Was a little nervous about ordering fish online to be honest but I wasn’t disappointed all of the fish I ordered came in looking perfect as if they hand picked the best looking and healthiest of the group each time. I was reluctant to buy fish online but I gave it a shot and Imperial Tropicals didn't disappoint. I had some normal shipping issues and they quickly helped me work through them. They checked back everyday to make sure the fish were still healthy. Excellent customer service! Beautiful Rainbowfish!

It has been 4 weeks since I ordered a whole bunch of freshwater fish from Imperial Tropicals. All fish arrived alive and well and are all very happy and healthy today. I had never ordered fish online before, but this was amazing. I would definitely order again from these folks.

I have just placed my third order with imperial tropicals and I could not be more pleased with them. The fish have all been amazing quality and the customer service is bar none. I wanted to share that I have been purchasing fish from Imperial Tropicals for 1.5-2 years now, and have always received high quality fish, but for the most part, there customer service is fabulous. If you have any questions, or an issue, they put you as the customer first, and resolve!

Highly recommend! This may have been the most seamless positive experience I have ever had ordering live fish (3 angels and 10 creamsicle Dalmatian mollies). They arrived quickly, packaged perfectly and the communication was on point. All fish arrived alive and active. Only 1 of my 10 mollies passed a day later (and I am sure its just a result of stress - I do not fault Imperial Tropicals in any way) Everyone is else is doing great and adjusted surprisingly fast. I look forward to ordering from Imperial Tropicals again as soon as I'm allowed to set up more tanks :)

I ordered 2 breeder packs, both German strain dragon bloods. 1 breeder was advertised as a pair(1male and 1 female). The other breeder pack was advertised as 1 male and 3 females. I received all 6 dragon bloods healthy and all survived. Thank you for that. I was supposed to receive a total of 2 Males. However all fish ended up being females. Luckily. Thanks to their amazing customer service, I was helped and they made things right. Thank you for understanding and everything that you do! I will be ordering again! Haik

Ordered around 20 fish from I.T. of different selections. Shipping was out the next day and I received the package with no DOA, the package was snugly packaged, double bagged with a heating pad. They will be my primary fish dealer from now on. Update: Have ordered twice more since the original post and both have been the same great service and quality as the first. Update: Ordered a chichlid package from IT and same as my previous orders, came in faster than 24 hours, packaging was top tier and all fish arrived healthy. Have had them for a little over a month now with no issues, all look happy and healthy.

Have purchased from Imperial Tropical twice now, having fish shipped to NY. Excellent experience all around both times. The selection of available fish is impressive, including some quite rare ones, and the quality and beauty of fish that arrived is incredible. Gorgeous colors, healthy, all as promised. High quality and care in packaging is evident. Fish meticulously packaged and labeled and actions taken for temp control as needed - most recent order delivered in 29 degree weather and temp in the package with heat packs was just as it should be. Beautiful additions to my aquariums. While I also heartily support my local fish stores, access to an even wider selection is a nice option for hobbyists. Was reluctant to order fish online but with Imperial Tropical, there’s no need to be. Really appreciate and respect this fish store! ❤️

Dear Tropical, Today I received another shipment from Imperial Tropical. That was my 4 or maybe 5 shipments. Imperial tropical was my first online store in my Aquarium journey. Very happy about their service. Always good size nice healthy color full fish. Never lost any fish, even though lots of people quarantine their new fish for I just acclimated. I told this to Mike Bernard but I think it deserves to be said about the entire IT staff so apply the following to yourself and your fellow coworkers! You may think of yourself as just another hobbyist but I think you deserve a bit more credit than that. You and the imperial team strive and push the community to practice keeping fish correctly. And the fish you provide are second to none from Africans to central or South American cichlids to nano fish, corys and plecos. I’ve had 0 DoAs over any of my orders and I’ll continue to order from IT for years to come!

I have made several purchases with Imperial Tropicals for a few years now and I can definitely say they do a great job. I have purchased several Rainbow fish from them and a school of otocat and they never disappoint. The shipping was always packed properly the description, price and quality of the animals are amazing. I've ordered multiple fish from this breeder and I have never been dissatisfied. Fish were always healthy and live on arrival. They have excellent customer service and great shipping rates. I live in Florida and could take the 2 hour drive but for the price they offer for shipping it's a no brainier, although I do plan on visiting soon.

I bought several fish, a couple bags were leaking, but since they were triple bagged all fish survived just fine. Also worth mentioning I live across the country from them.overall ordering and shipping was done well. My issue is that I ordered two Thumbi West OB one fish arrived looking how I would expect the other one is just a blue mbuna of some kind. I sent photos before the bag was opened as requested and was told to wait, so I did. Just as I expected this fish never turned from dark blue to lighter color with OB variations. After several emails exchanges I was sent a Google link that does show images of a blue fish. The one I have does not look identical to any of those images, but most importantly it does not have the OB variations and does not look similar to the image on the website. I already know with these fish guarantee they are not going to refund the shipping cost, to the cost of the fish is not minimal. I never expected a refund and I never asked for one. I never replied to the last email because it was just a waste of time. I am only leaving a review because they emailed me today and asked for a review.
