Fantastic piece of the natural Sandhill Pine Florida landscape hidden next to I75. It's free to park and there are about 15+ spots. This has a fully paved trail that you can push strollers or bring your dogs on that leads into the bigger Flatwoods loop. You save $2 for parking if you enter this way. There are a few picnic tables for lunch or a small gathering. The wooded trails are harder to find here as they are not fully marked, but easy to walk once you figure it out. There is 1 port o potty. This walk is really nice as it is almost 95% shaded. The small park has a zip line and a little play area but that is about it. The park isn't fancy but it's pretty well maintained and great for the price. There is standing water in some areas so if you decide to walk very early or later towards dusk, you will get attacked by mosquitos, so bring bug spray. Definitely recommend this for walkers, runners or bikers.

Beautiful park to visit near Sandhill pine and is next to I-75. The park is free to park and there are lot of parking spots available. The park has lot of swings where children can enjoy and can have a picnic with available picnic tables for lunch or gathering. New Tampa Nature Park is popular for bike riders and has a nice trail. There is a small paved bridge also and the nature park is good for biking as well as hiking.

This is place is truly amazing. Was mesmerized by the beauty of it . Its very clean and with good paved road for jogging or walking or cycling . It is kid friendly too as it has small play area for them which includes a zip line and a small rock climbing . Lots of Fresh air with green trees all around and away from city noise, best place to get inner peace.. Restroom and water station can be added more , it would be helpful. I entered the trail from the water facility parking near bruse b down blvd and there was only one toilet available and no water station. Still I enjoyed my time being there..

Really nice wide paved trail. Climbing structures and zip line were fun. Ends at a county park with additional 7 miles of trail. Everyone with a dog had them leashed. Lots of bicycles too. Only complaint is the single portapotty at the entrance, no other facilities.

We visited this park today. The trail and boardwalk were good. It looks better for bike rides. They have a cool zip line and a small climbing area for kids. It was flooded with water in most of the areas which has led to breeding of mosquitoes. Several bit my daughter so please carry bug spray for sure.

Nice park. Not too vast. There is not much activities to do here. There is a small play area for kids with couple of activities. There is nature trail which is paved followed by a short boardwalk. The trail is mostly surrounded by lush forest area. We saw a snake on the trail and only couple of wild flowers. There are a few benches near parking area. Parking and admission is free. Park authorities can further develop the park with some flowering plants, more activities for kids, etc to create interest.

Oh my gosh I couldn't say enough great things about this place. Miles of trails, paved and dirt. You can hike, bike, rollerblade or just walk. You could seriously spend days walking, so many different paths too. It did take me a moment to find the trail start from one of the parking lots ($2 all day) But once I did it was beautiful.

This park connects to the Flatwoods preserve trail and has a limited parking and it’s free to park and enter. I didn’t feel the ambience great when compared to Lettuce Lake Park. On entering it has a kids playground which is not that great. No restroom building.

This is a great place to visit to ride bikes, walk, and hike along several trails off the paved main paths. If you have kids (large and small😂) / don’t miss the very cool playground area with a safe and fun mini-zip line and climbing area. Best way to access the playground is to enter from the second entrance off Bruce B Downs- not the Flatwoods Park Trails parking area.

Beautiful views. Careful driving on the way in, the roads are narrow.

Very pretty with all the wild yellow flowers on the bushes as you drive in. The park is hidden and tucked away, has a small playground and a fun zip line. There is a paved, shady and very nice walking trail with a short boardwalk that leads directly to Flatwoods bicycle trail. One porta potty by the p-lot. Nice little walk for the dog and the kids.

A seemingless harmless park for families to take kids for a walk or a ride on the Zipline, however there is a darker element that has overshadowed. Theifs and vandals have been breaking into cars in broad daylight and snatching contents from cars. Protect your belongings and leave them home or take them on your walk.

Beautiful park with many trails! Perfect for biking, skating, hiking with a stroller or simply taking a walk. Not the best option if you want to sit down and have a picnic or whatnot. Connected to Flatwoods park.

We use this park all the time. The zip line is fun and safe for children, so are the ropes. There are long trails for bike riding and walking (miles and miles of bike trail that we haven't explored yet). The only downside is that a lot of bicyclists ride really fast, which can be a little intimidating, and there isn't a lot of shade depending on the time of day.

Clean park with mini zip line and rope course. The trail is nice and leads to flat woods trail park. Parking and admission are free. Hidden little gem. My son loves the zip line and we like to walk the trail. ☀️☺️

Great park with a paved walking trail that connects to Flatwoods Park as well as dirt trails. Unique play equipment for older kids including a small zip line. Beautiful scenic drive to enter the park and it feels secluded. The only downside is limited parking (if you go at peak times) and a poorly designed parking lot.

Cute park(free) with Zipline and rock climbing -- not your traditional playground which is nice to see. Be careful on the boardwalk with little kids, planks are falling off with cracks and holes.
