Gatorland is a relatively small park that is is to navigate. Get your schedule for the shows and accommodate yourself accordingly by arriving early to each show, as seats fill up rather quickly, especially the shaded ones! All shows were amazing, I wouldn’t miss any of them. *The park is easily accessibly by wheelchair. I recommend wearing sneakers, lots of sand and uneven walkways. The restrooms could use and upgrade! The train was three dollars each, tickets were good for the entire day with unlimited rides. The kiddie park is pretty cool and can entertain a child for hours. The petting soon had quit a few very friendly animals and is an adventure that will be excite every age. The Swamp Buggy ride is a bit intense, if you have some physical limitations, I’d pass on this one. Zipline was about 99 minutes-long, you must make reservations prior for both. Dinning in the park was fairly inexpensive and pretty decent food for Park food with portions of surely fill you up. Sunscreen, a hat, and maybe even a spray water bottle will surely make your experience a lot more comfortable.

It is a great local attraction in Orlando; you can see this location easily in half a day or spend lots of time there doing all the things. The train was a great break from walking around and you can see the backside of some attractions. We enjoyed getting the gator food and feeding the gators. Watching the various ages of gators just to their thing was a great way to immerse yourself in the Gatorland attraction. The gift shop is extensive and has so many t-shirt options if you're into collecting souvenirs. Parking can be difficult at busy times. There were accessible parking spaces near the entrance if you need. The security car patrols the parking area very well. We bought tickets online ahead of time, but this is no quicker. When you get to the entry, it is only one line. The person who checked us in spoke so quickly about everything that I didn't absorb any of it, and he came across as impatient, so I didn't want to ask him to repeat himself. We were just excited to ask about everything, so we had lots of questions.

So much fun. I wish I would have planned better. This place has grown!!! We thought it would be an hour or 2 but we were there for at least 3 and hadn't seen everything. The Bird room is amazing. Feeding the gators is a little gross if your squeamish but it's cool to say you have done it. And to walk out into the lake ...there are over 100 HUGE gators. It was definitely an experience. I can't wait to go again.

The is the first time visit with kids. They had a great time. Place has more than just gators. Feeding the gators, very educational, reasonable prices, free parking, train ride for the family which goes around showing all the attractions and swamp. Excellent place to spend a few hours with the kids. Lots of walking and outdoor activities. You can see snakes, parrots, turtles, etc. It was a great very first time here.

Had a great time, I thought it might be a little cheesy but it was a pretty cool place. The kids really enjoyed the day there. The shows were fun and interesting. We took the swamp buggy ride which was fun. The guide was very entertaining. We rode the train which was also a lot of fun. It was a pretty hot day but it seemed like there were fans everywhere to help keep you cool.

We absolutely loved! Gatorland. The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. They have several exhibits and many interactive exhibits. The park also serves as a rescue and rehabilitation center. There is a lot of educational material around to read and learn more about animals that are endangered or are dangered by human interference. The park has several discounts for Florida residents and veterans get in Free. Children are at a discounted rate. We highly recommend this activity. Plan on spending at least 2 to 3 hours at the park. Definitely take the time to do some of the interaction experiences. They are well worth it and very affordable. Follow us for more great reviews ™

A very floridian experience. The staff was extremely entertaining and talented. The exhibits, shows, and prices all exceeded my expectations, which provided a great different kind of fun from the traditional Disney experience. We went during New Year's and the cold weather made the gators a bit more sluggish than usual. It was still a great experience, and the added on zip line experience was amazing for me and my two boys (12 and 9). Would recommend to those who enjoy nature, outdoors, and crude jokes.

It looks small but damn it’s huge once you start walking. So much gators. Multiple shows at once to keep the visitors busy. Friendly staff. Albino gators. Huge gators everywhere. Go early for a quieter scenery. Ample free parking. Too bad the souvenirs doesn’t have real gator “things” like teeth necklaces or gator leather pieces.

This park is a lot of fun for the family. There is a lot to see from gators, snakes, birds, turtles, and much more. My family really enjoyed it. I will say the one down fall is, after paying the fee to get in you need to pay extra for everything else in the park as an add on. But again overall would recommend to anyone coming to visit Orlando.

My family and I had a blast at Gatorland. It’s a playground for adults and of course kids. When you first walk in you see big gators cruising in the water followed by smaller gators sectioned off by age group that you can feed for a few of course, but totally worth the money in my eyes. We enjoyed that so much! There are plenty of gators to see/feed along with other animals that you can pet and feed as well. We paid the extra $10 to get up close and personal with the gators and feed them two big pieces of meat (see first picture) that was totally worth the money as well. We also came back another day to do the night tour. I definitely recommend doing the night tour because you are only armed with a flashlight and get to see the gators in their natural state. Gatorland has so much to offer for people of all age groups and you are guaranteed to have a great time there!

