My wife and I did the Kayak tour. We chose this because the idea of spending the day kayaking and also feeding Lemurs sounded amazing. The kayaking had much to be desired, it is very short. However, feeding the lemurs on the island was just amazing. Our tour guide JJ was just amazing. After we had kayaked the very short figure eight, she offered to take us on a quick tour of the African and Asian exhibits. We got to see all sorts of great animals and a highly customized experience to us. When you go ask for JJ and feed the Lemurs!

Where do I start !? Amazing experience! I love how the animals have acres and acres of land to be free ! Tour guide was the nicest and very knowledgeable. Me and my boyfriend got so lucky to be the only ones in that time slot, we got the attention of the animals to ourselves 🀭 Anyways, 10/10 recommend! Recommend feeding the lemurs, such gentle little guys ❀ will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience! Highly recommend the driving tour, well worth the money! The tour guides are experienced and incredibly knowledgeable. Providing animal history and facts the entire way. Plus plenty of stops for guests to see all of the animals. Feeding the water buffaloes and camels were the highlight of the trip. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

This was one of the best safari experiences we have ever had! The animals have large diverse areas to roam. Our guide JJ was awesome! She was so knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to learn from her! Without a doubt we would definitely drive the 2 hours to go visit again!

At first we were a little reluctant in visiting this place, due to some of the negative reviews. Sure glad we decided to visit this place. From the start to the finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and guided us through the park, while viewing some great animals. At the end, you get to feed the camels. Our kids had a blast, and will definitely go back again.

This was a 10 out of 10!! First , I hate zoos because the animals always look miserable in tiny cages. I visited a safari in Georgia and I thought it was much better because the animals had room and were able to roam . Here for New Years by my granddaughters request we tried safari wilderness and I was completely shocked how happy and free these animals appear to be roaming on 260* acres (from what a recollect). It’s so much room and so many clean , healthy and happy looking animals. Jennifer was the manager and she was sooooo knowledgeable and made our visit worth the 7 hour ride from Georgia. We hand fed animals and even stopped to take pictures with the cheetah! Well worth the trip and I hope they stay open for years to come . Thank you guys so Much .

This is our 3rd visit doing the drive thru tour. We love coming and seeing all the animals. JJ, our tour guide is so knowledgeable and you can tell she loves working with the animals. Animals look very healthy, happy and on such a large property it’s like they’re in their natural habitats. Unlike a traditional β€œzoo” where the animals are in cramped cages. Highly recommend. Earlier morning tours (we’ve done two morning and one afternoon) seem to be the best in terms of avoiding rain and seeing all the varieties of animals.

We had an amazing time at Safari Wilderness! The safari tour was really fun and interactive being able to feed a lot of different animals. We opted to do the cheetah feeding experience as well and that was AMAZING! Art & Jen were a fantastic duo and we enjoyed their animal facts and hospitality!

Unique safari experience in the heart of Florida! We opted for the tour in your own vehicle and recommend at least and SUV as you be driving on a bumpy dirt road. Animals come close to the vehicle but never felt they were going to damage the car. Tour guide was knowledgeable about animals. Great for kids and adults of all ages!

Worth it! Did the ATV tour and cannot wait to go again. If you are on the fence, just do it and you won’t regret. A bit pricey, but worth it for the priceless memories.

My wife, daughter and I toured on Jan2, 2022. We took the feeder option and my daughter also took the lemur feed option. Art was great. He was very knowledgeable and obviously loves the animals. The tour ran about 1 Hr, 10 min, which was just right. Great family outing.

I want to start off saying forget every other place listed and book with Safari Wilderness. JJ was our tour guide and she was amazing. You can really tell she has a passion for every animal and the property. It was 40 degrees with crazy winds but she still went above and beyond to stop and show every animal. From the bulls to the little birds she knew all the facts and answers to the questions we had. My favorite animals are cheetahs and being able to see them up close feeding and watching them eat right in front of us was a great experience. Thank you to the Safari Wilderness team and especially JJ to make our anniversary one to remember!

Our tour guide was JJ and she did a phenomenal job talking about all the different kinds of animals and fun facts about them. We went into this blind (knew little to nothing about what to expect) and all had a good time. Best part was definitely getting to feed the animals: water buffalo, llamas, lemurs, and a few others. The t-shirts in the gift shop were a little pricey (+$40) but they have some other more affordable goodies. Overall a good experience and would recommend if you enjoy animals. P.S. beware the ostriches

We attended the drive through safari as a part of a birthday celebration for our 10 year old and it was an experience we will never forget. The instructed drive through was very informative and full of perfect close views of the animals. They instructor was not only well aware of the animals but set truthful expectations. Our three year old sat in amazement at all the views of the animals and we left the encounter in complete awe and anticipation for our next visit!

