    complete lack of caring. feel no need to answer phone at all and then they have no desire to explain anything about medication. i needed to know why my medication was not being filled and i got no assistance except to say my insurance doesn’t cover that brand. i ask if there are any other brands that i could get and they said yes and told me they would call doctors office to tell them. they never did and now i am trying to find out the medicine and i can’t without their assistance which they do not want to give me.

    This is BY FAR the worst pharmacy location iv ever used! The customer service is very unprofessional!! I called yesterday 8/7 after Walgreens informed me they no longer accept my insurance I needed to contact CVS and they would need to call Walgreens to have the prescriptions transferred. I called and sat on hold for over 30 minutes. I then drove to CVS to find no line what so ever and everyone just standing around! I went up to the counter and right off the bat the older lady with glasses had an attitude! I informed her of what I needed done and she say it’s going to take 48-72 hours before anything will transfer so if corse that’s super aggravating since I need these prescriptions for both my children. I then contacted my childrens pediatrician the next morning and just had them re send both prescriptions to CVS since that would be faster than waiting. I later get the text that they are ready for pick up. I go there to pick them up and it’s like a waiting game and very frustrating as I just want to pick up the medication and go home! The girl helping me is not knowledgeable at all and has to wait for help so again I’m waiting…It gets to the point where I’m over it all and start getting frustrated with the girl and she just starts feeding me excuses. After all is said and done on my part the girl hangs up the phone in the drive through line and walks away. The pharmacy manager then comes over and tells me she is refusing to give me both the prescriptions and that I’m banned for the pharmacy. She then adds if I do not leave she will call the cops hangs up the phone and walks away! By this point I go inside and asked the store manager for the corporate phone number which he kindly gives me. After speaking with corporate my prescriptions were transferred to another CVS down the road and they informed me I will be getting a call no later than Monday for someone higher because the whole situation absolutely ridiculous! I go and pick up the prescriptions 30 minutes later from the other CVS and was in and out in less that 5 minutes with NO PROBLEMS AS ALL! I’m just in disbelief at where they found these people to work in a pharmacy! They all need to be fired and fine people who will actually do the job correctly and have better customer service skills!

    Tried to call three times over two days. Left two messages, no return call. Third time we were out on hold for 18 minutes then hung up on. Went in… waited forever to be told they didn’t receive the prescription the Dr office insisted they called in. Hard to believe CVS lets this store continue operating at this level.

    If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've lived in Plant City almost 20 years and I've never had a good experience at the CVS pharmacy. They tell you one thing on the phone and then another thing when you get there. It always took several trips and phone calls to fill my birth control. The same prescription every month and there was always a problem. I've dropped off prescriptions with a promise that they would be done at a certain time and I come back and they tell me the next day. This last time, I signed up for a Covid booster online and they when I arrived I was told I wasn't eligible because of my age. The website asked me my age. If you want to buy overpriced sunscreen or cosmetics, fine, but I would never use the pharmacy here. I will do my best to never come back here again.

    Worst pharmacy ever!!! Everyone in this pharmacy is super unprofessional. I was trying to get a medication for my daughter and they told me the doctor didn’t send it. I spoke to the doctor and she said she sent it over three times. I went back the medicine and they kept telling me they cant find it so I got the doctor on the phone and they refused to talk to her, my doctor said she tried to call them from the office and they wouldn’t answer, she was on speaker and was trying to give them a verbal order and they refused to talk to me or her. I asked to talk to the manager and she yelled over the wall am not talking to them. I tried talking to someone who could help me or even attempt to look for the medicine that the provider was trying to explain it went through but they all refused to talk to me, help me or even try to resolve it with the doctor. The doctor even told them she can provide her license number over the phone or to answer the phone she was on hold with them and they all refused. They are so unprofessional, they all couldn’t bother to do their job. I just needed my daughter to feel better. They all lack empathy, respect, and basic manners. I will never use this store ever, they are all pompous and incompetent.

    I am not quite sure how this pharmacy manages to remain open despite providing shockingly poor service. I requested a prescription be transferred to this pharmacy and was informed the transfer would take 24 hours. 4 days later I attempted to inquire regarding the status of the prescription and was told it would be ready for pickup in 3 hours. Upon arrival, none of the staff was able to locate any of my information. 2 weeks after the date of the original transfer request, I received a call from the pharmacy stating the transfer was ready to begin but a call back was requested to confirm the details of the transfer. I returned the call to inform the staff that it had been 2 weeks since the original request was made and that I would like to cancel the request. The staff curtly replied, “got it,” and proceeded to terminate the call. This was my first and last experience using a CVS Pharmacy.

