Dr. Barry Gaffney and his sons Jeremy and Daniel, always provide the absolute best care for each and every one of their patients. I never feel rushed and they stay with you until they figure out how to get you seeing correctly again. My Family and I have been going here for over 15 years and will never go elsewhere. We even continued to go here even when we didn’t have vision insurance and had to pay out of pocket. Their quality of service and patient care is above all of the rest! Great experience as usual. The staff are all friendly, courteous and professional. I was taken in at the time of my appointment(no wait) and was in and out in about 30 minutes. I called as a new patient with an eye problem and didn't have to wait months. They said a week but got me in the next day. Walked in door and saw the assistant immediately and then doctor a moment later. Was in and out with fabulous service in less than an hour. Very clean and people very nice 😊

I was sad to leave my Optometrist in PA because he was awesome. I looked online for an optometrist in my network and this was the only place that had lots of really good reviews - they were right on. It’s a nice place with modern equipment and they’re very thorough. Dr Gaffney (Sr) took his time with me and I he listened to my concerns without making me feel rushed. He is very personable and although I need more testing, he offered to set it up in a way that will save me money, which is amazing these days. Cindy in the eyeglass department was friendly, very helpful, and patient. It was a very good experience and I will definitely be back. Thank you.

I walked into office and was immediately checked in with very little waiting. The technician was very professional and personable. Dr Gaffney came into the exam room very quickly. The apt went smooth as silk. Promptly checked out after picking out new glasses. This office is always the best. I have gone to see Dr Gaffney more years than I can remember. Great job " team"!

The young lady informed me that the doctor does not want his patients waiting. I really appreciate that. Also, the selection of eye ware is on point in regards to quality and fashion. I absolutely love this clinic!! Every time, I feel very well taken care of. The doctors and nurses listen and do their very best to help in any way they can! I have had contacts now for almost two years. When I first got them I was very unsure at first but they helped me find the most comfortable fit. They stayed by my side for a LONG time to make sure I was able to do the proper contact care! Couldn’t be happier and would recommend to everyone I know!

Dr Gaffney is the best! I came back to him after I got mediocre service from my USF specialist doctor and he's able to help and refer me to a specialist in the FL Eye Specialists. It was really hard to find a glaucoma specialist on my own, so I appreciate the help! I'm also happy that picking out glasses part was super easy. They accepted my insurance and helped pick the perfect frames the 1st time around. She's a pro!

Dr Jeremy Gaffney is very thorough and really listened to my issues. Very pleasant experience. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I like the fact that they have additional specialist to accommodate my needs. I can stay in one place! The optical has many wonderful frame selections and is very reasonable. It makes sense to buy both clear and suns in one visit. The staff throughout is knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease. Would highly recommend this establishment!!

I am a new patient of Dr. Jeremy Gaffney and I have to say I was treated with such care by the staff at the front desk as well as Sarah and Erica the ladies that did some of the eye examines. They were so patient with me and answered all the questions I was asking. Then I met with Dr. Gaffney who was so friendly, knowledgeable and also very patient. He explained the different tests he wanted to do just to make sure what he was seeing on the screen wasn't anything serious. After he reviewed the extra tests he did, he was comfortable with the outcome and wants to see me in 4 weeks to re-evaluate my condition and make sure there is nothing new that may have developed. He pointed out that I have a few conditions, that I never knew I had. (as I was never told by my previous eye doctor). I did not feel rushed and felt like I was important to him as a patient. So, I have to say, I am very happy that I found a doctor who actually takes the time with his patients. I would highly recommend him.

I had my first appointment with Florida Eye Specialist today. I was very pleased with the visit. The front office staff was friendly and efficient in the checking in process. All exams were professionally done, with clear results explained well. I look forward to future visits to this office.

This clinic is amazing. I experienced a potentially serious eye injury that I wasn't sure needed urgent care or not. This clinic worked me into the schedule within an hour. The reception was kind and expedited the sign in process, even though I was a new patient. I was seen within 30 minutes, and the provider was kind and even thanked me for patiently waiting. He provided me with the treatment I needed without sending me to the pharmacy. I am so grateful for this clinic and will return for services in the future!

I had a problem with my left eye and I called them in the morning and they were able to give me an appointment that day. I was a new patient and very impressed as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted and did not have to wait but five minutes to go back for my appointment. Dr. Gaffney was very thorough. Everyone in office was friendly. I have a return follow up appointment but will use them as my regular eye doctor from now on.
