    DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: Go elsewhere. You'll save a lot of $$$. IF YOU DO GO: Be sure you know that although they will not tell you, they have a NO REFUND policy. They are several hundred dollars more than their competitors. When I tried to cancel my order (within 20 minutes of placing it), I was simply told "No. Your order is already being processed." They would give a store credit however, so their claim is clearly bogus. They will also charge you $29 for an "Eyewear Protection Plan". They will not ask you. They will not tell you about this. They just want another thirty bucks. AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT AND DISHONEST COMPANY.

    If I could rate zero stars I would!!!! I never write reviews, but I left from this place crying. I highly felt discriminated because I had medicaid the worker TAMI was whom my 8 year old was semi attended by. She just told us where we can pick from and helped another person. Then came back and said well what you got. So unprofessional, I had my baby with me and I forgot his pacifier so he was whinny and wanted to get down. I was a little frustrated with my baby but maintained myself for my child was super exited for today to get new glasses. Tami was very annoyed by my baby she would expand her eyes and cringe her jaws when he cried. I was so uncomfortable it was the worse experience that I left crying because her cruelty was all in her face and attitude. My husband was so disappointed that he left with our baby and sat in the car. Besides having to deal with TAMI, the overall others were pleasant. When me and my daughter left my child asked why did she have an attitude:(

    MyEyeDr is one of the greatest optometrist offices I’ve been to in the 10 years I’ve been wearing glasses. I was ready to make the switch to contacts and the doctor took his time to walk me through what it would be like and Tami did a wonderful job explaining the contacts rewards program. I did not feel rushed whatsoever during the appointment and I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. The entire staff at the office is wonderful and all so sweet! This is a new team following the reopening after Covid, and I highly recommend them!

    Don't be late for your appointment if you choose this dr because if you are they will not see you but its ok for them to keep you waiting for hours. Extremely rude receptionists. Worst customer experience ever.

    Every time I go in for my due exam, I am always treated with respect. All the ladies there have great personalities, friendly and courteous. Big shout out to Tami Johnston for helping me pick out the perfect frame for my face. I highly recommend "My Eye Dr" to everyone.

    My friend tami down at my eye Dr. Hooked it up by giving me his vision back today. Was in and out so pleasant and quick to help. They need more people on staff like tami. She is a goddess. ❤️

    BEWARE!!!! Claimed my out of pocket cost would be $1200+ without insurance, so I put a hold on the prescription order and called my insurance. The claims adjuster told me I would be responsible for the $800+ bill once the insurance company did not cover what the employee at MyEyeDr claimed was covered, so I called MyEyeDr to retrieve my new prescription and ordered from where the insurance company recommended. When I received my new glasses the "new" prescription was exactly as my old prescription with no improvements. When I called and asked why they sent my old prescription instead of my new prescription, I was gaslighted. The girl working continuously attempted to twist my words around whilst pretending she was "not understanding what happened", and claiming their eye clinic is superior to ALL other eye clinic's, which is why the 125% increase of cost is justified.

    My stepson broke his glasses and needed a replacement. At first they didn’t want to do just the frames through his insurance and wanted to charge me $99+ for just the frames, I decided to do the complete eyeglasses as they said needed to be done for them to use the insurance, while making the order I requested for the glasses to be sent to another store (closer to my house) the lady who attended to me was rush and gave me attitude. When receiving the notification that the glasses were ready, they were at this location instead of the store I had requested to go pick them up at, I was in the area and went to get the glasses, had to wait 10min for someone to give me the glasses and it happened to be the same lady that did my order in the first place, when I asked her why wasn’t the order sent to the store I requested she said “she didn’t know, she didn’t put a note for the glasses to be sent to another store.” She was rude, incompetent and unprofessional.

    I am not completely satisfied with my experience. The gentleman who initially set up my glasses was professional and helpful. The eye doctor was professional and helpful. However, when I returned to pick up my frames, the store was closed in the middle of the day. I called the next day to make sure the store would be open for pickup and I was told, “We did not have enough staff show up for work to be able to open the store.” I finally was able to get my glasses and knowing I’d need adjustments, the person who assisted me seemed to be in such a rush, I finally just didn’t ask her to perfect the fit. I left, feeling like my glasses are not fitting like I want. To pay over $300 for glasses, I’d hope to get a professional fitting. I am sad to say, I will be going elsewhere in the future.

