It was a fun time with the kids. Great and friendly customer service. My only issue which i wasn't even going to put on here but decided to anyways is that while facing away from the goat pen waiting for cucumber a goat stuck its head over and bit my arm pretty hard. It was bruised for a couple weeks. Obviously im ok im more worried for all the little fingers feeding the goats. Just pay very close attention because i didnt even realize it was next to me that close and i yelled so loud people were staring hahaha ill probably be back but just be more aware.

This place was very disappointing to my mom and I especially considering we paid $20 for ourselves and my two small kids. There was a disabled chicken in a cage up front that had messed up legs so it was falling around in it's cage. The animals are in pretty small enclosures, especially the cow Mooanne for her size. One of the ponies' ribs were visible. They have like 80 animals all on like 1.5 acres of land. They usually charge extra for the playground and the equipment is very old. The ziplines are cool if you have older kids, but are not particularly safe. I noticed the onions at the produce stand were rotting.

Spent $12 for my 2yr old nephew and myself on a Saturday. For that we got access to the petting zoo and playground as well as 2 small baskets of veggies to feed the animals. It wasn't busy at all. The baby had a blast feeding mostly the goats and running after the ducks and roosters. The animals during our visit were in apparent good health. There was one piggy that looked a little lame but that's all I was able to see. The veggies were more than enough to entertain him during our visit. Now the reason I gave it 4 stars is the playground. It has a couple of cool things and room for kids to run but it really, really, needs an overhaul. I could swear they put a pool slide up leaning not completely attached to one side of their play equipment, I saw it described as rustic by someone else and that's being nice. We didn't spend much time there. I will definitively return and think it's a fun place to visit for little kids if you stick to the petting zoo.

Entry is $6 per person with food to feed the animals included in the cost. They gave us sliced potatoes and carrots. We met Irene and she gave us great information about the animals, their diet, and about the farm. The animals are all well taken care of. We got to feed alot of sheep and goats. We saw roosters roaming around happily, cows, ponies, and chickens. We will come here again for sure in the future.

Had a great time at a birthday party here! Nice, big, open place. The kids really loved the ziplines. We had fun feeding all the animals.

My 3 year old loves animals and I’ve been looking for a petting farm to take him too. Came across this one on Google and so happy I made the drive. The admission is reasonable and includes food for the pets. The ladies were nice enough to let us feed the animals several times with the basket. Definitely will be back and would recommend to anyone with kids or who loves animals.

My husband and I brought our granddaughter, grandson-in-law and 2 1/2 year old great grandson there yesterday. The place, staff and of course the many creatures were pretty amazing. There was so much more to this place than we had ever imagined. Our little one had such a great time. Every staff member was so friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond making this a blast for all of us and especially our little one.

The cost of admission is reasonable. $11 for kids for both feeding animals and the playground. The animals are well kept and appear very healthy. They are friendly and don't try to nip you. My special needs child opened the chicken coop and walked in, the owner politely walked over to her and asked her to come out which she did. She didn't yell at me or the child. She even let her hold a one and allowed her to walk back through the feeding farm on her way out to feed the animals once more. They are doing a lot of upgrades and maintenance to the play area and it all looks great. They even have an area for birthday parties. Needless to say we love this place!

Been 2x so far, my son loves all the animals, we intend to come every few weeks to let him feed to goats and pet the sweet cow. The animals are worth the small admission fee; they all have their own little personalities, but they’re very gentle. My one year old feeds everything he can reach.

I hosted my two-year-old's birthday party at this wonderful location, and it was a hit! My little one adores this place, and it was a delight to see all the kids enjoying themselves, especially when feeding the animals. The older kids had a blast on the zip line, and the playground and toys added to the fun. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We (party of almost 30) celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday last weekend, and it turned out even better than I had imagined. Everyone, even parents, participated in the playground, ziplines, and petting zoo. They gave us all endless amounts of carrots to feed the animals. I highly recommend and would totally have another birthday here again! The owner, Irene, was so nice and kept in touch with me from the day of booking til the end. Thank you so much!

The price was not bad. They have lots of stuff for the kids to play on and have fun. They have 2 zip lines for kids and adults. The animals are amazing and the little people and big people loved feeding them.☺️ Just make sure you bring paper towels to dry hands or you will have to shake dry. πŸ˜‰ My party was 1-4 and the kids had fun and stayed entertained the entire time.

Irene is very sweet and caring. I took my 2 yr old for the first time today and he loved it. He was able to feed all the animals and it was such a great experience for us. There are a lot of animals and they were all very gentle. Will definitely be going back. She also has a playground with tons of things for the kids to do. My son had such a great time.

