We had the blast at this water park over the week. They have fun water slides and good food. We relaxed and listened to the water for hours. They have plenty of space for you. The unique idea of giving everyone a bracelet to ride the water slides and not lose your place in line is great. We will be back🤗

This place was larger than I expected. Get there by 10am and still able to find lounges in shaded areas. Loved the bands to scan onto a virtual line. Good number of fun water slides or stay at the river float for several rounds, not boring because there will be huge waves of water rushing through now and then. Attached is slides and one of kiddie pool, this one is tiny but quiet. Much larger kiddie at another area. Great to relax, nap or read, if you don't want to get wet.

What can I say about volcano Bay second time going and this is the best waterpark there is in Florida. It’s not as expensive and being a Florida resident you get a discount for each ticket. We went in July and it was very very hot so I suggest getting some waterproof shoes so you’re not walking barefoot the whole time because your feet will burn. There is some long wait times of course we went in summer when there’s no school and most families are going to the park, there was long wait times but it was a lot of fun. They give you this wristband that you can use to tap and lock your place in line which is awesome because then you can go to other rides that do not require for you to wait or tap in. You can just go wait for probably a short amount of time, do the ride and still be in line for your main ride I hope that makes sense. They do have shops where you can buy anything you need in case you forgot. They also have lockers so that you can put your stuff away. They do have spots where you can buy food you can get on the app to order these foods ahead of time. Also, the alcoholic drinks are amazing there, they taste great and can be pricey. You can get a souvenir cup that you can take home as well. Just make sure you put it in your locker cause you won’t be able to go down the rides with those. 🤣

Terrific way to spend the day. Easily the best water park I've ever visited. Activities for all ages such as drop slides to lazy rivers and beach chairs. The raging river is my favorite.

The park is amazing and the theme is beautiful but everything else need to be organized! I went to the volcano bay with my family and with my mom. I pick weekdays (every couple of years we visiting the Orlando parks it’s my routine) it’s busy even then, I don’t wanna deal with weekends “traffic” ! Park is so much fun,we all had a great time with lots of laughs ! My mom 74 she was able to take some easy rides and enjoy the pool at the volcano . My kids I meet with them couple of times lol (18 and 14) that park for that age ! I love the ice cream shops there that’s what I had all day. The watch for the rides and for the locker terrible, my kids lose it on the slides twice. It’s not a best idea or figure out some different belt for it. Also if you wanna buy a water, soda juice you can’t! You need to set up your card with your watch I didn’t do that ! So I carried and used my card when we needed something! I buy a waterproof case it’s good for your phone and for your card. Also you can take funny videos on the slides! Overall the park beautifully made I love every details! The soda, water station need friendly workers. On the slides the stuff did great job. Not just this, but every park in Orlando need to limited how many people they let in, or if they do, they need to limited much more less …! People pay a lot there to have fun not just for waiting for a slides or rides.

We had a lot of fun here this Christmas of 2021!we stayed at endless summer resort and took a bus to the park! The volcano bay reminds me of Hawaii a lot with music and views and that volcano is just fantastically built ! We went down from all of the slides and the ones in volcano are the scariest ones 😃 we used the express pass for 2 slides as there were 60 minute way and you can only be in line for 1 slide at the time ( the one thing i didn’t like). Under than that it was a lot of fun!

Going in November was wonderful. Nearly every slide was a walk on, the weather was beautiful and the team members were so kind. It was very beautiful. You can't drive there so you must park in the parking garage and take their transportation. Busses run frequently.

Volcano Bay is one of the best water parks we've been to! The wave pool is huge and beautiful! Lots of different kinds of slides and water coaster. There are two different rivers, one lazy and one not so lazy. Beautiful sandy beaches with ample places to sit and soak up the sun. The food is not bad for a theme park. If you stay at Cabana Bay, there is a path that you can walk from the hotel to the park. Also, if you stay at one of the Universal resorts, definitely take advantage of the early hour before the park opens to the public.

We had an absolute blast here! We went on a Saturday and arrived relatively late (1:00PM), but we still managed to get on nearly every ride we wanted to, with a minimal wait. The virtual lines are such a wonderful idea! Additionally, the day we went, the park was not crowded and we were actually comfortable throughout the day. The food was decent too, for a theme park. The staff are all very friendly and seem like they enjoy their job, which makes for much better experience. Additionally, the covered parking is a HUGE plus in comparison to other theme parks. The only downside is that they don't seem to offer annual passes for just Volcano Bay. Regardless, we will be going again and again; highly recommend!