    My fiancé and I lost our vaccination cards, my fiancé went yesterday and they gave her a new one no problem. I went today to get mine and the incompetent red haired lady at the drop off window would not give me a new card saying they don’t do that. She was extremely rude and would not even look me up in their system. Staff at the front of the store were confused as to why they would not give me a new one and recommended I go to a different CVS to get a new one. Went to a different store a few miles away who gave me a new one no problem. They would not answer the phone when I called to let them know either.

    How this pharmacy manages to stay open is beyond me. They are extremely understaff, and the staff that they do have is rude and unprofessional. People depend on these medications and shouldn’t be made to wait for hours sometimes days. Only have one tech at night to run pick up and drive thru. How is a single person able to manage with no help. Need to fix this asap.

    Avoid this pharmacy if you can. Not only was their staff incredibly rude when we first went in, they absolutely will not answer their phones. I stayed on hold for a total of 46 minutes only to get hung up on twice (one time they picked up, didn’t say hello, and just sat the phone down. I could hear the staff member ringing up other patients and talking to them for 3 minutes before they finally hung up). I even tried the provider line and they still didn’t pick up. There are some better local options in the area that actually still care about you as a patient (or a human being), try going there.

    God awful customer service. I was there tonight an they informed me my daughter prescription was out of stock for the next 4 days….. I waited all day for them to fill it an they never called to inform me it was out of stock. So I ask them if they can transfer it somewhere else that does have it in stock. They found somewhere an said they were sending it over but it takes about an hour for the other pharmacy to receive it an the other pharmacy closed in 1.5 hours. So I said ok I guess I’ll have to wait until the morning. We’ll now it’s morning an the other pharmacy says they don’t have the prescription that the Alexander location still did. So they never transferred it for me. So now I’m waiting another hour or two to hopefully get it filled. I called alexanader location an inquired why it was transferred an the lady was rude on the phone an said they don’t transfer prescriptions that the other pharmacy has to go in the computer an get it. Sooooo someone lied to me at that store. Regardless im now over 24 hours from when my daughter got her prescription an still have no meds. She had an allergic reaction an her meds are steroids to help her hives . She is miserable but big pharma doesn’t care.

    If I could I’d give Zero stars! Pharmacy is a complete disaster. To get a medication fill takes them days if you’re lucky if not more. And no empathy they are very rude. When you call they never answer and they hear the phones but choose to ignore. I was on the phone for 2hrs waiting and just gave up. Very sad to see how they treat people and see nothing being done about it. They have zero care for the need of some people who urgently need their medication. DO BETTER CVS!!

    Avoid the pharmacy at all cost! The staff is totally nonchalant & rude. In particular the black haired lady. The day I received a procedure & am not feeling well… I come in peace & all I need is the medicine the doctor called in but I am met with rude staff twice trying to pick up the medicine. My logic is why work the job if you hate it so much, especially if you are serving people that are potentially not well. CVS management needs to review this staff. Btw they make it a point not to pick up the phone so your forced to come in to see their frowning faces.

    My parents are in their 80s and have all of their prescriptions at this cvs. This pharmacy is not perfect but I have to give Ziry 5 stars. She goes above and beyond every time. She always looks for discounts and questions insurance when prices don’t look right. My parents and I are born and raised in Plant City. Trust me, all pharmacies in this town have their issues…

    They close the drive through all the time lately. The sign in the window says pharmacy closed. My family was told it was due to a COVID outbreak the staff suffered. Why close the drive thru during a COVID outbreak? Make people come in and risk exposure to your employees that could’ve been exposed? This pharmacy has major issues. The staff and pharmacist have serious critical thinking issues. This location also does not order needed medications when given advanced notice of refills needed. Your better off going else where for a pharmacy that wants to be a partner in your health care team.

    I went into CVS tonight and I was Racially profiled by a worker named Carey that works in the pharmacy department! I followed one Caucasian woman with her two kids to the restrooms in CVS when we came to see that the customer restroom was out of order ! So she went to ask Carey is ir possible that her little girl can you the employee restroom, CAREY SAID YES WITHOUT A PROBLEM. So I thought since she said yes to them it will be the same for me. Sadly not. She went to open the door and someone was in there already so we waited . While we waited she was talking to them . I asked can I use the restroom after them …she hesitated and said well I have to ask my manager. Then she continued to talk to them and started stressing she will get in trouble . So I said well can you go and ask management , she replied that her manager RICK was using the restroom . Long story short he came out she let them in no problem then asked her manager can I use the restroom….he said yes.. like duh Sherlock you said yes to one customer you have to say yes to the other !!

