One
of
my
worst
hospital
experiences
yet.
I’m
19
and
27
weeks
pregnant
and
my
blood
pressure
has
been
higher
than
normal
for
me
and
I
have
upper
right
abdominal
pain.
(All
signs
of
preeclampsia).
I
came
in
seeking
help
and
while
they
got
me
to
a
room
quickly
the
nurses
lacked
compassion
and
didn’t
listen
to
my
concerns.
They
doctor
didn’t
bother
seeing
me
once.
They
stopped
monitoring
my
blood
pressure
after
an
hour
because
it
“wasn’t
high
enough
to
be
a
problem”
and
when
I
kept
asking
about
the
pain
I
was
experiencing
practically
in
my
chest
they
told
me
it’s
either
heartburn
or
just
from
the
weight
of
my
belly.
Which
is
bull
because
that
side
is
so
tender
I
can
barely
touch
it
or
sleep
on
it.
I
even
mentioned
that
I
haven’t
had
an
ultrasound
since
my
10
weeks
and
they
never
did
one.
They
did
some
labs
and
sent
me
home
because
“you
have
an
upcoming
doctors
appointment,
just
go
then.”
And
they
made
me
feel
like
all
my
concerns
were
unnecessary.
After
that
they
discharged
me.
Not
to
mention
they
never
told
me
my
results
just
said
they
came
back
fine
but
didn’t
actually
tell
me
how
everything
was
looking.
They
never
even
bothered
getting
me
water
or
an
IV,
nothing
.
I
know
I’m
young,
but
the
care
I
received
is
unacceptable
and
honestly
shameful.
Ik
my
blood
pressure
fluctuates
but
it
shouldn’t
be
high
first
thing
in
the
morning.
All
in
all
it
was
a
horrible
experience
and
the
way
they
made
me
feel
like
I
don’t
know
my
body
is
frustrating.
They
sent
me
home
with
a
list
of
common
pregnancy
symptoms
and
it’s
funny
how
the
symptoms
that
you
should
go
to
the
hospital
for
is
what
I
was
experiencing,
but
according
to
them
“pregnancy
is
just
hard
and
what
you’re
feeling
is
normal.”
Don’t
even
bother
wasting
your
time
with
these
people,
especially
if
you’re
young,
they’ll
make
sure
to
make
you
feel
like
a
burden.
Update:
now
4m
PP.
I
went
to
a
different
hospital
and
turned
out
I
had
a
swollen
gallbladder,
a
bruised
rib
cage
and
severe
pregnancy
diabetes
(blood
sugar
almost
at
200)
fasting.
I
became
high
risk
and
received
much
needed
care
thanks
to
trusting
my
gut
and
getting
a
second
opinion
at
another
hospital.