We had the blast at this water park. It’s a lot of fun… we paid $27 for parking and paid $90.53 including tax for this park which worth it. I recommend to buy the tickets one day ahead online. I checked the price was $70. As an Architect, the Volcano bay was built very nicely with fantastic views… the landscaping was perfect… they gave us a watch for not standing in the line… So you should tab at any ride and reserve your spot then you can enjoy your time in the rivers or where it does not have any waiting time…the idea of having it is really good but sometimes it had a glitch… for a ride we had to wait for 255 minutes we were walking back to somewhere else and saw the waiting time is 120 at the tab location but our watch was still 235 minutes and not updated…Or the timing in every watch was not the same, in our group of 4 one of us got you can ride now or something like that but the rest were showing 25 min, 20 min, 35 min… which it was wired…but overall having it to not standing on a line worth these glitches… I hope they update these watches to not having this kind of issues… I highly recommend to try this park, you will enjoy it for sure…

I had an AMAZING day at the park!!!! The wristband system is something every water park should use! The staff was friendly, park was clean, the environment really does make you feel like you’re on your own island! That volcano is WOW!!! My bf and I were able to enjoy the wave pool and both lazy rivers while waiting in the virtual line. The water coaster is the best ride in the park! We had early access due to our resort and it definitely has it perks! The walk up for the rides killed us especially the rides at the top of the mountains 😩😩 food was good but please pack your own waters!! Overall, I’m so happy we visited this park!

This park was absolutely amazing, This is the best water park I have ever been to and the design and creativity blew me out of the 💦! I highly recommend going to this park if you’re in Orlando or stop by to see the other two Orlando theme parks. Me and my daughter were able to get through all the slides twice each and spent two hours in the wave pool. On top of that, we had an amazing meal at one of the restaurants in the park. The chicken sandwich was different but delicious and so was the burger. The staff on all the rides were excellent as well as the staff helping in the restaurant. The lockers are a bit pricy I will say, but that usually comes with a water park and they are available all day. The atmosphere blew me away. It’s an absolute must if you enjoy water parks in the slightest bit. Have fun! We sure did.

Great place, you can bring snacks, drinks, etc in so it will help for large families. A Hot-dog is $15 and believe me, not a great size or taste at all.. better to get the Hamburger combo for few dollars more. Floor is super hot so I recommend to bring beach/water shoes...have fun.

I honestly love this water park especially with being an AP member the perks are great. The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because the TapuTapu watches as well as the express passes are kind of pointless they should just combine them together for the most part you might as well just stand in the regular line. I also think they could improve on the waves for the wave pool they’re kind of lame but other than that I think the environment is really cool the water rides are awesome and the water is heated to 80 degrees which is nice with living in Florida and it’s a little cooler now.

My favourite water park in the Orlando area by far. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and some of the best theme park food you will find especially from a water park. The Tapu system allows you to tap into the ride of your choice and then go enjoy the park whilst waiting in a virtual queue. There are two rivers to join. A great splash pad for children. A number of bays and areas with seating and not to forget the wave pool which the staff do a clapping style dance which everyone in the water then soon pick up on and start doing in sync with the drumming music which is the apart for the start of the waves. When the tapu system alerts you, you join a much shorter physical queue so feels like you are getting much more out of your day.

Great park, the rides are a blast and the staff was friendly. If you rent a cabana they let you in the park early which is cool. Everyone gets a waterproof wrist watch type device that allows you to join virtual cues for rides that have a wait which is a awesome. Then when it's your time you can walk right on the ride.

Amazing water park to spend the day with the family and friends. So many rides and thrills from small slides to the the tallest body slide in America the Ko'okiri Body Plunge!!! The place has a lot of seating and relaxing areas spread across the park, almost every main attraction has a rest area with sand and lounging chairs outside of it. Many food options and places to buy drinks as well. Highly recommend it!

Amazing place. Was my first time over there. We went early we got a place, if you arrive early you can get a really good place, if not you will have to pay, the lockers are $20 for the day, the food is not expensive and is good, when you arrive to the place they give to you a watch, with that watch you can go to the attractions and clock in for you waiting time. The place is beautiful, it's gorgeous. I really love it and enjoy it.

My experience at this water park was amazing. I had a really great time on all the rides. The environment was really great and made me feel like I was in Hawaii. The bracelets they give upon entry were wonderful and served many purposes such as using a virtual queue, paying for items, and tracking your park photos. Many of the rides had a photo opportunity so that worked out great. There were also a few spots in the park where you could take a self photo with your bracelet. I loved the virtual queue since I could relax or do something else while I was waiting. The employees were also very helpful and made you feel welcome. The food quality was very good as well and easy to order with my bracelet for payment at the register. The only complaint is that some of the pavements are slippery when you don't have shoes since you have to return to the shoe dropoff after the ride. Overall this was an excellent experience and by far my favorite water park at this point as I have been to many in some other major parks in the country.

