Nice park. Has a couple playgrounds, plenty of pavilions with bbq grills, a concrete cornhole game set up near one of the lg pavilions in the back left side of the park (bring your own beanbags), nice long paved walking path that passes along the river, clean bathrooms scattered throughout the park, several sports areas. Large dog park.. Fishing is also available down on the river banks along the walking path and the dam is pretty neat, flows really fast after heavy rains. I did see homeless people on every visit but they don't bother you at all.

One of my family's favorite parks. It has 2 playgrounds (one for little kids and one for bigger kids), 2 dog parks (big dogs and little dogs) with agility courses, pavilions, racquetball courts, a fitness trail, and beautiful riverfront views. Great on Sunday mornings!

VERY busy park. There are a lot of picnic tables, but they were all being used. There is a lot of nice shade, if you bring your own chairs you can sit many places. The parking is NOT sufficient, especially by the tennis courts, cars were parked on both sides of the road and traffic flow was not great.

After i ordered chinese food i wanted to eat it while it was still hot. I google picnic parks and this park showed up. It has picnic tables, a walk trail, is very close to the river. They also have several gazebos perfect for Birthday parties or just a family party. With this pandemic I'm always looking for outdoors spaces. Definitely will come back.

A fantastic underutilized park with beautiful old growth trees and a large dog park. Plenty of pavilions to get away from the heat. Lots of great spots to sit near the River and watch for wildlife.

Really awesome park. This park is huge. Great fishing spot although, keep an eye out. I unhooked a catfish just in time before a gator darted for him and dragged him back to the water. Do not let your kids near the water.

Beautiful park with amazing courts. Fantastic for pickleball and tennis. My buddy and I play semi-regularly and never have an issue finding a court. It does tend to get busier in the evenings but usually everyone there is very friendly and willing to play together

Very nice park. Big play ground for the kiddos and calisthenics stations for parents. A little bit of a fishing spot. Trail is long and wide enough to accommodate quite a few walkers. And here's the kicker, there is very seldomly rogue whack jobs wandering around so that's good. I go there regularly.

I always love walking through Rowlett. It's beautiful by the river! Very dog friendly (as long as everyone cleans up), great paths and trails for walking or even anything on wheels.

Great for any individual or family looking to get back outside and enjoy nature again. There's a Dog Park for small and large, kids playground, baseball, basketball, tennis court and plenty of acres to get a good run in with activities to boost your daily cardio away! Best times to go are usually the mornings when the sun isn't too bright and hot. Perfect for picnics and family events. But you better bring bug spray if you're going around 5pm 😁👍

This dog park was really nice, lots of shaded areas and loved that they have separate areas for the large and small breeds. Had a great time there.

Had a blast with my son this evening. He loves all of the playgrounds and the water scenery. The restrooms were unexpectedly clean for a public place and there is plenty of picnic areas if you're having an event.

Rowlett Park is a staple of the inner city, and an integral slice of the Tampa experience. Nestled comfortably in the warm bosom of Sulpher Springs, Rowlett Park has provided countless opportunities for families and friends to come together and congregate, availing itself as the pedestal for the priceless creation of timeless memories and nurturing of familial traditions & values for generations of Tampa residents. Additionally, any and all illicit and illegal narcotics can be acquired at Rowlett Park for a nominal fee. It truly acts as a beacon of paradise for all walks of life from either side of the tracks.

2 words! Very Peaceful. I love to go here and enjoy the weather. Usually I will fish here but they have parks and places to have picnics as well. A lot of people workout there and well as walk and run. Overall it’s a really nice place to go and it have never been too crowded!

This was a lovely riverside park. Yoy can get right next to the Hillsborough River bank and see the water stream by. There is a nice, varied path great for exercise and stroller walks. There are plenty of trees with shade. There are also picnic tables and pavilions. There are two playgrounds too. I really enjoyed my time there.

It was a busy park. Lots of families having birthday parties. We were still able to find a picnic bench by the playground and had a nice time. It was a very clean park. I don't know about the bathrooms though. We didn't use them.
