Always have a nice selection of fish, plants and corals ( I have both freshwater and saltwater). I love being able to talk to the employees about what they recommend. They always greet me when I walk in and always ask if I need help ( which a lot of other stores don’t bother to do)

This is my favorite fish store to go to! I love that they cater to both freshwater and saltwater. John and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about whatever questions you might have. Whenever I go there I am always ask if I need help or have a question. They have a great selection of fish, corals, and plants. Whenever I am looking for some that the other lfs don’t have I know I can find it here. You are looking for a fish store to shop at I highly recommend this shop!

They have everything that you need for your fresh water or salt water tank. They take good care of there personal tanks with a wide variety of fish and plants. I Love spending my money here it gives me peace of mind by knowing im getting quality stuff in a well managed store. I also love the Big fish when you enter and exit the store he is super friendly and sometimes on a good day he will follow you back and forth in his tank. Thank you for the fish 🐟

Customer service is always great. Decent selection of hardware. What it’s lacking is quality fish. Decent selection of saltwater fish, but upon further inspection you can find some type of issue with a majority. Knowing they all share the same water raises concern. My last two visits for mixing salt I noticed a fish just rolled over and barely Hanging on while the lady stood right next to it carrying on a conversation. Today I visited and was Curious about the selection of tangs. Although I did find a purple tank, this one had fin rot, complete loss of color in the tail fin and not very active. Hard pass, Unfortunately. I’ll stick to Marine Warehouse for my needs. Larger selection and great Quarantine procedures.

My “candy” store! I’ve drove by this place a thousand times, but never had time to stop; today was my first visit. Love this place! If you have a fish/aquarium hobby, hope you have self control, because my eyes felt like they were going to pop out from all the cool stuff to browse! Very nice selection, prices are fair, and staff are super friendly and helpful! Everything was well organized, also fish and plants were very healthy! Will definitely be back!

Consistent stock and fairly good pricing across the board. The staff are very helpful and, for the most part, can help you with any issues you may be having in your at home tank. They have both salt and fresh water stock as well as tanks, chems, foods and filtration. Overall a very nice shop. Their coral selection is amazing if you have a reef tank. I definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

I have mixed feelings about this place. 2-3 months ago this would have been a 5 star review. I have been purchasing fish here for about 6 months now. 3 days ago I purchased some fish to add to the aquarium. The blue tang that came was very low-energy from the get go, didn't look good. Figured maybe just bored alone in the aquarium at the store and not active. I got her home, same thing in my tank. Very low energy, laying on her side. Next day, fish is swimming sideways and upside down, anyway but correct. Clear issues with the fish - morning of the 3rd day the fish is dead. Rest of the fish in the aquarium are doing just fine. Called the aquarium before heading in - they have changed their warranty policy as of December 05 2022. Saltwater fish HAVE NO WARRANTY. Prior reviews about the store giving store credit no longer apply. BE WARNED. Out $70 because of a sick fish. The staff is always very helpful and the store itself is gorgeous. They have a really big stock. I've asked the staff lots of questions to make sure I'm doing everything right, getting second opinions, but the warranty change was a shock and I wouldn't have taken the chance on the Tang had I known the policy had changed.

Absolutely love this store. Matt has helped me both times that I’ve been in to get everything I need to set up my 30 Gallon freshwater tank. He helped me pick out my plants and when it was time, my fish. So far everything he suggested has been spot on and I’ve had zero issues. He really knows what he’s talking about!

Disappointed. Just moved to area from Tampa where I had a great salt water store that had taken a lot of time for me to start my tank. I asked “ excuse me, can I please have some help “ and the employee who was doing stock work said “ I am busy right now so your going to have to wait” I was able to walk around the store again and found limited fish options and the worker didn’t come back. So I walked out the front door.

Helpful and courteous staff. We are new to the Brandon area but have frequented this local store many times for our freshwater needs. Highly recommend.

First time going in this store. Had a small fish selection, corals are hard to see in there tanks, doesn’t have all supplies/ equipment needed for the hobby. Amazon is much cheaper than their prices for a lot of things, they charge nearly double. I’m surprised they are a Red Sea dealer That’s about the only upside to be honest.

Usually don't post reviews but this popped up and it's a great place. 90% of our livestock and one of our aquariums came from there. If there's a fish that's important to me, it will only come from here. If there's coral I want, this is my first stop. Equipment for our 3rd tank? All being purchased here. Jana has been a huge help and is extremely knowledgeable. Can't say a bad word about anyone here. Anyone I've ever dealt with here either answered my questions or found someone to answer them immediately. The owner worked with us to fix an equipment problem we were having with a major manufacturer. He went above and beyond and we appreciate that. We'll continue to do our fish banking here and keep sending our friends. Keep up the great work guys. Our success in this hobby is a direct reflection of the service we have received from this store.

Best aquarium shop from Tampa to Lakeland. Owner John is real nice. Good selection of livestock, food and suppliments.

Small mom and pop store, with good variety of saltwater fish. Not much selection with fresh water fish when I was there. But, the staff was friendly and knowlegeable. They informed to come back next week when a new shipment of fish is scheduled to come in. Will visit again.

Went in to buy three colored crawfish (red, white and a cool blue one) as well as some feeder shrimp for them. The employee told me she could not sell me any of the feeders (which were in the for sale aquarium) because they only had about 12 left and had to feed their own fish with those. Today would have only been a $70 purchase, but I am a regular customer who has to drive out of my way to go there. It was very disappointing- especially for the reason given.

Nice Saltwater store. They have quit a bit of Merchandise, corals and fish. They had some larger colonys. The workers were very nice. I didn't buy anything because I am from Indiana .

Best fish store around!! I've been coming here for awhile have bought plenty of fish,hard scape and Aquarium supplies from them. Everything always healthy and the staff us super friendly knowledgeable and patient

This place is a must for anyone who keeps fresh water or saltwater fish! My family absolutely loves coming here and the fish look great and the employees are very helpful and they always take the time to answer any questions. We love that tang in the coral tub. He is like a little puppy dog!

Beautiful selection of both marine and tropical fish. Everyone working here is very knowledgeable and helps you choose compatible fish, they test your water and offer great advice.

Been going here for years. Great local aquarium shop. Staff very helpful and will be honest if your tank is compatible with your choices. Have your best interest in mind which is sometimes rare in the aquarium world. We appreciate this place.

Great selection of fresh and salt water fish. Coral frags are good quality and reasonably priced. Employees are knowledgeable and will take time to answer your questions.

I am new to the hobby after several trips to pet supermarket decided to Google up an "aquarium store near me" The place was packed with both customers and jaw dropping aquariums Despite being packed the store had plenty of associates and the guy who helped me out went above and beyond and gave great advice on upgrading my current setup. Highly recommend and will be back for more stuff soon!

Nice fishes , but bad customer service i could count a 5 crew in total . Fortunately we found anoher Aquarium Store!! In this store with just 2 persons , Our frien Nathan give us all the answers. Empatic , wise and totally advocates to offer solutions .

Jonathon, the store owner is very knowledgeable and courteous. Store personnel are also helpful. Jonathon installed my new Red Sea Reefer 350 G2 Deluxe. I am very happy with the set up process and Aquarium performance! I highly recommend Jonathon and his store!

Very satisfied. At least three employees asked to help. Looked around and found very healthy livestock. I was very pleased with the amount of Java fern I got for the money. Other places want to sell you two leaves for $5.00. I will definitely go back to get my fish once my tank is cycled
