Reviews are very important. there is a reason why Dr Salvato specialties doctors group on alexander has a 2.2 star and that is A lot. Not a good doctor. maybe he was at one time but not anymore. if he was a good doctor I would even put up with the poker face spirit that is in that office. they all have this flat uncaring facial affect . but, the fact is the doctor and staff are all lazy and just don't care. that is dangerous because you will be mismanaged. you have been warned.

They really should close down this office. The doctor is a joke and his staff are sooo inefficient. The only person there that was good was a PA Gerarda Lascraze I could not see her all the time but when I did she managed my care very well and now she has left. I then went for a physical and the doctor did not even look in my ear or throat. lol it took all of 5 minutes for a yearly physical. LOL he ignored my abdominal pain said to take antacids. well I ignored him and found another doctor. she listened to me and examined me and sent me for blood works and sonogram and ct scans. My new doctor found i have some liver issues and it is being taken care of by this new doctor. she is internal medicine and knows her stuff and cares and is pleasant and has an efficient staff. they actually call me at home to give me results of my scans and tests. awesome. If you are a fairly healthy person then I guess this place is ok but.....if you have serious health issues then good management of your health is very important. go find an internal medicine not family practice doctor.

They used to be good but last experience I give them 2 star . While the medical staff is knowledgeable they are not friendly. The front desk are friendly but incompetent. What is important to me is knowledgable doctors and competent staff. So i always have problems with referrals n medication called in on time. The front desk staff do not have a clue on how to run the office efficiently. These are not all of the same workers from 2 years ago so maybe that has to be reviewed. But expect to be frustrated from their lack of involvement in your care n slow management.

I have been going to Specialist Doctors Group for about a year now and have had nothing short of a good experience and recommend to every one I know to go to Dr. Salvato. He is a great doctor. When I was describing my anxiety to him he asked me a multitude of questions before prescribing a medication to ensure it was suited to my needs. I find his staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable which I appreciate. Also Specialist Doctors Group cost MUCH less than other doctors I have been to and after going routinely my appointments were made for every other month which tells me they are not looking to rip people off by scheduling an appointment every two weeks for the first two months like a Dr. I was going to in Brandon (Urgent Care Dr.Luis Agulia)did. I am giving S.D.Group a much deserved 5 star rating and tho a few people gave a lower star rating I urge you to make your own opinion because you might have an excellent experience as I did.

Our entire family has been with the practice for nearly 10 years. That alone says something. I have found the entire staff positive, pleasant and truly caring. I have found the medical team doing what is hard to find today: practicing good old fashioned family medicine in a family atmosphere. When a specialty physician is needed, they are very helpful in finding one to suit your needs and personality and even securing an appointment for you. This group has my full trust and appreciation. I suspect those who gave negative reviews were probably extraordinarily rude themselves first. I have never experienced anything close to that in all these years.

While I've only had three appointments, each visit was a pleasure. The staff, doctors and nurses were very efficient, very professional and treated me with all the courtesy and respect one could ask for. However, my fondest memory, and something I thought I'd never see in my lifetime at a Doctors office, on all three visits...I was called in with-in a few minutes of my appointed time.That was nothing short of exhilarating.Nearly as exhilarating as the first time you see Nurse Georgette Farmer...and I'm 67 years old:).

The office never returned my calls regarding a medication that needed to be filled though they had taken upwards of three notes for their sole nurse. I was actually hung up on in one instance, as though my request was somehow a slight against their profession. The doctor didn't listen to my heart or lungs, my weight was never checked, and there were no referrals for bloodwork. This was for an annual check up AND to establish care. In total, everyone was mostly polite, however I would not recommend them to new patients at present, as there's no actual medical care being performed at this office.

Dr. Salvato and his entire staff are professional and caring. He is so proficient in his diagnosis, which ensures the patient, right away, that they will be well, soon. Both the Family Practice and the Walk In Clinic are readily available. When I am sick, I am comforted in knowing that I will be taken care of swiftly and completely. They are the greatest.

Great Doctor. Listen to the patient. Great bed side manners. Staff professional an knowledgeable. Clean office.

I love coming into Dr Salvato's office, the staff are always showing excellent teamwork! I had an appointment today, however I arrived sooner than my scheduled time and they was able to fit me in! (:

Dr. Salvato is AWESOME! I drive from Lakeland to Plant City SOLELY to see him. He has a great bedside manner, always listens to me and is genuinely concerned about my health. I've never had an issue with getting an appointment when I need one. I really like Dr. Salvato and will continue to see him as long as he is in practice.

I was seen at their office about two months ago. Came with my list (as directed) because I haven’t been to the Dr. In a while. I have a huge carpal boss on my wrist that make my hand go numb and was trying to show Dr. Aziza during my visit. Because I’m big/black she kept checking my ankles for swelling even though I told her they haven’t been swollen at all (ever) she persisted and never looked at my wrist. Then said to me, if you’re having a stroke don’t come here. This was the level of care I received. Thanks!

Usually fast depending if something is going around in the community. The nurses here are nice and helpful and do any test I feel might be needed. His urgent care is good too.

Office staff doesn’t do their job, wait time is more than 30min on any given day I schedule my appt. Providers only rush with the ones they need in and out. I can show up 15min before my appt and still sitting here 30 min from the time appt suppose to start so that equal up to 45min wait. Going to start looking for new doctor. Staff also don’t accept medication request after 4pm, they are sometimes rude. I have waited on phone for 45 min and have to call from my other phone line and all of sudden pick up. I truly think they look at the caller ID and put those they don’t want to talk to on hold and pray patient will hang up. I have been in healthcare for over 15 years in all sort of areas and this is by far a terrible office I go to as a patient. Even the offices I work at least have some sense of humanity to apologize.
