Nice splash pad and safe playground for kids. Plenty of areas to sit and also to have a nice picnic. Bathroom is spacious however, the handicap door does not lock and the soap dispenser is broken.

One of the nicer parks in Winterhaven. Great splash pad for the kiddos with automatic shut ups when nobody splashing. Lots of picnic tables for gatherings and parties. Well-maintained. Relatively new playground equipment. Only exception is they need to replace the swings that are currently missing. Bathrooms were a wreck and all the stalls were without toilet paper. But I appreciate that they lock the bathrooms at dusk to discourage the transient population. Beware that there are no gates, or fences, around this park and this park connects with Martin Luther King Jr park and Silver Lake via pathways. So if you have an eloper, keep your eye on them. Also, beware at dusk, the transient population starts to circle. You can see some transient homes in the bushes next to the park.

Awesome park great place to go for free. Did I tell you it's awesome yet. It's clean everyone is happy go lucky. There's plenty of toys to play with. I did see one rude child and we turned our focus to a different part of the park. For the most part the children interacted together very well.

The wet zone was perfect. The play ground equipment was too hot to play on you couldn't even walk out there barefooted all the slides hot as fire.

We love this place! The splash pad is open until evening and there's shade and picnic tables near it. There's also a regular playground that is well-shaded and a very nice size... Plenty of things for kids of almost all ages to play on. But it's not so big that you can't see your child if they go to the far end of the play area. There's also a nice bathroom and water fountain that fills your water bottles too. Great area! Parking is close to the splash pad, too.

Great place for kids to burn off that extra energy. (I usually take the girls when mommy needs a break.) The ground is padded and plenty of room for the little ones to explore. Very family oriented and parents seem to watch out for each other. We like coming here and usually finish the day with a snow cone after we leave. Good fun!

Loved this place!!! Ground is very hot outside the water area..so I suggest water shoes or flip flops. Something easy because they want to go back and forth from the playground to the water area.

Love taking the kid here! So many different thing for kids to do. Swings, slides, climbing areas, balance structures and plenty of picnic tables for the parents to relax at or to break for lunch. There is also a really decent sized splash pad for the kids to cool down in. Perfect little hidden gem.

Nice park and splash pad but needs better parking. Also to fix water fountains bc they barely have water coming out.

Great place to go for an hour or so and let my kid run out some energy. Plenty of shade from mature oak trees around the park. The water fountains could use some attention. All-in-all it's decent, it has a some what of a quaint "Winter Haven" feel. With so much of Winter Haven changing rapidly, these kinds of places keep me grounded to the city that I know and love.

Didn’t really walk much. Took the kids to play for a while. Lots of other kids, so it was worth it. The gopher tortoise area is cool. Just not a lot of seating around the playground area. Bring a chair and some bottles of water.

This is a nice little park for younger kids (maybe toddlers to 13yr olds) as the swings and other play stations are better suited for that age group. There's a nice little water area with sprinklers for a hot day. I wish the area was better shaded though. But, we did have fun with our 10 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter. Go turn it into an awesome day!

Awesome place for babies all ages. No charge and great selection of facilities including water toys. Well recommend for both cold and a hot day. An ice cream van visits often so no shortage of sweets.

Nice outdoor space. Splash pad, Nice size playground and plenty of shade. I love the green space and picnic areas. Plenty of parking and restrooms. The park is always busy. The trail goes right along the park and transients frequent the area so be alert. Watch your kids and have fun.

Cute playground with splash pads, bathrooms, and water fountains. Could use more swings for the bigger kids.
