I love this park and this beach💙🏖️. I enjoy the private feel to it.⛱️ It's behind a group of office buildings, across from the Airport (TIA) basically. So airplanes are constantly flying over head. It has beautiful views, animal life including horseshoe crabs & birds etc Pretty sunrises and sunsets 💚 great small family park w/ gorgeous beach. Fishing is decent in the deeper areas out.

Awesome place to hang out if you have sometime before a flight out of TPA or just want to spend some time on the beach for the day. Free parking. Public restrooms and showers available. There’s covered pavilions and benches. Beach is accessible to soak in some sun and shallow water or to take a nice stroll along it. Planes do fly out pretty often but it’s kind of cool seeing them shortly after take off. Awesome place all in all

Sunsets! Free admission. Bathroom with shower. Playground. 2 Pavillion, both being used. Dogs not allowed on the beach. Couple people fishing. It was not crowded on Saturday but was filling up as we left before sunset. People were in water, not deep, no waves. I waded in, bottom more clay like. Not really meant for day long swimming. Clean, not a large beach space. Highway visible. Close to airport, good for those who love planes every 5 or ten minutes, I didn't mind!

I really enjoyed this park. Water is kinda murky but it’s warm and the sand was soft. Plenty of parking spaces, clean bathroom, many grills and covered areas from the sun. It’s a great place to watch planes land. Very close to the highway and fun place to take the family since there’s a playground

Great little park with beach access and plenty of parking. Great area to look for sea shells also if you head to the left of the beach area, it's more natural with lots of beach crabs. There are lots of passenger jets that fly over every 2-3 minutes. So could be good if you want to watch planes landing.

This was a great place to spend time on the beach! Plenty of room, restrooms, water fountains, showers to rinse yourself off after. Next time we are in Tampa, we will visit here again! Parking was the only issue we had.

This is one of the best locations for pictures, meditating and just holding a vibe. There are many lil cut aways that provide secluded areas on the beach. They have grills and a few Pavillions for gatherings. There is a walking trail as well.. This is also a great spot for dolphins watching and they come close to the shores for ultimate pics and videos.

Just a nice, quaint, beach area/park. It does have a good size park for all age kids to play & also has a public restroom. The parking area is not at all very big. But it is a very beautiful view of the bay. When the the sun

This is probably the closest beach to Tampa. There are picnic tables, shelters, bathrooms, a playground, and beach access. The beach overlooks the bay with views of the causeway and Howard Franklin bridge. It offers a great view of the sunset. There were people swimming in the water. It's very shallow quite a ways out from the shore. As soon as the sun dipped below the horizon a man with a bullhorn in a City of Tampa truck began driving around yelling "park is closed!" There was still plenty of light out as the sun had just set. I'm guessing they may need to lock up each night so they need to clear everyone out. Also heads up there is a pretty much constant stream of airplanes flying overhead from the nearby airport.

It's a nice park with access to the beach. There are grilling and picnic areas. Kids have a small playground. Bathroom is available here. Lots of parking space. It's near Tampa airport and you can see many aeroplanes 🛫 frequently.

This is a great little beach if you want to have family time. It's not as busy as the big beaches. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset here like the big beach.

I love this little park. I first saw it when I was flying into Tampa and I decided I had to find it on the ground. There is a nice beach area, picnic area, Frisbee golf, a volleyball net and walking paths. If you love watching planes come to land, this is it.

Its not a beach for swimming. It is a nice beach to hang out with friends and young children. The water is very shallow great for young children. It is a low key relaxing beach. Great for watching planes. They have bathrooms, a playground, and multiple picnic shelters.

Has nice beach with white sand. Small but not crowded. Restrooms and changing rooms are clean. Calm water so kayaking is good. Saw people fishing. Also looked to have a bike trail but can't confirm. Have several picnic shelters and grills. Lots of parking. Dogs are allowed in park but not on beach. Tampa International airport is very close so if your looking for peace and quiet, don't go here😊. It is located behind a professional building.