    Waited on hold for the pharmacy for 14 minutes they picked up and disconnected the call. I called back and still on hold after 24 minutes. I would email or contact the manager if there was another way to communicate to them. Poor customer service.

    I set up a table at CVS on North Alexander to assist people with Healthcare & Medicare. I appreciate the Store Manager (Mike), who was very helpful. I also appreciate Aetna for placing me in the store to help people. I will be at this store on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 pm to 2 pm. I hope you come by and let me help you with your insurance needs.

    I can not say enough about the store Manager (Ricky) at 403 N Alexander St. Plant City Fl. Angel in disguise! He went above and beyond!!! He should be recognized by his higher ups. I was so sick and did not want to come into the store and was having a problem getting through to the pharmacy. I had been on hold for 35 minutes and then was disconnected when the guy answered I had called back to talk to the store manager, which was Ricky, my angel, he had everything taken care of within five minutes of our conversation. thank you Ricky you’re a five star manager.

    Worst pharmacy ever deserves 0 stars. They never have the prescription that my doctors call in, I have been told that their system is down many times and I have to pay cash prices because they can’t look up my insurance, so slow, rude, and they have given me prescription for someone else. My insurance makes me go to cvs so I am stuck but if you can avoid

    DO NOT BOTHER FILLING PRESCRIPTIONS HERE. I am very sick and had my prescriptions sent over by my physician on 04/12 around noon, my mom went to pick up my prescriptions around 4:30pm and they said they wouldn’t be ready until 6:30pm. I got a text around 5:45pm saying my prescriptions are ordered and I will get a text when they’re ready. It is now 4/13 at 9am and no text. I drove up there to see if they’re ready and only ONE is. Because they are out of stock of the antibiotic I NEED to get better and back to work. The woman behind the counter blamed their automated messages for not notifying me of them being out of stock, when that’s the type of information that should be given through a PHONE CALL so you can have your prescription filled somewhere that can actually do their job. Bring back Eckards, might have more success!

    Absolutely terrible. Called them several times over the span of several days and no answer. They keep telling me my son’s prescription isn’t there when the doctor has told me they sent the information over. The man behind the counter was incredibly rude to me and I witnessed him be rude to two other customers behind me. He cut me off and walked away from me while I was talking to him. I saw him blatantly ignore a woman who only spoke Spanish and when one of the other workers asked him about it he said, “I couldn’t get anywhere with her, so…” and shrugged. He also went so far as to call another gentleman who came in to pick up his meds an idiot. I was astounded.

    Please tell me why it’s acceptable for this pharmacy to continue their behavior. Not only they’re known about It through other pharmacy locations they do it to everyone, even providers. I have waited on hold for over an hour on multiple phone calls because THEY PICK UP THE PHONE TO HANG UP. Not once, not, twice, not three times; every single time I’ve attempted to call. Doctors call me to complain about them. How they’ve gotten hung up multiple times after waiting 20+ minutes. Other cvs locations have told not to bother calling bc they will continue to do it. I have been inside waiting in line and hear 60 minutes on hold for phone call being announced. How is this acceptable?

    This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. My sons prescription was sent over over 6 hours ago and they haven’t even feeler it or started it. I tried to have it transferred but they can’t because they haven’t started the process. I calls 4 times on hold for over 45 mins no answer. This is just bad patient care. When another pharmacy is having the same issue that is a problem. I’m so disappointed. I gave them a another try this my third time nothing but issues. Something needs to change here.

    This pharmacy sucks. Takes forever to speak to someone. They answer then hang up. Refuse to transfer prescriptions and tell you straight up they don't have time for this. Also had a issue with the photo department as well last year refusing me my photos because they failed to print out all of my photos even though they were already paid for and I had a receipt to prove they were... worst CVS ever!!!

    It would help if they actually answered the phone. I've tried to call at least a dozen times over the past week and have yet to speak to an actual person. I've never dealt with a company that could care less if they can retain their customers. Not only that, but the people who work at this CVS are the most inept and rude people ever. They should replace their entire pharmacy staff.

    All of my prescriptions are filled at this pharmacy, but it has to be the worst in customer service! The store is open 24 hrs so that's a plus, however WHENEVER I've gone into this store, like around midnight, the staff obviously immediately targets me. The worker stops whatever she doing and walks behind me so so suspiciously. It is ridiculously annoying. Maybe its paranoia because of the late hour, but I highly suspect it more related to profiling. JUST STOP IT FOLKS, YOU LOOK RIDICULOUS!

    Most of the negative reviews on here are for the pharmacy but the actual store itself is always clean, stocked, and the staff is helpful and friendly. No complaints.