I'm not a water park person, but this place was a ton of fun! The save your place in line works great and allows you to bounce from one side of the park to the other without worry. The food was also decent by theme park standards. Do not skip this gem when visiting Universal. Your family will thank you.

Great family spot! Loved the layout. Like how they spray the walkways so your feet dont burn! Kids loved the big play tiki tot area and the wave pool! Most slides were ride now, which was great! Wish they had more than one ramp to get the main pool /wave pool area, but overall, easy to deal with a stroller!

We had amazing time at Volcano Bay! The rides were great. The TapuTapu system is good for the most part but it would have been great if you could either reserve at least 2 rides at the time or one ride and be able to wait in line at another one. Unfortunately there’s no waiting in line at all so if your reserve time slot for a specific ride is an hour away you’d have to wait either by the wave pool, or maybe grab a bite to eat until then. For most of the day we managed to easily get on most of the rides we wanted to and we had an amazing time! It quickly became one of our favourite water parks.

One of the best organized water parks that I have been to. The thought that has went into this park is pretty amazing. From the sprayers on the concrete to keep your feet from getting too hot, to the wristband that helps keep track of wait times on the rides. It makes it so you don’t have to spend the day standing in line you can do other things while your time is counting down. The only downside was that you have to pay for towel rentals and we were staying on a universal hotel property and they did not let us know that or we would’ve just bought hotels towels. Highly recommend this waterpark.

I went there with my girlfriend and man we had fun 🤣. All the rides are full of adrenaline and what I liked the best was that at the entrance they put you in a bracelet that looks like a watch. With this bracelet you can open the locker, and you can scan it at every ride or slide entrance to know how much you'll have to wait for you to go in the ride. So once you scan it at the entrance of each ride, it will tell you how much time you have left until it is your turn. This way you don't have to wait in line and waste your time, you can use that time to go for another ride with less waiting time or grab something to eat. The weather was super nice, I mean it is Florida.

Decided to go to Volcano Bay as had a 14 day ticket pass. I’m not a huge fan of water park slides but decided to give a few a try and also the coaster which was great. One side I was too heavy to go on my own or something, the person wasn’t very good at explaining why - especially when 2 adults were going down and their combined weight would have been same/more. Also the locker for my backpack was $20, I am sure there were cheaper options my bag could have fitted into but the person at the lockers seemed to not even let me try, I was only there a few hours so this was on the expensive side. The wave machine, lazy rivers, volcano, and coaster are the best parts.

so we went during October we decided to rent a cabana. The process is very easy and early access line was a bit long but we were able to get in just minutes before it open. staff was absolutely outstanding. This is our first time for a birthday party. They brought our sons a very sweet dessert and both my boys had a really great time. It was also very helpful when the rain came in to have a cabana because we were able to close the curtains. and the nice thing was we were pretty close to the Toddler area. Food was fairly good not but overall I would definitely recommend coming to volcano bay

Volcano Bay is definitely one of the best water parks we have visited. The teen family members we were traveling with are already asking to go back! We visited in December and it was not too busy so there was zero wait for most of the rides. We stayed in one of the cabanas and the attendants were quick to assist with any questions or requests.

For the most part this was great. But if you need a scooter to get around you aren't going to enjoy much. Just about all the seating in on sand so you have to park and walk on sand, not comfortable for the mobility impaired. Not many of the rides do not involve climbing tons of stairs, again not feasible for some of us. I was able to enjoy the lazy river. Other than that, I got to sit and wait on the rest of my party to enjoy the rides that looked like fun. I did have a tiny lizard that kept me company during one wait.

This place is beautiful, the water is very clean, park is very clean and the rides are fun! I love how they allow you to bring in your own water and snacks. Only issue is the elevators to the rides were broken, so I couldn't go on any slides since I use a wheelchair. But there are plenty of other things to do and the rest of the family was able to go on the slides since there were plenty of places to wait for them. We all had a great time!

Hands down the best water park in the USA. We booked an extended trip back in 2020 after we had originally had to cancel right when COVID hit and finally we were able to go in October of 2020 to do Universal, Disney & Volcano Bay. To this day Volcano Bay is still our favorite of everything we did. Rented the cabana and the service was great very conveniently placed to everything.

SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE! MUST GO! My brother and I took a trip to Orlando/Kissimmee and decided to head to Volcano Bay. Best decision we made! It is such an idyllic and relaxing environment to be a part of. We got the wristbands that saved our place in line to popular rides while we roamed the park and enjoyed other water rides. It worked well for the most part. We still found ourselves getting there and still having to wait in a line (shorter than the general line though). Our favorite ride was the rapid lazy river where everyone who enters must wear a life vest. The life vests were so buoyant they comfortably kept your head above the water while you cruised around fairly fast in the warm heated water. If you are lucky, your timing lines up with the occasional massive wave the keeps the river flowing. We ate at one of the on site food courts which was your typical amusement park concession like meals. We also relaxed at a themed beach bar and enjoyed some drinks. The well designed park provides plenty of areas to lounge out and relax. The best ride is the main one at the top of the volcano.... WILD ride down! PARKING TIP: We parked are vehicle at the nearby Walmart and took an uber to the very front entrance area. ALERT: Volcano Bay has a bus pickup area prior to the boardwalk entrance and security area. Be sure to get on the bus and not enter the wrong park or you'll just have to turn around after waiting in line. TIP: Bring a towel, sun shades, and water shoes (your feet will get tore up without protection).

Volcano Bay is a great place 2 be when the weather is great for it, and in Florida, you wouldn't have much of a problem with that. The rides are fun and the wristband system is great! You scan in a ride and it has a timer to let you know when it's your turn.. it would be much better if you were able to have multiple timers on it and I recommend bringing your hotel towels with you if you don't want to rent a towel for $6 each

Spending the day here was unexpected. The water park is massive. It looks so small from the highway. First….Whoever designed parks for Universal needs credit. The team knows how to use the space they have to create amazing experiences. The design team needs to be recognized. I would never have expected how much Universal can pack so much into such a small footprint and make it functional. Volcano Bay and the staff definitely look after the guests; they look after the experience making sure the guests have a fun and safe day. Everyone here is a professional. I was just satisfied relaxing on a chair taking in the sun, spending time in the massive wave pool and the lazy river. The food is top of its game. The adult drinks were terrific and I was happy to see the tiki huts and restaurants severed beer. The Tapu Tapu and app made the entire day painless, functional and stress free. Tapu Tapu should be implemented at all parks. Staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Super clean park. Super super safe experience as everyone is looking out for the best interest of the guests. Overall, what a lovely, amazing day.

We came on Christmas Eve with three other families of teenagers and fifth graders. We were concerned about the water might be cold. The heated water was cooled off by the breeze, but still was the warmest place. The entire place was designed very well, with a great deal of attention to detail. We enjoyed the food. It was clean and not as I anticipated. The kids enjoyed the park very much. The younger ones were cold and explorer the mini rides as much. They enjoyed the tubing.

I absolutely love Volcano Bay! I am an Orlando native so when I heard about Wet & Wild being re-branded and renovated into this I was excited. I finally was able to come here years after and I am amazed by the beautiful aesthetics here, I didn't even feel like I was in Florida anymore! The empanadas they still are top tier, very addicting. The reason as to why I put two stars is because the wristbands they give are an absolute scam! I notice a lot of theme parks around the globe are now adding a feature to where you have to make reservations to get onto a ride, which defeats the whole purpose of the waterpark. We came to the park at 4PM (last minute plan), on a Monday, it was full in the park which surprised me. We tried getting on the rides but they were all up to 1+ hour! While we waited we got on the lazy river, wave pool, & fast river, which were very fun! It started to rain, and the park was close to closing hours so a lot of people left the park, and we left without getting into any rides because of the wristbands! We were highly upset because we look forward to get on the rides. We spoke to the staff there and they gave us two free tickets to come again but we can only come at 2PM.. So take precaution when getting your tickets, no matter how early or late you are you will never get into any rides. Waste of time.

Had a great time at this water park. Stayed next door at Cabana Bay so coming here couldn’t be easier. Rented a cabana for the day which made everything super special. Lots of slow rides and fast ones to freak you out. The lazy River and fast river are both very worth the ride. Expect a long walk up the volcano for a few of the body slides down through it from the top. Bring crocs.

Volcano Bay has been my favorite water park since moving to Orlando. They have amazing rides and their virtual queue is so nice compared to other water parks as I hate waiting in line. I love that they offer a lazy river AND a rapid river, they’re by far my favorite attractions. Lots of slides and drops, rides, and good food and ice cream. Definitely worth the money!

It is a very cheerful place, it seems that you are on the beach. It's very safe. The children enjoy it. We went in at 10am and it was 5pm and my kids didn't want to get out of the water. It's worth going. Book early and you won't pay so much.
