A very beautiful, serene beach and children’s park. The shore was a bit rockier than I was expecting which might make me think twice when running through the list of beaches in the area. Ultimately, I think what really sells me on this beach is that it feels very private. It’s a little too small and ‘natural’ to really draw in a large number of rambunctious people. Although it could be that my visit during the off season has given me a false impression.

Beautiful and quiet park. Campground is clean and sites are spacious enough. Park has a well kept boat ramp, plenty of kayak/paddle boarding access. Bathhouses are kept clean and are accessible in a multitude of locations. They also have plenty of picnic pavilions for reservations. The camping is first come first serve. And rates are great. You feel away from it all, but just a few short miles is shopping areas.

Beautiful beaches, great camp sites (tight squeeze), tho. Nice boating docks and canue rentals. Overall, it is clean and quiet. Lots of fish. We found sting rays, jellyfish, and sea hares. Beautiful birds and raccoons that aren't afraid of anything. The staff are nice, helpful, and welcoming. I recommend 100%