Super recommended. We loved it. The next trip to this city we will surely repeat to enjoy the Screamin' Gator Zip Line and other attractions. I recommend spending at least 4 hours or more to reach each corner. There is a water play area, you can feed the animals and the cost of food for them is very good compared to other places we visit. It is suitable for all ages.

This place is incredible! I’ve always been intrigued by a gator-centric attraction, but had never visited one before. I was thoroughly impressed! The staff was super friendly and there was a tremendous amount of animal variety. Literally hundreds of gators, but there’s all kind of birds, reptiles and other mammals. Lyle the Nile crocodile was my personal favorite.

This place is so under rated with all the theme parks taking away the attention. The entry ticket is so affordable and so much things to do in the park. We spent around 3 hours there, watched all the shows and explored all the crocodiles and alligators. Rather than spending $160 to animal kingdom, this place is so much nicer.

Our family really enjoyed going here. There was fun shows. Lots of animals. A good bit to do. They gave a free ticket for my husband being retired military. The food was all good.

  • 5/5 Lesli V. 7 months ago on Google
If you buy the tickets online you save $3. Honestly this place was a lot of fun! I didn’t get to enjoy it to its fullest because there was a storm coming in like 15 minutes from when we got there but it was still pretty cool. They have lots of gator shows but I forgot to record those because I was so entertained. They also have a photo op (w/the gator from the video) for $10. Its a large park so you can spend 2+ hours there easy, just do better planning than I did.

Had a great time at this true Florida attraction. Took advantage of the Florida residents special so the price was very low. Great value for families even at regular price. We spent about 3 hours. You could spend more time if you do the extra things like zip lining. There was so much more to see and learn about than I realized. And so MANY LARGE gators. Everything was clean and the animals appear well cared for. We had lunch and it was basic but convenient. One of our favorite things though was the snarky humour on signs throughout the park.

A definite must see. Very nice, clean place. The shows were really good; informative and comical. There’s over 2,000 gators overall plus other animals. They’re in the process of building a craft brew/beverage shop and an ice cream shop. They also have a small, beautiful water park area for kids with a machine available for drying off. They have a couple of zip lines and a train. Super nice place, super nice day.

This place was really not what I expected. I had expected a couple big ponds with some gators. Pleasantly surprised. Well run place and there was more to see than just gators. Caught a few shows, took a walk through the swamp, and saw several critters as extra bonus sightings. We got there around 11 and wandered around until the jumping Gator show at 4:30. Well worth the time and military gets in free. Solid fun for all ages, but if you don't like walking or warm weather....not for you.

Alligator-focused reserve with other wildlife exhibits, zip lining, water park, and train. Came here on a Monday before we flew out, and we had a fun time. They do have luggage storage in the gift shop, although note that it’s unsecured, so you should still hold onto your valuables. It’s a family-friendly space, and they were doing a half-off deal for Florida residents. They say that if you buy tickets ahead of time online, you get an online discount of $3, but it wasn’t working for us. The lady gave us the discount anyways. There’s free parking. Credit cards are accepted. They do have food for sale (lunch options and ice cream/popcorn/cotton candy). It’s a place where you can spend about 3 hours (assuming you don’t have kids, otherwise, it’ll probably be longer since there’s a water park and petting zoo). They do have shows including one where you can see exotic animals, see them handle alligators, and another where they feed alligators. They were all educational and humorous in delivery. You have the option to feed alligators ($5), go ziplining ($50+), take a photo atop an alligator ($10), and more. We had a lot of fun checking out the exhibits and watching the shows. My favorite part was going into the bird exhibit and feeding the parakeets ($5 for 3 sticks). Overall, it was a fun time and a good thing for tourists or families with kids to go to.

highly recommend! Reasonably priced, wasn’t expecting as much as there is, if you take your time there’s plenty to do, we loved the bird room. Only about 7$ for all four of us to hangout and feed the birds and it was super fun! We signed up for the zip line, also super fun and we had great guides (don’t forget to tip)! Much better way to spend your time than waiting in line all day to go on 5 rides. They had great shows with very funny and knowledgeable staff!