I visited the Alligator and Wildlife Discovery Center today (12/16/20) I must say we were pleasantly surprised. We have visited a few of the Alligator farms around the way and while when I pulled up I was disappointed it wasn't like a huge farm, once we got inside we would come to find that the staff here truly enjoy caring for, learning about and teaching about the animals they care for. Kyle was so knowledgeable and informative about all the animals that they have. This was one of the most hands on and interactive facilities I have ever been to. He got basically any critter the boys were interested in out and shared so much information on every animal as well as their habitats or natural environments. All the staff were helpful super friendly and engaging. All the animals really like Kyle and its cool to experience his interaction with dangerous animals. Their were animals free to roam, in all sorts of different habitats. They know their animals and there profession well. Definitely a five star experience will recommendand definitelywill be back to visit again . Also be prepared to pay for parking

What a great fun time! My whole family learned so much. We got to hold/touch and feed a sloth and hold an alligator. So many unique animals along with some domestic ones as well. Staff was polite and well informed and went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. Everyone was masked up and there were signs on social distancing. These people are accredited and take great care of their animals.

My family and I went to the alligator wildlife center on Sunday 11-29-20. We chose to do the private tour. We had an amazing time!!! Our tour guide was very funny, knowledgeable, and you could tell he loved his job. I didn't realize they had all the other creatures, I thought we were just going to see alligators. My favorite part was interacting with the alligators!! I was super excited to hold the alligators and feed them. There were a lot of really cool things to see and touch. It was definitely worth the money! Sean G

Go at your own pace, kid friendly, our two year old loves it. Playground with sitting area at the end, if you can beat the drunk mexicans to it, otherwise you'll be sharing the spot with a dozen drunks hollering and carrying on. Was still fun.

Wonderful place for quality family time. Friendly animals, nice staff, great play area for kids, too. Two zip lines, and a playground with lots of space. My daughter requested that we go at least once a month. We will definitely return!! Thanks for the great day!

My 3 year old granddaughter had her party here and it was just wonderful. The animals were so sweet and the party area was perfect. I had 8 grandchildren there that day from 25 yrs old to 3 yrs old, they all had a good time. Irene, the owner cares so much about her animals. They have sliced fruits and vegetables for you to feed the animals with, at no charge and no limit!! The farm has a produce stand also that several of us purchased from. They also have a whole event area for weddings and such. We will go back and highly recommend them for your next celebration πŸ₯³β€οΈπŸ€—πŸŒž

This petting zoo is amazing. Adults and kids had a great time, and the picnic tables were cleaned and shaded. Washing sinks are kids' height, making it easy for parents. You must utilize the kids play area, the zip line was a nice add on.

Amazing, kids loved the Zipline and playground. Sat and spoke with the owner who was warm and welcoming. She talked about the additions she was planning for the kiddos. Animals were happy and healthy. Couldn't decide on my favorite, the huge white cow or the vocal donkey.

This place isn't what I expected. There were no large alligators and everything other than looking was an upcharge. Feeding, holding, etc. costs extra. This was more like a small-scale science center than a wildlife encounter.

CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP You can no go wrong here with a furry, scaly or slimy friend for every one and every age to enjoy. Say HI to Yoshi the Roaming turtle or Sid the sloth. A great learning environment for kids and adults alike. Feed and hold the gators...😁

I did some research online before making the trip to the alligator attraction. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was following the local ordinance and wearing masks. The diversity of animals they take care of in the space they have is impressive. These people obviously love what they do. We held a sloth and alligators, and pet lizards. I would encourage it for couples, small groups, or families. Will definitely be returning!

I've been here several times and love it everytime. It's not for playing with "pets" as one reviewer call recused animals. The sloth was a highlight. It's rare to see one up close and personal. The owner truly loves the animals he has taken in and it shows. The exhibits are clean and well managed. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see a sloth, my absolute favorite animal and one that is endangered. I'll be back everytime I come to the St Pete area.

  • 1/5 Zach P. 3 years ago on Google
Cool animals. That's for sure. But super upset with how a lot of the animals, reptiles especially, are being housed. Being a reptile owner it's a shame to see them taken care of in a way that is exclusively in the interest of making money instead of the care of the animals. Add more hides. Provide belly heat, small things go a long way. The monitor lizards and tegus brumate (hibernation for reptiles) and they don't have the proper enclosure set up to allow them to effectively do that. Snakes shouldn't be forced to be out when it's in their nature to hide. It was cool to see these critters but their enclosures were insanely lacking.
