I've been coming here for 3 years now and it's always an adventure. There are many different routes and trails to find off the one main trail. There was also maintenance done recently and a lot of overgrowth has been cleared so more of the not-so-visible trails are accessible. Lots of shade and some picnic tables along the trail. Some muddy spots, and you gotta love those sticky hitchhiker plants.

Nice and easy trails, great for a family hike. It's a nice escape from the concrete jungle with plenty of wildlife.

The Sydney Dover Trails is a hiking area located in Valrico. It consists of a 4-mile loop with grass or dirt trails. There’s two starting areas: one on Route 60, and another on Dover Road. There are a few lakes and hills on this trail, which does provide a nice view. If you’re lucky, you may come across a horse on the trail! It’s not easy to get lost here, as the trails are well marked. However, the lack of maps or restrooms really brings down the quality of the trails. It’s also advised to bring bug spray, as many bugs are present here. However, this is still a good place to walk. Overall, would recommend.

The only place around here I know of with some elevation besides alafay or boyette. Easy to follow trails just basically takes you around the lake. Two different parking locations. One thing to make sure you take your debit card or $2 cash because there's a charge for parking.

Nice area to walk dogs, and to just get away from the chaos of Brandon, trails are a bit confusing, but once you figure them out it isn't too bad...lots of plant life and critters

Bring water if your going to do the whole trail, great place to walk the dog.

If you're looking for a bike trail, you could come here. It's a pretty basic trail but expect heavy sandy areas where your bike will sink and you might have to walk it for a few feet. The whole trail is like a workout since you're constantly pedaling through sand or dirt. There is a few other small trails you can take for a little adrenaline bike ride. They are short but have a few drops and a decent half pipe.

Beautiful place, but trails could have been marked better. Lots of markers, but markers could have actual words on them instead of just being color coded. You know like arrows pointing to the parking lot and telling you how far it is. Not into memorizing maps! 7.5 miles worth of trails can be very confusing. Maybe the horse riders don't really want to share the trails with us pedestrians!

Although there are trails for horse-back riding, the trails for people aren't very accessible.

One of the few places left in the area to get into nature. If you get far enough back you can barely hear highway 60 traffic. Fishing is excellent even though duckweed is taking over the ponds

Great little place to stop off and stretch your legs and take a break while on a road trip. It's a couple of tables and benches but from what I saw there's not too much there.

Excellent horse, hiking, and bike trail. Hardly ever see anyone else.

Very well kept local park. Located next to a busy thoroughfare yet urban sounds are negligible, unfortunately so is wildlife. Beware the mosquitoe swarms at dusk.

Had an enjoyable time and it was perfect for training our dog on and off leash since it isn't to crowded.