One of the funnest and most affordable things to do in Florida! The shows were very entertaining and so many activities for the whole family to do. We visited the albino alligators, giant tortoises, petting zoo (where you can hand-feed the goats) and the train ride through the swamp was amazing! Lots of great photo ops too! You can spend the whole day here and not be bored or spend too much 👍👍👍

This is an affordable, very fun, and incredibly unique experience for tourists, locals, and anyone who likes to just simply have fun and/or enjoy a nice change of pace in a day. Gatorland has done a fantastic job of curating a great experience from facilities to park layout to offerings (shows/attractions/things to do/see). For the price, it's probably the best value park in all of Orlando. Pound for pound you get free parking that is very close to the front gate, we walked less than 100 yards from car to gate and we weren't there until two hours after it opened. I loved that we didn't have to bump in to others all day long like the mega theme parks all have. I also liked that I could take advantage of things like not worry about cost of eating in the park (sodas and food and souvenirs are all so expensive at the mega theme parks you just can't enjoy the day without cringing at the cost and hassle of the whole day). At Gatorland, we tried a couple of treats like AMAZING fresh hot mini donuts made in front of us to sodas/popcorn as well as our daughter wanted to feed the animals from gators to goats to turtles and the price was affordable for a family to do that. We also took the train and got a take home remembrance item (photo with a gator and sweatshirt). Again, it's the best value for a park, no crazy lines, no stalking your cellphone to book the next "ride pass" or pay a ton of money to ride different rides like the mega parks have with their passes and experience to try and enjoy the day without lines, lines, lines. We had none of that at Gatorland. The people were awesome, we had space to roam and enjoy so many different offerings. We got done and back for dinner after the day and felt energized and so thankful for the family time together. We avoid the big parks now as locals because of the cost and hassle of parking to price of everything and then paying insane prices to have some shorter lines.......as locals, we just exchanged our daily visit cost towards and annual pass for Gatorland after our visit today as we were so impressed. We look forward to several more visits this year, we had a wonderful day and will be bringing family as they visit us this year from out of state, to Gatorland.

This place was really interesting for the adults and children...Even though we were caught in a small monsoon it was still fun...Lots and lots of, alligators, turtles, snakes, toads, large cats, cockatoos, exotic birds, frogs, etc, etc...The employees were great and knowledgeable about the experience...They have a little train ride around the park that's relaxing and informative...We purchased tickets for the gator experience and it was a great time...We purchased the optional pic with a gator and it didn't disappoint... They have food, drinks and snacks to purchase...Plenty of parking and a gift shop as well...Overall it was an educational/fun day...We would definitely come back...

Very fun place to see the famous alligators from Florida! Lots and lots of small and big gators and they even do fun shows with them. You also got a large swamp where you can walk through and a tall tower where you can see everything from. Kinda busy but you didn't have to wait for anything.

Pretty cool place just hard to navigate when we went. The kids really enjoyed the feeding show they put on. Lots to do and you can hold gators. They loved the splash pad and of course we didn't have towels but they had a little human dryer.

Florida discount is very appreciated, my husband and I got in for about $35. Super hot day! The fans found in different areas were nice. An air conditioned done in place would be very profitable. The alligators were beautiful, awesome, intimidating creatures! I loved seeing so many of them all around! They're are other animals to see also. Everything was really a lot of fun!

Gatorland Florida- the oldest theme park in Florida will not disappoint. If you’re looking to getaway from the disney scene this is a great outing especially for the kids. There is hundreds of gators, and an array of other animals including birds, parrots, turtles, snakes, and barnyard animals. The park has a good assortment of interactive activities for adults and toddlers including gator feeding, bird enclosure feeding, petting zoo, train ride, off road buggy trip, swamp walking trails, photo opportunities with live animals and zip lining over gators. There were several spots to get food including a full service restaurant on site. Unfortunately the splash pad was closed but they were actively working on renovating it. There is a shaded play structure area for the little ones with lots of seating nearby. No outside food or drink was allowed in the park. The park offers a military discount for both American and Canadian service members. You will find a large well stocked gift shop at the end of the park. The location was easy to get to, lots of free parking, in which security actively patrols and the crowds were reasonable, usually never having to wait to do any of the activities. Staff were great and very friendly overall a great outing for the price. Recommended Florida Visit.

Amazing experience! I've been here twice already and loved it each time. Pack your swimsuits they have a splash park for the kids, and it is much needed in this Florida heat, and the kids love it. I recommend seeing the shows they have throughout the day they are great. Employees are all very, very nice and do incredible parts in their rolls. Did the feeding of the gators right where you walk in? It was also an awesome experience.

Went on half price day. Well worth it and we ended up paying the $10 to hold the baby gator and boa constrictor. Saw 3 different shows that were very cool. The train ride was fun too. Saw all kinds of animals besides gators, such as crocodiles, emus, lizards, and snakes.