    Made a verbal appointment with a appointment scheduler named Miranda last week. I received a call from same person named Miranda today at 9:41am stating my appointment for tomorrow is canceled due to non verbal confirmation. I can not answer my phone every second due to work purposes. I called Miranda back 5 minutes after she left a message and she stated it was company policy and nothing she could do. I took a day out of work for this appointment and now it's a wasted day. After a call from the corporate office and a discussion with a gentleman who works for the marketing team I decided to go back and order my glasses from My Eye Dr as I have been a customer for years. I was first greeted by a very professional young man named Colin who took care of the ordering of my frames and lenses. After deciding on the 2 pairs I wanted, he sat with me and explained everything I needed to know about the new style of lens I would be needing. (Progressive bi focal). I was very pleased with him and his way of explaining to me how these lenses would be different. After about 10 days, I received a call stating that both pairs were ready to be picked up. I went to pick them up, and another person who was a pleasure to deal with was Tami. She handled the fitting of my glasses and was very informative as well. These 2 explained everything I needed to know and helped to the highest standards. The previous 1 star review has been changed due the fact that Colin and Tami are very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

    Tami was amazing! She was so much help when I couldn’t see clearly after my eyes being dilated. She also helped me sign up for a vision plan that I was not ever aware of. I will definitely be back in 6 months for my next eye exam. Thank you Tami for the help!!

    Tammy was an absolute sweetheart and lifesaver. My glasses broke right before hurricane Ian and even though the store was closing in preparation she was able to find emergency frames for me. Thank you for your kindness.

    I had a wonderful experience today in Plant City! Dr. FungQuee is so professional and I am glad to be under her care. The selection of frames is amazing in the beautiful showroom, but he best part of the eyeglass experience is the deep knowledge of Tami regards to the eyewear. She cares enough to educate her customers and to teach her skills to her colleague Tory. We are fortunate to have them here in our community to care for our eyes!

    Finished my eye exam by 5:30, was told to look at frames, no one spoke to me again till they told me they were closing at 6. I would have been happy to purchase some frames if anyone wanted to sell them to me. This review would be lower but the eye doctor side of the store was very professional and put together

    I’m 46 years old and I’ve never worn glasses before. I scheduled an eye exam at this location because, honestly, it had the soonest available appointments. I’m very happy this was the case because I had a great experience. The entire staff was friendly and I didn’t wait at all when I sat down. The exam process was explained thoroughly to me and my vision issues were discussed in terms I could understand. Tami Johnston was my consultant and she was so very helpful with the entire process of finding the right frames and lenses for me. Like I said this was my first time so I knew nothing about anything. Tami took her time and asked all the right questions to get the info she needed to find the right pair of glasses for me. She went out of her way to help save me money by explaining some of my options that I would not otherwise have been aware of. I definitely recommend Tami and the rest of the staff if you’re going blind like me! I can’t wait to see again when my glasses arrive!

    First time here. Just love Dr Ho was so great. Mrs Tami is the lady in the glass area. Super patient and kind and knowledgeable. Everyone was super and Colin, took great care of my tears and me. Nirma was super at check out❤️

    What a bad experience I’ve had with this place when I first went in there it was OK as soon as I sat down to order my glasses, it was unbelievable from that day. It’s been nothing but chaos. I got there to get my glasses and the prescription they put in it wasn’t right, so I had to go back. The people are not nice at all management. Don’t want to hear your problems and at the same time I’m still going on two months without glasses don’t go there please .

    My husband went to the Plant City location to order eye glasses on March 02, the order wasn't placed until March 24 for the eye glasses to be made. He never received a notice that the glasses were ready to pickup, had to go online to find out. Their website stated that this location was open on Saturday, he drove to the location to find out they are now closed on Saturdays. He had tried calling several times with no answer. He went today to pick up the glasses, the lady that was helping him, gave him the glasses, told him if they needed adjustment to let her know, walked off and started talking to someone else. He had to help himself with the eye chart to make sure everything was good, he was never acknowledged again. Absolutely horrible customer service.

    I have used this eye clinic twice now and regretted it both times. I thought I would give them another try to see if they’d improved since my last visit and unfortunately they had not. One of the office staff was argumentative and unprofessional and I question their knowledge and capability. I will not be returning.

    Place is a joke waste of time not opened on Saturday and Sundays despite Google confirming by phone they were open saturdays at 3. Charged $175 for thinner lenses if you have an astigmatism do not go here my other eye dr is only $45-$60 more paid it anyways because they were supposedly open on weekends now I have to take a day off just to pick up glasses. Place is only open when you are at work. And they knew what medications I was on without me even telling them one of them was a very nee medication.

    I was extremely pleased with the staff and especially the Doctors at this location. My elderly mother had a bad eye infection and they were able to get me in the next day. The doctor was soooo caring and professional. 😊
