarm and a bit pink inside. The cheese was room temperature/cold. The limoncello cake was delicious. I ate the soup and took the meatballs home. They were good when actually hot. This would be a cool place to spend a meal with friends. Probably fine either with others or during actual meal times when the kitchen is actively working.

Kafe Kokopelli is absolutely AMAZING! We stopped in for lunch, not knowing what to expect. We immediately became enthralled by the ambiance. We love the over one hundred year old red brick building that has vines growing up the sides by the windows. We loved the lighting and the Ford decor since this was originally a Ford showroom. Our service was great. We even had our Bananas Foster dessert prepared in front of us. Incredible! See video. We ordered the lunch specials that came with half a sandwich, soup or salad, and an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.

We dined in as a very large party. I must say, of all the times I've visited throughout the years, I've never been inside to dine. The restaurant is beautiful and very inviting. I love the setup. Every staff member we encountered, we're so nice and hospitable. Our waitress, Erica P, was truly awesome and very thorough. I had a very delicious glass of Moscato. Not pictured, I ordered the Meatball Ricotta as my appetizer. Although it could've used a bit more seasoning, it's definitely a fulfilling starter dish. For my entree, I ordered the Chicken Marsala. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the pasta was pretty good. Unfortunately, the sauce fell a bit short. It was on the watery side. But, I must admit, the meal was much better the next day. I know certain pasta dishes are better once they're properly stored/refrigerated and then reheated. I ordered a carrot cake to go, and it hit the spot. So delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area. I certainly plan to visit sooner rather than later.

There is so much I want to say about this place and this meal. It was, without a doubt, one of the best mid-day adventures that we have had in quite a while. I will break it down into three categories: Atmosphere, Staff, and Food. Atmosphere From the outside, to the entry, to the tables it is more than just a place to grab some grub. The vine-covered walls tell you that this isn't a cookie cutter kind of place. The eclectic decorations inside are both interestingly wild and informative. There are local pictures and stories and cool light fixtures. The tables are comfortable and well lit. The booths are roomy (good news if you're fluffy like me) and semi-private. Staff Everyone that I encountered seemed legitimately happy to be there. We've all encountered restaurant staff that exhibit fake happiness and sincerity...not here. They were knowledgeable and on their toes. Alyssa was a beverage ninja and appeared out of the shadows to replenish our drinks before we even knew they needed it. We even experienced a 'drive-by greeting' from another member of the server staff just to say hi and ask how things were. We really felt that we were appreciated. Food Now, the food was incredible. This being my first visit, I had no idea what to expect. When I asked my wife, who had been there once before with her father, she intentionally kept my expectations low by not alluding to the restaurant's charm. Desiring a semi-light meal, I opted for a soup and salad. The soup was a Roasted Red Pepper-Tomato Bisque. It was rich and hearty and warm. Not overly seasoned and just the right balance between the peppers and tomatoes. My salad, however, stole the show. A Caesar Salad that I opted to have with a beautiful piece of seared salmon. The salmon skin was crisp and excellently seasoned. The meat was tender and moist and the perfect doneness. The salad wasn't over-dressed and was very nicely presented. This next part was a little bit surprising. Typically, I avoid the croutons at a restaurant as I am watching my carb intake and let's face it...they are usually nothing to write home about. Most of the time they are dense pieces of flavorless cardboard. Imagine my surprise when I decided to take a chance and sample one to find a very light and flavorful exclamation point on this already great salad. In all, I have to say that not only will I definitely be coming back...but I can guarantee that I will be telling a lot of people to do the same.
