Really relaxing. Love the view of the water and watching the boats. A lot of people last night and traffic was heavy, however the views were amazing! I am always in Downtown St. Peter and have been going there for many years. This is also a great place to watch the 4th of July fireworks and walk around the new pier and visit the Restaurants on the water!

Beautiful waterfront park with walking paths and lots of trees. Restrooms close to the volleyball courts. Parking can be crazy when there are events going on.

Great park to sit and enjoy the beauty and action of DTSP waterfront. Dolphins will often say hello from the sea wall. Great area to hammock in. You can walk in either direction and find lots of interesting spots. Bathrooms are about a half mile north at North Shore Park.

A waterfront park with many paths, trails and walkways to exercise or just take a leisurely walk around while enjoying the amazing views. In addition to the wonderful nature views, there are many spots to do activities for all ages including parks for kids, beachside volleyball courts, garden walks, outdoor gym and lawns to have a picnic on. Occasionally there is the opportunity to see dolphins swimming by up close!

Very nice park. I see why everyone goes there. Awesome place to watch sunrise/sunset. Everyone there very friendly. Squirrels also approach you. I recommend bringing some nuts or something for the Squirrels. I had 1 Squirrel following me and waiting for food but I didn't bring anything, so I felt bad because I came empty handed. Love the atmosphere of this park. 👌

Awesome park! You can take a long walk next to the water with a shoreline beach. There are restrooms along the way and plenty of places to sit on a bench, have a picnic, string up a hammock. The views are impeccable! You can grab a sailboat ferry to and from Tampa. Tennis courts and pool are nearby, too! This park is near restaurants and other shopping, too. Great park to visit!!!

Vinoy Park, nestled along the stunning waterfront of Tampa Bay, is nothing short of a paradise for those seeking natural beauty and tranquility. This remarkable park has captured my heart with its awe-inspiring vistas and serene atmosphere. The waterfront view from Vinoy Park is simply breathtaking. Gazing out over Tampa Bay as the sun sets is a mesmerizing experience, and it's the perfect spot for a romantic evening or a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Cleanliness is a hallmark of Vinoy Park. The well-maintained pathways, neatly trimmed lawns, and the absence of litter showcase the dedication of the park's staff to ensuring a pristine environment. It's a place where you can truly connect with nature without any distractions. The park is a fantastic place for recreation as well, with wide-open spaces for picnics, yoga, or simply laying out a blanket to soak up the sun. The presence of playgrounds and facilities like clean restrooms make it family-friendly and accommodating for visitors of all ages. Vinoy Park is a testament to St. Petersburg's commitment to preserving its natural beauty and offering a peaceful retreat for residents and visitors alike. If you haven't experienced the tranquility and charm of Vinoy Park, you're missing out on one of Tampa Bay's most exquisite treasures.

I run through here about 3 times a week and just snapped these pics today as I did. It’s a great park along the water a lot of time you can catch dolphins out in the distance or even up against the water.

There was Festival of speed car show. Not as many cars as previous years, but great place to enjoy with family or just kids. Love to spend some time there.

Spacious, lots of free parking. Good views and some nice volleyball courts. Not really a destination location, but if you are in the area it's a nice stop.

Very big, parking in the street and other spots, host festivals usually and pretty views of the bay. A great walk and clean!

Vinoy Park is an absolute gem of a location in St. Petersburg, Florida. It's a beautiful and well-kept park that is perfect for a variety of activities. It's located right on the waterfront, so you can enjoy stunning views of the bay while you stroll, run or bike along the paths. One of the best features of Vinoy Park is its size. It's large enough to accommodate a wide variety of activities, yet it still manages to maintain a cozy and welcoming feel. There's plenty of space to have a picnic, fly a kite, play frisbee or even just lounge around and enjoy the scenery. In addition to its natural beauty, Vinoy Park also has a number of great amenities. There are plenty of clean restrooms, drinking fountains, and shaded areas to sit and relax. The park also has a playground, so it's a great place to take kids. Overall, I highly recommend Vinoy Park to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor experience in St. Pete. It's a fantastic place to spend a sunny afternoon with friends and family, and you won't be disappointed by the stunning views and lovely atmosphere.

Vinoy Park is an absolute gem for sunrise enthusiasts. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the most breathtaking sunrise at this picturesque location, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The serene atmosphere and the gentle lapping of waves against the shore create a tranquil ambiance that is simply unmatched. As the first rays of sunlight break through the horizon, the sky transforms into a mesmerizing canvas of colors, casting a warm and ethereal glow over the surroundings. The unobstructed views of the sunrise at Vinoy Park are truly a sight to behold. Whether you're enjoying a peaceful moment of solitude or sharing the experience with loved ones, the beauty of this place is bound to leave an indelible impression. The park's well-maintained pathways and comfortable seating areas provide the perfect vantage point to witness the spectacle of nature unfolding. It's a place where time seems to stand still as you're immersed in the beauty of the moment. If you're seeking a serene and awe-inspiring spot to watch the sunrise, Vinoy Park is undoubtedly a top choice. Its natural beauty, combined with the tranquil ambiance, make it an excellent destination for those who appreciate the magic of early morning moments.

This area is so nice. Public restrooms right by the playground, beach right next door and a competitive swim meet. People had hammocks up between the trees.

We went here for the reggae Rise Up festival from Pittsburgh PA. It was our first visit and it was an amazingly beautiful large Park. The festival was cute and I definitely recommend but the park what three times if not five times as big as the area the festival took up. It is right on the water absolutely beautiful. Boats can go right up people wear swimming there are sidewalks large dog park areas places to play Frisbee it's perfect for any age and any outdoor activity absolutely gorgeous.