Great fun for adults and kids. The show staff/ trainers are very funny and just be mindful that some of their jokes connect better with adults. Be prepared to spend money on experiences like photos with alligator, feeding them, zipline... etc, depending on the age group you are going with. However, the prices are fair, just they do add up quickly. This park can easily entertain a family for a whole day.

This was a fun thing to do in the evening. It definitely isn't an all day thing we went around 3pm and kids had a great couple hours there. Lots of cool wildlife to see. Can pay to feed some alligators which kids thought was really cool. Got to see the jumping gator show at the end of the day, one show was good enough for kids (10,12) lots to see here definitely recommend on an evening in Orlando that you have nothing booked to do!

First of all, the pros: You want to see some gators, you will see MANY gators. This whole place is full with gators. Not only gators, but also crocodiles from across the world, with other animals for display. Also, there's snakes, and these snakes are not the ones that just sleep all day. In fact, these snakes were some of the most active snakes that I have ever seen in my life! Now, the part that I hate the most, the cons. We will start with the shows there. The shows are kind off boring, and they might not go the way that they're supposed to go like. That is just my opinion. However, 2 of the shows are excellent that I would recommend watching, these are called "Up Close Encounters" and "Alligators: Legends of the Swamp." Overall, gator land was fun, and with that I give this a 4 star rating. Thank you. Tips: Do buy the tickets online, you will save a lot of money, and this whole visit will take around 3-4 hours for most people.

Yesterday my family and I went to Gatorland. They are having a FL resident special on tickets until June 30, 2023. When we first got there the line was long but it was moving quickly. While in line, we got asked about some extra experiences that you can do while you're in the park. We paid for an Alligator Feeding for $12/person, you also get to take a picture after your feeding that's not included. It was totally worth it. We also got a chance to see some of the shows that they have. Our favorite part of our visit was walking along Alligator Marsh. It's a boardwalk with alligators that you can watch and feed. It was a great experience for my family and we will definitely be back with more family and friends.

Great vibes all around. It was a unique Florida experience that I'll never forget. Obviously lots of gators, crocodiles, snakes, goats, emus, and more! It's bigger than you would think when you start walking around but is small enough to see everything in one trip- it took us like 4 hours. It was hot but you don't feel it too bad when you're walking around cause it's like an open air walkway system with fans everywhere! Overall our trip was awesome, we saw what we came to see, some gators!

This was a great experience for me & my tween/teens. We loved the variety of gators, birds, & reptiles. We also enjoyed the petting zoo & capybara experience. The zip line over the park was worth the ticket price. The zip line staff & gator wranglers were great. They were very energetic & knowledgeable & engaging. It was a hot day, but they had plenty of shade. It was Better than standing in lines at any of the amusement parks.

Lots to see, but not as much to do... unless you pay *MUCH* more. Every opportunity to interact or experience things first hand comes at an additional cost! Admission covers *looking* at animals and walking the park. If you want to ride anything, feed gators, or do any activities, you will have to pay extra for each thing you do. Fun to wander, but boring if you come to interact and engage.

Love it! You can easily spend a day there, with plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the shows, all the animals and the staff were amazing. Don't forget to bring some change so you can buy food and feed the birds/alligators. I would skip the train ride, a total waste of time. Also the restrooms could use some renovation, they were very small and not clean. Bottom line: I would go back :)

I visited Gatorland on 12/16/2020 with my friend Brian. We had an amazing time while at the park. I must say your staff was amazing. Very friendly, outgoing, and welcoming. First Michael who did the gator feeding amazing and hilarious guy. You can tell he loves what he does and loves the animals. Tina at the main gift shop was so welcoming and friendly. Scott was awesome, and meeting Chester was amazing. Even staff we walked by said hello and were very friendly. You can tell that your staff love what they are doing and love the animals they care for. Can not wait to go back again.

It was fun. They have a show where you can see how to handle a gator. At the end of the show, if you have a specific pass you can go over and get a picture with one of the gators. I have pictures I took from a video of one of the handlers. You can see snakes, parrots, turtles, etc. It was a great very first time here. Definitely suggest going there.

Visiting Florida with teenage daughters and wanted a chance to see the wildlife, mainly gators. Got a lot more than we bargained for. Three of us cost a $100, we stay for about 2 hours but honestly this could be an all day experience. For me, it was worth it. I The experience was unforgettable, staff was personable, and there was something for everyone. If given the chance I would return. Had a wonderful time.

