Great place to take your pups to the beach! Fenced in! Picnic tables. Water fountain. Bathing area. Lots of fun! But on the day we went, there was a stingray carcass on the beach, like someone caught & skinned it & then left the rest there! Not this places fault, so still gets 5 stars, but people should be more considerate when using these places, especially since it’s a place for dogs!

Came from Central FL to give it a try, we came during a early weekday so I did not expect anyone to be here. The surrounding area is very industrial and the closest place to find food is about 10 mins away so bring food with you if you plan on staying a while. The dog area is a decent size with about 5 tables overall and minimal shading. But nice location to let dogs be free without a leash.

I hate to say this-cause I want to be selfish and keep this to myself - but this was an amazing fenced in dog beach, off-leash. Our boxer actually swam for the first time, she was cocky after that and was never far from the water from that point forward. Remember to poop-scoop your dogs though. Picnic tables and shady grass area. Great time.

A wonderful place to take the pups, enjoy the breeze, and watch the sunset! (No small dog/large dog separation on the actual beach front.. but tons of room to spread out!) There's several picnic tables, a few benches, and a rubberized wheelchair/accessibility pathway. Fabulous place!

Must go for a dog lover, once you drive past the industrial area, you will see a big parking lot. For a dog beach, it is very clean and they also have a bath area to bathe your dog.

This place is really cool. There is a lot of space for dogs to run around, and a gated area for dogs to play on the beach. Picnic tables under trees, for a nice shady area. There are doggie depots throughout the park. Its located to the left of the boat ramp. My dog loves this place!

Awesome dog beach! Fully fenced, clean water for drinking and rinsing, and a double-gated entry. More big dogs than small dogs, but everyone had plenty of space to run and if you want some distance you can just walk further down. We will definitely come again!

This dog beach is longer than the Davis Island one. If you go in early mornings, you usually have it to yourself. Great area for the pups to run on the sand or run in grass. The wash off area is nicely enclosed.

So excited about this park for my dogs! Moved from Las Vegas so my dogs aren't familiar with grass or the beach water. It was great to stand in the sun with God and not having to worry about the dogs getting into any trouble 😊

Great little off the leash dog beach. It's right next to the boat ramp and is fenced in. There are lots of picnic pavilions on the rest of the island and some other beach accesses, but the dog beach is the only one dogs are allowed on. The dogs we met were all friendly and very playful! They also have a place to hose off your little buddy, and a watering hole that can be activated with your foot.

It was our first time ever taking our pup to any kind of dog park, so we didn't know what to expect. The walk from the parking lot is very short. The dog beach area is large, completely fenced in, white sand, and a beautiful view! All the dogs and dog parents were friendly. Within a few minutes we let our dog off her leash to PLAY! The park closes at 7pm and there's a great fenced in area to wash your dog before you leave. We will definitely come back!

Had an absolutely wonderful time at this dog beach. We came in February and the weather was beautiful, beach clean and water clear. Our dog had a wonderful time exploring and loved getting in the water. The beach is large enough to spread out and not feel like you are on top of each other. Will come again if in the area.

My dog loves it here! Only reason I give it a 4 is because the fence could use a little work. If your dog swims just a little bit he/she can go around the fence. The other thing is on the far side there is a huge hole in the fence that the dogs can get out. My dog slipped thru, it's a good thing I can call him back. But if your dog isn't as trained it may be a problem

Really like this dog beach/park! There’s a huge grassy area as well as a large beach. It felt dirty compared to Davis Island and I got absolutely bit up by so many bugs. Not a ton of places to sit either but you can always bring your own chairs which I won’t forget to do next time. If your dog likes to go off on his own like mine, there’s plenty of space for that. The water did have a funky smell so I didn’t really want my dog in it but dogs get dirty so not that big of a deal. This is a pretty nice dog park in south tampa, I would return again for sure. I would recommend bringing your dogs here but don’t forget a towel to dry them off with after or you’ll have a dirty car.

Went for the first time and loved it! PROS: 1 . we have a rescue (4yrs old - little b/w dog) who has always been terrified of water. The ocean was a *new water* and she loved it! 2. Everyone was watching their dogs. 3. The washing station! CONS: 1. The smell 2. The slippery slime, I almost fell more than once. 3. Didn't see a restroom Any way the slime can be remove and used for something else?

Favorite dog beach in Tampa. Bigger and nice than Davis Island dog beach and the sand is better. Bring bug spray, the no-see-ems can be bad at times

This is a gorgeous fog park. It is for big and small dogs. It's one big area of land that is NOT divided into small dog and big dog sections. Be cautious because some people bring dogs that are not socialized. While there I witnessed 2 big dogs get into it and attacked each other. The owners had to break it up. Dogs can be unleashed but make sure they are socialized.

I really enjoy this park. But they are feeding the cats here. Which are feeding the raccoons. So the cats and the raccoons fight. And I'm sure none of them have rabies shots. So I'm really concerned about any dogs being loose to where they can get tangled up with a raccoon. Be careful

Very fun, there’s a fence but it has a big hole in it and dogs could get around the fence by the water anyway. Has a nice hose to clean up your pup after some time at the beach

We love hanging out in the bay at the the dog beach. Pebbles gets plenty of exercise running with her friends and splashing her dad. Good times!

New favorite dog beach! I met a guy who comes all the way from Clearwater to this dog beach because it's one of the best. Chill vibes, awesome pups, and beautiful sunsets.

Love that they have a section fenced in so you can let your dogs off their leash. There is a nice size area to rinse your dog off when you leave.

My fur baby had so much fun. The beach was clean & even had a little area where you can bathe your dog after all the fun . There was also soap bottles but they where empty so I would say bring your own . Overall we all had a great time

Was a great dog park - just wished we had seen the signs on the way in - sensitive to these sorts of things and think the dog is too - I will give it stars because the park it’s self was fine … the water looked a bit mucky and maybe the water might be bad … and Might is good enough for me - with warning like this you would think that there could have been a warning before we took our dog there and drive 2 1/2 hours to get there - so there is this (check the signs)

Came alone to check it out and I definitely recommend bringing your fur babies. Dog wash station. Several covered areas to sit and picnic tables under trees. Sand on one end and mainly rocky on the other end. Peaceful and great view of the water.

Clean dog park with lots of places to sit while you're letting your dogs play. Very respectful dog owners. Water available for your dogs to both drink and to be cleaned off after playing on the beach.

My dog's favorite beach. Lots of running room and at low tide they can run far in the water and not be deep from the sand bars. Only issue is the broken fence that's been this way for years, the dogs can get out
