    Moved in last Year, and was promised that the balcony full of mold was going to be cleaned up, as well as the dirty unit. There is hardly no hot water, bathroom mirror not properly installed, neighbors are extremely loud at 1-3am, dog waste all over the place, piece of the flooring missing, and I could go on an on. I pay $2,400 for this junk of unit, even thought I have spoken to the manager regarding this situation many many times, no one has done anything. A year has passed and no maintenance has fix the unit. It is obvious that Debra the manager seems not to care about this community at all, wish someone else more professional and caring would replace her soon. Kassandra is super nice and she really wants to turn this place into a five star community, but her hand is tight up; there so much she can do. (She might be a great manager) This must be the worse place Iā€™ve ever rented, and I do not recommend this community to anyone. Spoke to several neighbors and they canā€™t wait for their lease to end so they can move elsewhere. I wish I could give this place a zero star! Iā€™ve place so many orders on the portal app requesting maintenance but for some strange reason they states being short of staff. Well itā€™s been a year; are you still short of staff ? Definitely the worse place to live at, plus the prices are ridiculous for an outdated unit.

    The area is great, donā€™t have any issues with any of my neighbors or the residents, only issue is if you want to call the front office good luck they never answer their phone, itā€™s either you show up in person and get lucky that they arenā€™t ā€œbusyā€ maintenance workers are nice but takes forever for management to get them out there. I have been trying to know what my new lease is going to be for about three weeks no call back and no answer when I call in, also trying to add somebody to my lease but again they donā€™t answer their phone. Apartments do look nice, and maintenance is on top of things, itā€™s just management.

    If I could give it 0 stars I would. The prices are outrageous for how rundown these apartments are. The air conditiong is constantly breaking, plus, there is infestations of all kinds: rats, roaches, and termites. They have no emergency maintenance services and you have to keep on them to get them to fix anything. When you call the office about these situations the staff appears as if they could care less. Some of these apartments should probably be condemned. DO NOT RENT HERE, you'll regret it. I'd also be suspicious of any of these 5 star reviews. They seem planted to me.

    4 year Great Tenant always pay. Washer caught fire and smoked 4 weeks ago still no replacement. I don't blame office staff but management is horrible if they can't make executive decisions. As a contractor they'd be fired after a week of poor performance.

    For months now we have tried to get our oven door handle and microwave handle fixedā€¦ obviously still has not been resolved. Then for the last two weeks there has been trash all over the main pull inā€¦ extremely welcoming if I must say. A few months ago a dead body was pulled out of the pond next to the complex. That really goes to show how the area is definitely getting worse. The pool has been closed several time this year alone and the hot tub seems to always be closed. The staff is nice but the absolute lack of communication to the staff is unbelievable. I shouldnā€™t have to wait months to get maintenance which I am sure was not documented properly so that will be something ā€œ we brokeā€ when really it couldnā€™t be the ancient appliances provided. The rent continues to increase without anything to show for it. We arenā€™t gated even the gates have been gone for 3 or 4 years but I can almost guarantee we are all paying for gates we donā€™t have. All in all the complex isnā€™t that nice and the you canā€™t get any work done even though on all the reviews they want to say the resident satisfaction is important to them. It definitely is not a priority at all! Basically the nicest part of the entire complex is the main office if you can over look the trash when you park outside of it. ****As seen below*****

    This company has performed a bait and switch tactic on my fiancƩ and I for our new apartment. First, they signed a contract with us for a completely different unit. A week post all parties signing the contract, they informed us the unit was no longer available but that they had another unit available for a higher price and an ~1month earlier move in date (we are aware from another review that this is not the first time they have done this). The higher price, they told us in writing as well as in person, was due to upgraded appliances, new cabinets, new countertops and new flooring. After negotiating with them on move in dates, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and signed a new contract with them for two weeks earlier than our original move in date and at the higher price. We were not allowed to see the unit before signing the contract nor post signing the contract. They provided us with excuses such as current tenants are still residing in the unit or that maintenance for upgrades was on going. They also showed us images of other units, let us tour other units, and stated our unit should look like these and like the images on their website. Upon entering our unit on move in day, the only upgrade that was present was new flooring in the kitchen--our apartment did not look as promised by them. Additionally, the unit appeared to have not been cleaned (mold present on porch and in window, food particles in microwave, hair in toilet), and several infrastructure issues were present (broken lock on window and back door to porch, warped bottom cabinet under sink, broken faceplates, chipped bathtub coating). When we asked them why our unit had none of the upgrades we were promised, they admitted to us that they made a mistake and misinformed us of the unit we were getting. When we asked them how we could remedy this issue, they only offered us an earlier move out date of 7 months post move in (rather than the 1 year that we signed for).