This was so fun! I have relatives in the area that suggested some other spots but we decided to go with this iconic classic and we don't regret it! I got the Greater Gator package online while we were driving there and they were able to scan in the tickets right from my phone. If I did it again, I personally wouldn't get the Greater Gator package unless I was absolutely sure everyone would use it. Nobody in our group ended up using the train or photo op. Originally I decided to go for it to not have to worry about it later but it would be easy enough to add those things a la carte instead. Be aware that it is cheaper to get your tickets online in advance, even if you just sit and do it in the parking lot. Most of the park has some coverage so you can enjoy yourself even if it's raining. We got lucky and only had a slight misty drizzle, though it absolutely poured before we went in. Absolutely tons of gators and great shows! There are also tons of native birds, really fun to see and watch.

This was a really great experience for everyone in my family of 7! My mom totally loved it, my husband and I were having a great time, my 17, 14, and 13 year old teenagers even enjoyed themselves! They fed the alligators, which was CHEAP! Couldn't believe it! We did it a few times because of that, and my 7 year old non verbal autistic daughter had a great time and thought everything was great. Of course, she has no fear and wanted to zipline over the alligators which was a complete No, but that is an option- as well as other zip lines. They had a fantastic little water park for the smaller kids, which is really useful on your typical hot, muggy, Orlando days. We had a lemonade slush and it was delicious and also well priced!! I couldn't believe the low prices of the snacks along the way. We did not eat actual food because the kids still have a "time limit" on their ability to hold out during adventures and excursions- but we could have spent a lot longer there and found more great things to check out. The birds were awesome, and they were doing some construction so it would be cool to see what is happening there in the future! Free parking and it's close to the building. LOTS of photo oportunties! Keep up the excellent work Gator Land!! *One negative was the gift shop... of course things were all amazing, but even the t shirts were super expensive. So when going, expect to pay a few hundred dollars between admission, snacks, little treats (injection mold alligator creations, souvenir pennies, alligator feeding), adventures along the way, and of course, the gift shop.

We had an amazing time. My first time here and it was great. Friendly, funny staff, we couldn't have asked for a better day. It wasn't too hot lmmfao. The gators definitely put on a show for us. The Swamp walk took me to another place, very peaceful. Can't wait to return.

I always love to visit gator land . Visiting Florida several times a year . I always visit here every time. The amount of haters they have is awesome. Plenty of things to see and different animals. Beautiful walk around . 100% would recommend. Wheelchair friendly . Reasonably priced not extortionate. You will not regret it Bring plenty of water .

Been here twice and it's great for how cheap it is, especially if you're a local. Its corny, simple but enjoyable. Bring some quarters if you want to feed the flamingos and emus. You can also feed baby gators and adult ones for a cost. There's a small zoo with goats that can be fed, including a quick and cheap turtle encounter and capybara encounter. They have some free shows as well.

Have been visiting for decades. Finally became an annual pass holder and I couldn't be happier. As a birder and wildlife photographer, this is a great place to hone skills and just enjoy a good day out. Personally, I've taken thousands of photos here. This was the one place my son wanted to visit once more before moving cross country, and I love the fact that I have pics of him, in the same shows or exhibits, numerous times over the course of his life. It's a fantastic timeline to look back on. Gatorland is just so special to us for so many reasons. As a mom, a photographer, wildlife lover/ volunteer, and Floridian, I appreciate this place and all the people who are a part of it.

This is the third time I’ve been to Gatorland zoo in the last 38 years. I first went to Gatorland zoo in 1985 with my father and my sister as a youngster. The park was small, but really neat. It was basically just somewhere were alligators were raised from babies and you can go and watch and see them jump for chicken. Gatorland is far more than that now. Gatorland has grown to big park status. It’s a zoo you can go to and see crocodiles from around the world alligators from babies to massive beasts. You can see snakes go on a swamp walk. You can zip line across a gator pond. Everything is reasonably priced. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Gatorland for the whole family and plan on being there for quite a while.

Me & my Dad had a great time at Gatorland. I definitely recommend this location to bring your friends & family. Always show up early to see all the events, and you can actually feed gators 🐊

I love Gatorland! It’s a great way to spend an afternoon, and you can’t beat the Florida resident discount either (about $17 per adult with proof of FL residency as of Nov. ‘23). Late morning/early afternoon is the best time to visit, as the crowds weren’t too big and the gators were active. We always go straight to feed the young gators right after the entrance. I love seeing the baby gators, giant tortoises, and big cats. Make sure to stop and read the plaques posted around the park! They provide a lot of information about the animals, Gatorland’s conservation efforts, and the history of the park. There’s a free playground with a splash pad for kids, and beer/wine/seltzer sold throughout the park for the adults (with typical theme park pricing). There’s plenty of souvenirs, photo ops, and neat stuff in the gift shop. Gatorland is awesome!

