Dr.Lamoutte is a very caring OB he was really attentive during my pregnancy, the only time I ran into issues was towards the end of my pregnancy when I gave birth. I ended up going into labor (at a rapid pace) before my due date and had to be seen at a different hospital that was closer to my home rather than the one he births at. Thankfully I did because the staff at Brandon Regional caught that my son had the cord wrapped around his neck not once but twice.. I’ve always brought up this worriment with him and the staff at South Florida but they kept saying he was “fine” although his heart rate would fluctuate rapidly. Fast forward after the birth of my son, I tried to make a postpartum follow up visit with Lamoutte as suggested by the hospital and was basically denied since I birthed somewhere else? I explained that I was in active labor and couldn’t make it to the suggested hospital to birth there and one of the lady’s stated “I’ll have to send him a message to see if he will want to see you since you birthed at a different facility” it has now been a week and I haven’t received a call with an answer, which tells me that is my answer.. thankfully I scheduled with an OB recommended by Brandon Regional staff and they’ve been extremely helpful on reaching out to make sure everything is okay with my son and I. Again Lamoutte is an amazing OB and the front staff are really helpful and kind, but after this experience it has certainly made me rethink choosing to come here.

After 8 years without knowing what was happening to my body if I couldn't have children, I found Dr. Carlos Lamoutte and on the first appointment he told me the possible causes, something that no other doctor could say, and thanks to him I am a mother that I have never Imagine that it was going to happen after 8 years and with Dr. Carlos Lamoutte I underwent surgery and a month later I was pregnant. I am very grateful to Dr. and his team. Thank you very much.

Love Dr. Lamoute, he takes his time and answers questions in a way that someone without medical knowledge easily understands. He is cares about his patients and it shows. The only downside I have found at the practice is the wait time from your scheduled appt, can be long. However, this could be attributed to the time he spends with his patients making sure they aren't rushed and are given excellent care.

Dr. Lamoutte isn’t just a good doctor, he’s a good person. He has a stellar bedside manner - very calm and truly listens to you. He explains things thoroughly and makes sure you understand and he’s also very good at what he does. I’ve been his patient for almost 15 years. He delivered all three of my children with such care and also performed my endometriosis surgeries and subsequent hysterectomy. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

With my main OB going to be out of the office when my baby is due, she referred me to Dr Lamoutte. I felt he gave me the exact same care as Dr Verdeja would have!

Dr. Lamoutte is the BEST of the BEST!! He is very professional, caring, and will evaluate what your body needs in order to conceive. With his treatments I was able to get pregnant and now I have a toddler and a 4 month baby. Such a blessing! All other doctors suggested ivf when it was not really needed. I am grateful that I crossed paths with Doctor Lamoutte. He is an incredible human being!

Dr. Lamoutte is amazing! I have went to several other doctors and no one could figure out what was wrong and I have been going for several years. I see Dr. Lamoutte and he runs the correct test and actually listens to his patients and finds out what is wrong in no time. He maybe busy alot due to most of his work is in the hospital, but have patience with him.

Doc is very attentive & thorough. Truly cares for his patients. My health began improving very soon after the first visit and is continuing to improve now post-surgery.

I had to travel an hour away when referred to Dr. Lamoutte because of insurance coverage. I’M SO GLAD I DID! GREAT SERVICE!! He has an awesome bedside manner, very professional, patient and really listens to you. He explained in detail about what he was about to do, gave me a couple of options going forward, listened to every questions and answered all of them which put me at ease. His assistant Erica as well as the front office ladies were very helpful and courteous.

Dr. Lamoutte was amazing. My only other experience with an OBGYN was in college and it was downright traumatizing. I was worried to go to another one, but now that I am married and my husband and I want to get ready to start a family I needed an OBGYN. My Creighton specialist referred me to this Baycare location, and they assignment me to Dr. Lamoutte. I never thought I'd like an OBGYN, but both my husband and I were beyond pleased with him. First off, his bed side manner is fantastic. I don't normally care that much when I get a doctor who is a little silly, but in this case, I really hoped I'd have someone who wasn't awkward. Dr. Lamoutte got my husband and me talking about how we met, and then he started talking about his family, and it was just a really pleasant conversation. He's obviously a very sweet man. Secondly, I have some chronic health problems and I've always been worried about how that would be handled. Dr. Lamoutte knew exactly how he wanted to monitor any potential pregnancies, and that was a HUGE comfort. Third, he's obviously VERY PRO-FAMILY, PRO-LIFE, and a kind, CHRISTIAN man. He's exactly what we wanted and needed, and I will be going back to him. Also, I've already referred my sister to him.