    First, the maintenance guys are amazing and friendly. They all said hello on my visit and one went above and beyond to help me. Conversely, the leasing office is a disaster. To view the apartment, I was first sent to the wrong one with the key for another apartment. When I called the leasing office (because they couldn't be bothered to show me around) I was informed that I was at the wrong apartment and treated as though I couldn't read. The apartment itself was miniscule and the porch area clearly not maintained. For the prices they're asking you can get a luxury apartment only ten minutes away. When I returned to the leasing office I did not receive an apology for the inconvenience and mix up. Instead, when I showed the leasing agent the paper she continued to insist that she told me the right thing. I understand that mistakes happen. What matters is how mistakes are handled. This leasing office would rather deny culpability than say "I'm sorry about the mix up."

    My experience here doesn't seem to be of any use or value. The issues have not been resolved not to mention this was the third attempt to fix the leaking toilet and shower water coming thru the ceiling of our bathroom. Being a loyal and compliment renter for 7 years...the leasing staff exhibit little concern with our needs.

    Tons of random extra charges for a terribly filthy residence. Clearly a scam. Apartment had food grime on the baseboards, urine on the toilet bowl seat and burn marks on the countertops from cigarettes. Roach corpses and spiders litter the apartment and even inside the fridge, Cob webs everywhere. Property manager (Daniel) does not respond or fix issues. They charge a move out cleaning fee $175 but they just pocket most of it by the looks of things here. My dryer doesnā€™t even work. I regret moving in here and I only been here a week. Itā€™s disgusting and they donā€™t give a damn about the residents. They even left an eviction notice on my door for the previous resident and didnā€™t bother contacting me or removing it.

    Terrible experience, we first put down our deposit and applied for an apartment. We soon had an invoice with the incorrect apartment lease causing a $150 increase a month. After fighting that only a week before we were supposed to get the keys, we were notified that the previous tenants were not moving out, and told to choose another apartment that was a available a MONTH! later and at a higher price starting us a ground zero again as if we never applied. You would think that they would check or notify the person that they are moving out due to a failure to respond to a lease renewal/termination notice before putting the apartment up for rent. I wish there was a lower rating than a 1 cause the complex doesn't even deserve that. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

    Office staff are impossible to reach. Phone is never answered. The system says it will contact a team member for you but they donā€™t call back. Iā€™m disabled and going to the office in person is a big ordeal for me. Simple common courtesy like returning a call is lost here. **Per reply I sent an email to Debra on 8/31 and today is 9/14 and still no reply. Maintenance issues regarding mold and mildew from leak not being followed up on. Also while the redo of the handicapped ramp was great they moved the parking space and the new space is definitely not handicapped friendly. It is smaller than it was was and if disabled person is driving them have to back into space. Then they are getting out of the car where a uneven payment is causing a trip and fall hazard. Also using the back end of the car (trunk/hatchback) for a walker or wheelchair is difficult because there is only dirt behind the car. Sidewalk was removed. Walker and wheelchair do not work in the soft sandy dirt. Talking to the disabled person on the fixes needed would have been a great help. There wouldnā€™t be the new issues they are ignoring.

    I was so excited to see this apartment complex as it was only a few minutes from where my husband is going to be working. We drove down from Pensacola, which was a 6.5 hour drive, to view apartments. We visited on a Saturday and when we got to Walden Lake Apartments we first got lost in the complex and couldnā€™t find the leasing office. Finally, we got to the office about 15 minutes before closing and only wanted to see a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit, not too much to ask for. The lady was on her computer and was not helpful at all saying that we can make an appointment and come back Monday since it was close to closing time. We explained we drove 6.5 hours and were leaving early Monday morning and couldnā€™t wait til 10am when they opened. She seemed very lazy and I was shocked to see someone so unhelpful and rude. I wish I could speak to management because there was plenty of time to show us one unit which wouldā€™ve taken just a few minutes. Seems like she didnā€™t want to do any more work for the day and wanted to leave early. Iā€™m glad after reading other reviews that we didnā€™t waste our time with this place but it was such nasty service that I was so upset and had to leave a review. I wish the hospitality was much better and I hope management really handles this or else they will continue to lose customers.

    Addendum: After I move in I moved in August 14, and when I moved in, the BATHTUB is DISGUSTING. It is so dirty, and the drainage looked like full of bacteria! They said they will come back the following day, so I don't mind. But Since I moved in, nobody came! Have been following for the past few weeks, no one has addressed the issue. It is really unsanitary! I also requested for the COBWEBS and DUST BALLS outside the apartment as it a health hazard. No one really has addressed it. It is so filthy! Old post: Before I move in. I booked an appointment for a Friday Morning, however in Thursday afternoon, I happen to finish my appointments early, and gave a call if I can have a tour of the apartments that afternoon. Kassandra took time to check the appointment schedules that afternoon, and happily took me for a tour. She explained the amenities of the apartment complex, and honest with some downside of the apartment like train noises during the day (which I don't mind). She is very enthusiastic and efficient. I cannot wait to move into the apartment complex by August!