Such an amazing experience to go with the family especially the kids. This place is crawling with alligators and crocodiles. Also has other amazing wildlife outdoors and indoors. They have several sections where you can feed the alligators and they jump to feed too. There’s an area where you can buy food and drinks also where you can take pictures with snakes. They have many shows throughout the day which we unfortunately wasn’t able to attend. Also, there is a train that takes you to different parts of the park. We paid for what seem to be like a monster truck ride and it took you in these healed areas. If you have back injuries, neck, injuries, or any surgeries prior history, I wouldn’t suggest because it does get very turbulent but if you can handle it, it is so so much fun, my family, my son, especially loved it so much it’s very interactive as well. To end the day they also have a small waterpark and it was the perfect way to end the day. This was in July, so it was in summer. It was really hot and my son went ahead and went to the waterpark and had so much fun. This park is really big. You can make a whole day out of it as there’s so much to it. It’s very beautiful and very educational.

I visited Gatorland on 12/26/23 with my 20-year old daughter and her boyfriend and we had a blast. Gatorland is a perfect destination for anyone of any age. We did the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line and I HIGHLY recommend booking this activity. The tour guides were safe, fun, and informative. It’s an experience you’ll want to try if you’re not afraid of heights.it was the activity highlight of the day. In total we spent about 6 hours in the park. Seeing all the gators, other animals, and fun shows make the visit fair for the cost. Gatorland is very well maintained and clean.

This is a great place for families! I really enjoyed it. At first, it seemed like because of the amount of time it took to get our tickets that it would be a chore to see the most sought-after attractions. This was not the case, however, and I would recommend that if you are debating on going to just go. I don't think you'll regret it.

My son and I just visited from Colorado and it was awesome. We did the trainer for the day. We were there 2 hours before they opened so we had the whole place to ourselves. Oscar was an amazing tour guide super funny and knowledgeable 👍 We got to do once in a lifetime things. I would fully recommend that package. We will come back and visit again😊

Larger park than I expected. Can easily spend a whole day there. Wasn't a fan of the swamp wall but everything else was neat. There are some large large gators there.

My family and I loved visiting here. This was their first time and even my teenager boys were engaged in the Gators and information given. This was my first time back in a few years and it was even better than the last time. We will be coming back soon to do the swamp rides! Thanks for providing a great family memory.

Fantastic experience. No crowds. No lines. Easy viewing of all the awesome animals. The shows are just the right length. Handlers are great and very entertaining. Monster truck ride through the gators was fun- short, but thrilling. Had a 5 year old and 10 year old- both loved it.

This place should be on everyone’s “must see” places in the Orlando area. It’s easy to get to and there’s something for everyone. I was amazed at how big this place is and could not believe just how many gators are there. Beautiful animals everywhere, not just gators but birds, huge tortoises, snakes, emus, Florida panthers...even caught a glimpse of a Skunk Ape from the train ride around he park ;) The best part was the Meet-A-Gator show. Our guides were fantastic! Funny and informative, they really are pros. You definitely need 3 to 4 hours or more to see it all. I’ll definitely visit again to see what might have missed.

1 Gator 2 Gator 3 gator is an understatement Their were Gators everywhere!! Most definitely outnumbered!!! Definitely was an amazing experience for the family during our time in Florida for Christmas!!! We arrived a little bit after 3:00 which not every activity was available but they offered a discounted rate which was great because we weren't able to see the whole park!! We received great customer service during our time at the park!! Definitely an unforgettable memory was made!!!

My first time at Gatorland and definitely won’t be my last. Saw many signs on the road and figured we add this destination to our agenda. We booked our tickets online before going and that was a great idea. When we arrived to the park we were able to skip a long line since we already had tickets. So if you plan on going - buy your tickets online ahead of time. Parking is free so that’s another plus. The park is really nice and kinda bigger than I expected. Amidst a pandemic, they have taken every necessary step to maintain social distancing, hand sanitizer stations almost everywhere. There’s a train ride for $2 which gives you a tour around the park. Lasts all about 10 mins but it’s definitely worth it. For $15 per person you can ride on a thrilling Truck ride which takes you to an off-road course behind the park which is very nice. The commentator and host of the ride is very funny and is filled with puns. There are many other animals other than alligators so it’s like a 2-1 park. You can also find many different food spots for those of you who may get hungry and thirsty. Weather was great so we enjoyed our visit and I was really intrigued to see almost every person wearing masks and the park employees sanitizing rides and frequently touched areas.