Wonderful & well worth the cost. We got to feed llamas, antelope, water buffalo, and camels. They come right up to the vehicle. Tour guide JJ was fount of knowledge. Informative experience & a lot of fun for both seniors and young ones.

We did our own car drive thru and had a BLAST!!!! Jenny who apparently is an on site resident on the property was so kind!! The property is extremely well maintained and groomed and the animals all live a very happy life on the safari. The experience is so amazing!! They have you tune into a radio station that is guided by a person on an atv that leads you thru the entire adventure. Our kids- all boys ages 9-12 truly enjoyed our visit! We also purchased the hands on lemur experience. 35 pp and was also totally worth it. Beautiful gorgeous day! And top rated experience!! Thank you !!

Babe took me to Safari Wilderness for my birthday and it was a blast! We got to feed grapes to lemurs, and on the safari tour we got to feed llamas, water buffalo, pigs, and camels. We also had a one on one feeding and handling with a coati who apparently loves marshmallows haha. It was such an experience I didn't take many photos. JJ was our tour guide and she was amazing and very knowledgeable. I would definitely do another tour with her.I recommend to all animal lovers.

This review is in regards to glamping offered at safari wilderness. My understanding is that this is a relatively new offering at the site so I offer these observations and suggestions. At check in, give the customer a sheet of paper with the rules involved with staying overnight. Include a map of the facility, what to do with trash, contact number during stay. Consider adding a flashlight to each tent for late night bathroom runs. (We appreciate the lantern, but you need more directional light.) Add a soap dispenser to the showers. You already have shampoo dispensers so this should be an easy fix. Switch to a larger hot water heater. My wife and I showered next to each other and ran out of hot water. (It was cold that morning, which I know isn’t a usual issue.) Add a little bench or stool to the shower stall for anything someone needs to bring in (or sit on while changing) and also at least one more hook for the wall. The more space to hang and rest things, the better. Also, to give the camping a more glamorous feel, improve the towels with something thicker and softer. Consider adding a concrete path from the barn to the glamping site. Lastly, breakfast is pretty sparse. Bagels could be added, with cream cheese. Maybe add some almond milk for lactose intolerant folks. Bananas? Apples? Maybe add wifi to the barn? Love the cats. The games in the barn are a cool idea. The bed was comfortable.

Yesterday, we had the greatest tour experience imaginable! JJ, our tour guide, was the absolute best guide. ..friendly, pleasant, and so knowledgeable! We learned so much about all the animals. The one on one contact with the animals was awesome. You absolutely must experience this event.

Amazing experience! Perfect weather for a safari tour! Eddie and Missy were great tour guides! We were able to feed exotic animals from Asia and Africa. I did the lemur experience too and I’m still in awe over the experience. They are so sweet and gentle! They can touch you but you can’t touch them.

Our guide JJ was wonderful! Very informative about all of the animals and you can tell she has a wonderful relationship with each animal, especially the camels. Would definitely recommend, even might try the β€œglamping” next trip we make out to Florida!

It was AMAZING!! And that’s coming from someone who actually did safari in Africa! we went on Wednesday at 1 pm and we were the only couple for the customized vehicle tour, and Art still did an amazing show for us! He’s super knowledgeable about every aspect of the animals and truly care about people having a good time. I got to pet and feed so many animals!!

Wonderful experience! Although it’s self driving we loved that we had a guide to talk with us about the animals. Staff was knowledgeable and inviting. Saw a few negative reviews about people being mad about the tour starting late. That didn’t seem to be the parks issue that was more of a guest issue. We had to wait for a couple others that showed up late for the 4pm tour, which is super annoying. Just be courteous and be on time for your scheduled tour because there are others that will be waiting on you!

Glamping at Safari Wilderness Ranch was absolutely amazing! We did almost all of the tours they had to offer, and they did not disappoint! The staff was fabulous, and our glamping tent was beautiful! We had a wonderful view of Lemur Cove and the sunset and sunrise were breath taking. If you have never visited Safari Wilderness Ranch or have been glamping I strongly suggest you check out this place. You will not be disappointed!

πŸ‘πŸ‘ We had a great time at this little petting zoo. The owners were so friendly. The zoo was small but clean and had lots of different animals. The animals were also engaging with the kids. We all really enjoyed it and highly recommend. This little petting zoo was one of the highlights of our trip!