Lovely place for romantic walks or even watching sunset from the side of the beach. Not crowded and very family oriented. The only warning / concern is that the last two times we went there we saw some intoxicated people sitting alone and watching others while talking to themselves, or visiting the restrooms frequently, washing their “adult parts” publicly. That was extremely disturbing. You can’t be sure what made them “under influences” and you don’t want to get involved with anything when they are “hallucinating” something.

Great park with amazing view of the bay and nice sand for a beach inside tampa bay. Shaded picnic benches, bathrooms, pavilions, walking paths and jungle gym. Great for a weekend outing, a quick escape to nature, minutes from International Mall and WestShore Mall

Great little park with covered picnic spots, playground, walking paths, SUPs for rent, and a beach that includes an accessibility mat that goes all the way to the water for those in wheelchairs or have difficulty walking on sand. There’s a great disc golf course and a good spot to watch planes fly over on their way into TPA. Check out the information sign that explains the sound from wing vortices.

Nice little hidden beach park with a decent beach swimming area. Clean bathrooms, playground, picnic pavilions with bbq grills and showers to rinse off the sand & salt water. Plenty of free parking. Can watch airplanes fly over from airport which was neat. Litle paths through mangrove trees to get to small swimming/fishing spots on both ends of the beach area. I think the guys cleaning the park areas need to pay more attention to the sand dunes as they were very very littered with trash. It was a rainy day when I was there so wasn't really anyone else there

It's a calm and Arcadian white sand beach of west Tampa one of our and kids favorite beaches. Very peaceful to hangout in the evening time along with kids to enjoy the colorful sunset. It has kids play area, picnic shelter, hiking trail, boardwalk and wide parking area... Often we use to see people come for evening photo shoot for events... A peaceful place with good view of airplanes flying for landing haha :p ...

This place is very easy to reach. You have a beautiful view of the sunset from here. We arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. There was ample parking. There is a walking trail, playground, picnic benches and a charcoal grill. It is close to the airport so you have a good view of planes flying over.

One of my favorite parks in Tampa! Tucked away in the cut right on the water by the airport. They’ve got a great walking path, frisbee golf, a beach on the bay, paddle board and kayak rentals, playgrounds, historical plaques. And since it’s right by the airport you can catch planes flying right above you.

Great picnic area. It's a lot of fun to watch airplanes fly overhead (great pictures) as they approach Tampa. The views of the bay are beautiful.

Great bit of park to do some laps with access to the gulf to see dolphins and shorebirds. There are facilities on site. There is a small amount of homeless population. The park is the near the airport, so, planes will be overhead and they are loud.

The paved trail is nice and mostly shaded. There is access to a small beach (but pups are NOT allowed on the beach, and there are several prominent signs reminding you of this policy). You can also see and hear the planes as they head toward the airport nearby - that background noise may not be for everyone but I didn't mind it at all, and my pup was not bothered either.

I had a wonderful time with my boyfriend as we watched the sunset 🌇. There were planes flying low as they came in for 🛬 landing. We enjoyed the breezy coolness all around us. It was a great time away from the stress of life and a great time to get some peace 🕊️ and joy.

Beautiful quiet beach to hit during the day! Lots of places to set up little spots to relax. There are outdoor showers, picnic tables, grilling areas and free parking.

This area is absolutely stunning. More than a mile of tidal flats with so much life. So few people here now makes it a go to place to touch and experience natural beauty while in the city.

Beautiful place. Free parking and access. No life guard. Shallow. Park for kids. Clean restrooms. Mangroves are full of flowers and rabbits. Plenty of planes leaving and coming in from the airport nearby.

Beautiful Park & Beach! The scenery is gorgeous. There was a lot of parking spaces. It is beautiful to have a wedding, picnic, photo shoot, etc. or even take a date to this park. It is also beautiful to watch the sunset as well. It was our first time there. We will certainly be returning!

Beautiful park. It was really packed for how hidden it was. I’ve been told the sunsets here are beautiful but we didn’t get a chance to catch it. Will come back another time!

Very nice park with clean bathrooms, picnic tables, free parking and kids playground. Plenty of beach space for solo time. It closes at dark so that's a bummer but it's a really nice park.

Nice small park with great sunset views. Only concern is that it gets crowded even during the weekdays around sunset. Otherwise, if you like to see sunset while many planes close by flying to add to the scene, this is a good place.