This place exceeded my expectations! The staff was awesome. They had short, cute and funny shows. The quirky signs about the details and personalities of their residence were an entertaining read. At the Florida 9.99 rate this place was a steal. They offered many extras all at a reasonable rate. For souvenirs, pictures, snack, feeding, train, mud buggy ride we spent just over a $100 for 2. Well worth the great day we had here!!!

Many many alligators and some other reptiles and animals. There are shows with alligators and snakes and etc. The zipline is a great experience too. There are some improvements that I think Gatorland should consider including having a separate line for online ticket holders and better signage in the map and field.

What a great place to visit if you are ever in the Central Florida region. And if you're not try to drive to it. First , a percentage of your purchase goes to wildlife. Secondly try to arrive around 11 and ask about feeding the gators; it's an additional $10. You will be about a foot away, feeding some of the biggest gators you have ever seen. It's not only gators they have snakes turtles and a bunch of florida native birds flying around. It's not expensive at all when compared to the surrounding parks. And the staff I'd super friendly I couldn't believe it. Everyone was nice.

  • 5/5 Jane A. 2 years ago on Google
A full day of entertainment. It was fun. The performances were funny and had good participation opportunities. The last attraction was standup only which made it impossible for people in wheelchairs to see. Good variety of show times. Enough gift shop options. The grounds are laid out nicely for walking or folks with wheel chairs. Nice displays of birds. Also a splash pad for kids.

  • 5/5 Shan 1 year ago on Google
Excellent palce to visit with the family. Lots of alligators to see. You can feed them too if you want. Few shows too. Specially the experience to sit on top of a live gator for a picture is unforgettable for kids (and adults too). The show entertainers are very good and funny . You won't get bored.

  • 5/5 Charlene B. 8 months ago on Google
Gatorland is all that! Great experience for the young and old alike. Veterans are freely admitted, which I loved 😍. The animals were placid, beautiful, and appeared well cared for. The bird feeding experience was wonderful yet a little messy to some of the "lucky" ones. The staff were ALL wonderful. Highly recommended if in the "Disney " area.

  • 5/5 Karen C. 9 months ago on Google
As an "out of towner" this was nice and affordable to visit. Would also be perfect to plan to spend a few hours there if you have children small enough for the splash pad. Next time we visit we'll DEFINITELY do the nighttime walk. But I'd suggest do both! It's beautiful in the day time. Looooots of gators and other wildlife as well. And they have shows all day too if you're into that. - I personally would rather the gators get the food more often than what I seen in the show, but to each his own. I did not anticipate how absolutely hot it was. There are fan stations but I'd recommend bringing a large bottle of ice water and maybe even a fan necklace. We did not do any attractions however they do have several.

A really cool experience. Lots of gators to enjoy and many other animals. Id give it 5 stars but the food was sooooo bad! Quality was poor so take your own snacks. The live shows are a must they’re funny and entertaining

  • 5/5 Dani B. 9 months ago on Google
Very pleasantly surprised by how affordable this place is and how much there is to do for the price of admission. It's very well maintained and clean. The extra items to feed animals are affordable and made interacting with the animals interesting and fun for my kids. We fed gators fishbon a pole, tossed gator treats to a huge lake of gators, fed flamingos and for 10$ extra (per person) we got to feed and pet 3 capybaras! It was a great experience, and I'm glad I took my family. They also have a great splash area to cool off, which made visiting in the summer heat tolerable.

  • 5/5 C W. 9 months ago on Google
This was a very interesting place to visit for the kids/adults....just seeing how many alligators were there and how they interacted with the staff was something to see, plus several other animals and the goats lol! my grands loved the interactions and the adults, too!!! There's a water play area for the kids and a nice park for them to play and cool off! also, if you need assistance in walking, they have electric scooters for $28.00, and it made it easier to get around!!! The gator bites were a 1st for us, and they weren't too bad it's worth a try too!! I'd definitely go if you haven't been. I enjoyed the afternoon at Gatorland!!! Nice and helpful staff!!! Prices we not too bad and there's some small discounts on line. Go and enjoy!😉

This place was so much fun for all of us. We really enjoyed the shows and the exhibits. They really should consider running two-three trains. I have to imagine that’s their highest complaint because really there isn’t anything else to complain about. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed to enjoy working there. The gators were very cool to see as well and had very spacious and well kept habitats. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know traveling to Orlando. Even my mom was able to sit on a gator. How cool?!