    We called and made an appointment and when we arrived the home that we would have viewed was no longer available. Although we were disappointed that no one called ahead to notify us of the change we were happy to be greeted by a helpful staff. We had a lot of questions and even though the associates were newer they worked as a team to get us the answers we needed. They recommended we take a look around the community which was clean and all of the neighbors seemed friendly. We applied and were approved within 48 hours. All in all we are excited to move in and thankful for your assistance along the way!

    You pay $1,400+ a month for outdated apartments with problems that the maintenance team never come to fix regardless of how many times you've submitted a request online. And have access to a pool/hot tub that is always closed for some reason. And have a back and forth process for paying your rent and other things regarding information for your apartment. Such a mess of a community.

    UPDATE Iā€™m truly disappointed right now. I will say Kassandra seemed the best, but for all the issues thatā€™s occurred right before we move in, and that being TODAY. Iā€™m truly truly displeased. Where did all these new reviews come from, of course now theyā€™re horrendous!! My apt was not at all cleaned properly! mold in the room windows, bathrooms, broken sliding glass door, horrendous touch up/pain jobs, water heater area super gross! Caked with dirt and other things even a dirty Q-tip, dirty kitchen cabinets (greasy and oily) , dirty baseboards, peeling of the paint in the kitchen area near the cabinets. Etcccc Iā€™m sure the list will sadly go on. Smh NOWā€¦ā€¦. The 3/2 I VIEWED at the beginningā€¦ was in AMAZING shape but something happened with the lease information and the moving in dateā€¦ so we were noticed another apt we were to move into.. (funny saw this happened to someone else last year hmm šŸ¤”) so now TODAY I got to view the other apt, and itā€™s ā€œupdatesā€ I truly see no difference except it looks dirty and run down. Complete OPPOSITE of the 3/2 I originally viewed w my family. These apartments are incredibly pricey! For something at this price I do expect much better! I am waiting tomorrow for my unit to be cleaned properly, and the issues I noticed during the walk through this morning, to be fixed BY Tuesday. Previous review! This placed has changed big time, and itā€™s for the better!! The leasing consultant Kassandra was amazing! She was very patient, explained everything detailed, answered any questions I had, and she was very welcoming. Itā€™s nice to actually feel welcomed. Most apt complexes make you feel like your just another #.

    I've put in a maintenance request twice for my dishwasher not working, and both times they were "completed" with no one even coming to look at it! No reason given, just marked as done! Not to mention the multiple requests (4 in the last month) for my A/C not blowing cold air and getting up to 90 degrees inside! I haven't had any problems before, but definitely not satisfied right now.

    Once the maintenance men arrived, they determined the problem and rectified the issues. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5, was the length of time it took to have someone arrive. My washing machine was leaking water into the kitchen and no one showed up until the next day and I had to call 2 times. The maintenence men were very courteous and professional and did an excellent job.

    My experience with Walden Lakes Apartments began great but then it was sold multiple times and the quality of management has fallen off tremendously. We didn't want to move, we had to move. However there was a young lady in the front office who was very helpful and professional, thank you.

    Iā€™ve lived here for several years, and generally speaking, have been pleased with my experience. Maintenance responds quickly to requests and the office staff is helpful and friendly. My only issue is with repairs to the air conditioning. My ac has needed repairs more times than Iā€™d like to count, and all they do is ā€œband aidā€ fixes and the problem keeps reoccurring. This is Florida. We need our ac like we need air to breathe. Also, they claim to be ā€œsmoke freeā€ but thatā€™s a crock. People smoke on their balconies all the time and no one monitors it. Itā€™s disgusting.

    In less than 24 hours 2 young men responded to repair my dryer. They were very neat, friendly and professional. And, they fixed it in less than 10 minutes. I did not expect such a prompt and efficient response in such a large apartment complex.

    Dropped in to set up an appointment to go over options. I quickly received a friendly welcome from Kassandra in the leasing office. Kassandra quickly went over availability and amenities since I didnā€™t have much time. Very informative and detailed. Overall a great experienceā€¦ Thanks for all of your assistance!

    Stopped in to check on available apartments and was immediately greeted by Isabella. She explained all of the current options and prices and carted me around to look at a few. Nice apartments and great personnel. Next month I'll be moving in.
