Mental health service Psychiatrist

😠 Horrible! Called In today and spoke to the front desk girl to make an appointment. She acted so rude like I was interrupting her day. Now I know why all the reviews say how rude the office staff is. It’s a shame because the doctors there seem to have great reviews. That experience I just had was so... People often mention feel, office, Patel, appointment, great, comfortable, medication, rude, people, health,

Horrible! Called In today and spoke to the front desk girl to make an appointment. She acted so rude like I was interrupting her day. Now I know why all the reviews say how rude the office staff is. It’s a shame because the doctors there seem to have great reviews. That experience I just had was so bad I didn’t even make an appointment. Does the lady not realize people are calling a mental health doctor. Maybe be a little nicer and welcoming.

The staff is kind, respectful, and patient. Dr. Patel, is absolutely amazing! Great listener, soft spoken, and respectful! I’m glad I have found this practice. Dr Patel asked questions that most providers did not. It was refreshing that Dr Patel didn’t try to modify my medications that I am currently on. He didn’t push meds to me. He actually cares and listen. 10 out of 10 for sure!

I went to my first appointment last week, making an appointment was easy and I got in the next day. Tammi the receptionist is great! She made sure to call me before hand and explain the whole process to me and help me with online paper work. She alone made me feel so welcomed and comfortable from the phone call to meeting her. The office is very clean. My doctor Luann listened to me and makes me feel comfortable and relieved...I have hope that I will be okay and start to feel better very soon with a very caring and supportive staff they have! Thank you ladies ❤😉

Dr.Patel is great, but the new receptionists are horrible! They're very rude and make you feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable which is not a good thing for a mental health clinic. The lady that is usually there is perfect for that environment. She always make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I don't know why she's not there but I can guarantee there will be some loss of clientele because she isn't there. I believe her name is Tammy. She should definitely retrain those other receptionists!!!!

This was the worst experience of my life. The provider refused to fill out my paperwork and advised me I was welcome to go elsewhere. She appeared to be uninterested in why I was there no offer of education for my disorder. I would not allow her to treat my dog!!!!

All they care about is money. Doctor doesn't listen to what you have to say. Just throws some b.s. prescription at you that doesn't work and reschedules you to come back in a couple weeks. "Dr." Nusrat Bangash is a scam artist!

Talked only to nurse practitioner. Had big problem with a new medication they prescribed was told "she's not available and even if she was she won't talk to you unless it is during appointment, you can try to make appointment now but it might be awhile ". Turned 65 last year previous doctor of 15 years no take Medicare so I switched. Former doctor (not nurse practitioner) would get back to me 24 hours business days. Consider yourself warned......found someone much better. Thank God for options. Asked her about it she told me to go to emergency room next time.....like I said, options good.

I enjoyed speaking with Dr. Patel. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxed. I felt very comfortable speaking with him and my spirit felt lifted after leaving his office. I highly recommend him.

I can only speak of my first visit. Dr. Patel asked me more questions about my situation than I've been asked in years. Unlike the last practice I was at, I felt like he actually cared and wanted to find ways to help me feel comfort in my own skin. I have been struggling and needed his fresh look at my medication. I really need counseling and he said they were working on getting one. I was very nervous going to a new place but I feel I found a good place. He said he wanted to see me again in 2 weeks to check on me. I felt like he really cared. For me that was a huge difference.

Horrible people working at the Plant City location. Called to cancel an appointment because I didn’t have money for the copayment (got paid two days later.) Instead of rescheduling or seeing me and billing me for the copay later, they told me they were charging me a $25 late fee. Talk about kicking someone when they are down. I tell them I don’t have money to make an appointment and instead of being empathetic to an established client, they are very rude and told me they were going to charge me an extra fee. The people running this place do not care about you. I called both the plant city and Tampa locations requesting that the office manager called me and I haven’t heard a word from him. If I wasn’t invested to them for my medication, I wouldn’t even waste my time writing this review. Now I’m a day or two away from being stranded with no meds, and no call from my doctor, or office manager. They know the importance of staying on your meds. They just don’t care. Going to file a complaint for the way these people treat people with disorders. They have to be in violation of the American with disabilities act. So here I am complaining to anyone that will listen. Including news and government agencies.

Bad experience-stranded without medication. I have no medication and I have been trying to reach them during business hours (called at 4:30pm for 2 days), I work 9-5pm. I finally reached them and they said they cannot help me for 2 weeks. I am out of medication. Not acceptable. They need better communication. This is very dangerous to be without this medication and they should know that.

As soon as you walk in the practice, there's such a great feel of welcome by not only the nice decor but the receptionist Tammy, what a doll! Very clean, still practicing COVID guidelines and my ARNP was phenomenal! She made me feel at great ease and seemed to genuinely care about my situation. I was able to get an appointment fairly quick as most practices are seeing patients at least 3 months out.. Highly recommend this practice to those who need compassionate care without the feeling of being just another number in the system. Keep up the great work Instic Health!

I thought the receptionist was pleasant. My appt with Dr Bangash was also really great. She took the time to listen to me. She made me feel very comfortable and she took the time to explain the risks for the medications, which made me feel that she was very upfront and trustworthy. I am confident in her ability to help me.

I am so happy I found this office locally in Plant City! Dr. Patel is fantastic he really takes the time to listen and address my needs accordingly. He is so pleasant to speak with. Tammy at the front office is the absolute best! It’s rare to find a smiling face and lovely personality at a doctors office and Tammy definitely does that job with 110% effort. I am so grateful to have found them and will be a client forever as I now need nowhere else to go! They make me feel so comfortable and welcomed every time I visit. Thank you for being so wonderful.

I am beyond appreciative of Ms. Garcia! She's been so understanding, accommodating and kind. Her assistant Tonya is so kind and will always work with my appointments and availability! MS. LISA! A Whole different story. A completely unpleasant person. I've probably never had someone be so rude and short with me. I always use lingo (sister, doc, dude, etc) and when corrected I will refer to the name. However the way LISA redirected me was so rude. Some of us are here because we need yall, we struggle and have a desire of kindness. She could have a completely different demeanor about the way she speaks to people. Lucky for me I have a 50/50 chance of Ms.Tonya (possibly Tanya, I'm sorry) answering my calls. And those are chances I will take. Thanks Lisa (at the New Port Richey office.... telehealth).

Dismissive of the concerns I came in with, just prescribed higher dosage of another SSRI, then let the prescription cut off cold turkey when I could not get back in within a month due to a relocation. Completely reckless with your health. Avoid.

Dr.Patel was nice and professional. I felt very comfortable talking with him. I’m confident in his approach to my medical needs.

The receptionist is beyond RUDE she answers the phone like you are inconveniencing her and has the nastiest attitude this is awful especially for a mental health clinic. She should probably find a different job that doesn't involve customer service