  • 5/5 David D. 8 months ago on Google
Really fun and relatively cheap "theme park" and zoo. Heavy focus obviously on gators and loads of them to see. But awesome selection of birds and a few big cats too. There's a few different, entertaining shows. Food is a bit expensive but the gift shop options are good. Really worth a full day trip, in my opinion.

  • 4/5 Mireille M. 8 months ago on Google
The best kept secret we didn’t know we would love. We had a blast at Gatorland. It was hot, and steamy but the cool part is the splash pad for kids. My kiddos loved watching the jumping gator show and learning fun facts. Well worth the money and trip I’d suggest going before summer hits head on though.

  • 5/5 Vanessa B. 8 months ago on Google
This place is the best!! We spent money to feed the gators, ride the train, the petting zoo and see the Capybaras. However money is well spent as it is also a conservation place so in my opinion money is going to a good place! The shows are entertaining. Definitely could have spent the whole day there and will be coming back. There are more than just gators to view. The pictures are expensive and digital pictures should cost $20 for a picture we are downloading.

  • 4/5 Carrie F. 8 months ago on Google
This was such a fun experience for my 15 year old and my 22 year old. We made memories with doing silly things like the VERY short train ride and feeding the birds (we all loved that the birds would fly onto us and feed from our sticks)!!!! Purchasing gator food is a MUST! It is fun watching how different the gators react to getting the food- in the different areas. I’m sure my kids will one day take their kids here and repeat the process! Also there is a small splash pad with a park for the young ones which is EXCELLENT for them when it is super hot!

Very informative, lots of fun and a reasonable price. You do have to pay extra for some things, eg, feeding the alligators, photos with the alligators, etc, but a lot of these activities are around ten dollars. They have cafes, toilets and drinking fountains. Some shaded areas and lots of alligators and crocodiles. Staff were great, and the shows were excellent.

  • 5/5 Óscar C. 6 months ago on Google
Excellent experience!!! It's the best way to see these magnificent animals face to face. You can even feed the young gators!! Everything is perfectly safe, and the staff cares a lot for these animals... you can see all the place in about 3-4 hours, 100% recommended!!

As the name suggest this place is full of gators. Great day out for all ages with plenty of things to see and do. Plenty of shade for when it's really hot. Feed the gators was a real hit with our party of 8. The gator shows were good, the kids enjoyed them. Free parking 👍

  • 5/5 John P. 7 months ago on Google
We visited Gatorland again since going there in 2004. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, and it was packed! We had to park in overflow parking and it was free to park. I got a great deal being a military vet. So even though there was a lot people, that never was a problem moving around and seeing the gators in the park, because they have wide walkways and plenty of seating to view the shows. They have other fun things to do now that they did not have before. Like ziplining over the gators. A climbing place for kids, a petting and feeding enclosure for the kids. They have an off road adventure also. So they have much more things to do and it was a lot better this time around. Don't forget the main attraction and that is plenty of gators of all shapes and sizes!

This place was great. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much but had a wonderful time! Spent a few hours walking around, checking out the gators & other animals, walking through swamp, watching gator wrestling & eating ice cream. Wear good shoes because you do a good amount of walking if you want to experience the place.

The handlers are very talented and a delight. We spent 3 hours at gatorland until closing. I wish we had arrived earlier. Enjoyed feeding the gators with fishing poles and large food balls. Fun for all ages.

  • 5/5 Tristan R. 4 months ago on Google
Much bigger than I expected. We spent almost 3 hours inside and still didn't see or do everything. Easily could have spent a full day inside if we did every activity available. Lots of things to do with just the standard entrance fee, but also many more things to do for an additional cost or a higher tier ticket. Feeding the gators was our favorite and it's right at the entrance (this is an additional fee for the gator food). Tons of gators to see all over, and some crocodiles, birds, turtles, and other wildlife. Whole area is stroller friendly except for specific exhibits. Overall a great place to see tons of gators.

Overall this is a great place and I would highly recommend it for anybody looking to see and possibly hold a gator. Your kids will absolutely love this place along with you. I recommend this do any family looking to experience an outside environment much like a zoo.

My husband even spotted two wild otters when we walked through the swamp trail!!!! Food was sooooo affordable. That Doritos walking taco and ice caramel frappe was amazing. We will be back, we live three aways away. Thank you for everything

We arrived 30 minutes opening, by the time it opened a fairly decent line had formed. This was a fantastic experience for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. The only downside was there are so many extra things that aren’t included in the $34 ticket price. Feeding the goats & gators = extra $. Feeding and entrance into the Bird Exhibit = extra $. Capybara Experience = extra $ plus a few other options. All in all, a fun time with a lot of photo ops & lots of animals to look at.