Favorite place to go with the family! The trail is smooth and up-kept enough to safely rollerblade with my baby in his stroller. We love stopping to watch dolphins at the sea wall and there are benches and spots of shade everywhere. During the summer months, there are a couple corners of the sea wall that collect debris and with the heat, the smell can be unpleasant, but it’s only an occasional issue. I’ve been coming here for years, to walk, to hammock, and now to spend time on the trail or at the park with my son. It’s worth the half hour drive for us, no contest.

We live down the street and walk there all the time. Excellent park, well maintained and busy most of the day. Artists, local pups, co-ed volleyball and tennis, fishing, kite boarders, never a bad time. I, CHRISTINE, PERSONALLY: ALWAYS PICK UP AT LEAST A PUBLIX SIZED BAG OF TRASH EACH TIME I GO! Be like Christine. Our coastline, city and community** is worth it. Engage with everything that you enjoy! The waterfront strip from Vinoy all the way up to Straub is a beautiful piece of free to use -public space-. Please, don't ruin something so appreciated by everyone that is quickly becoming more difficult to find. ❤️

Beautiful sensory friendly playground right on the water. Not fenced, and would not be a good venue for kids who struggle with elopement. Otherwise fantastic with a variety of equipment for all ages.

Beautifully decorated park, no cost for strolling around the park, unlike some places where there's a cost to enjoy the lighting

Vinoy Park is a very relaxing park to walk in. You can walk right by the water or relax on the grass. There are volleyball courts. They sometimes host events in the park. The sunsets are really amazing. It is clean and well-maintained. You can also visit the arboretum nearby.

Love this place, I used to go on morning walks along the trails of the park with plenty of friendly people on our path. Everyone is so nice around here it must be the sites, nature, trees, amenities, beach, volleyball courts, workout zone, bathroom installation or the sight seen of the beautiful properties across in Snell Island.

I love Vinoy Park. I’ve been coming here for many years. They always have something going on. It’s really a cheerful place to go and relax a lot of people come to hang their hammocks, bike ride, skates, scooters, etc. a lot of people come to walk their dogs and let the children play in the park there’s plenty of room and space, and it’s just amazing scenery and a great place to take a walk and clear your mind or sit out a blanket and have a picnic and read a book. I love it there.

I haven't found a picnic area, yet. It's a gorgeous park though. Always clean. Dog friendly. Families everywhere. Squirrels that will come to you from being hand fed. Just be careful at night as it is a place that the homeless can sleep and not get bothered much. That being said, it's never been an issue I've personally experienced.

This is my favorite park in St Pete. It's a great park to bike, skate, walk your dog, play Frisbee, picnic, read, use the small beach area. It's like a center piece of the local community. We see dolphins every time we are there.

First time inside Reggae Rise Up at Vinoy Park! It was an overcast day and had rained at some point but you couldn't tell from the behavior of the crowd at this outdoor event. It was an incredible experience...

Absolute disgrace for St Pete's waterfront! There's hardly any grass left. It's a giant sand pit. Dirt doesn't describe well enough bc you sink down the same way you do walking in beach sand. It's very painful for anyone with any ortho injuries. For ppl paying to attend events, their paying a high dollar to get filthy and coat their food in filth. For the amount of revenue pulled in by all these events, you would think St. Pete could at least sod & put in an irrigation system with reclaimed water. There has to be an eco-friendly solution that beautifies and is functional.

Beautiful park. Great for exercising, watching the water, seeing dolphins, playing volleyball / tennis or just hanging on the small beach. (photo taken on 4th of July)

Many reasons to swing by here or spend a weekend in st Pete... First time taking some time to myself on my birthday... Time well invested! Invest in Florida, travel and stay local... Freedom blue print. We are all one family.

If you wanna catch a glimpse of a dolphin swimming around, or just relax and watch the clouds turn pink at sunset, this is a lovely place to relax. It's serene, and quiet, and people can be seen setting up hammocks on the trees while they work on their laptops. Not a bad way to spend the evening. Just watch out for red tide, it's stinks to high heaven!

Fun, Fun! I was there for the St. Anthony's Triathlon. So peaceful and calm. It did rain and it got windy. Despite, had a fantastic time. Beint a tad selfish here, but met my Son and my Precious Granddaughter. So, it was a blessed weekend! Thanks Vinoy Park and St. Petersburg! The Park is fabulous!

Beautiful with the new pier, the walk ways near the water, yachts, dolphins, birds, downtown restaurants, hotels.... I've been coming here for years. So relaxing and Beautiful!!!

  • 4/5 Robert N. 2 years ago on Google
A wonderful waterfront park that hosts throughout the year many of St. Pete's premier events. Dozens of festivals, musical events, food events and much more. A wonderful place to walk, jog, dog walk, picnic, ride, skate and play. Todays event was an art festival with some incredible artists. Last week was the Blues festival. Unfortunately, during events the roads are closed and a very long walk awaits. A nightmare for senoirs and the handycapped. No park-n-rides, trolleys or event transportation. I avoid many events due to lack of suitable access. You would think the great minds of St. Pete could come up with a solution, after all a lot of disposable income in the pockets of seniors.

Shopalooza at Vinoy Park!! Throughly enjoyed this local event!! Everyone was so friendly there was many food trucks, booths, seating area. I found a beautiful handmade original piece of art. What a beautiful way to start the day in my hometown.
