    This company is run horribly. When quarantine was over they started charging my account even though I had not returned causing me overdraft fees in JULY! Now here we are in FEBRUARY and they charged my account again even though I canceled in JULY! I would never go here even with a free membership! They should pay me interest on the days it takes to return my money!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Update the owner who refuses to speak to me on the phone says Iā€™m not leaving a review for Fortify Fitness..... well thatā€™s who charged my account without authorization. My review stands this place is no good!!!

    Been a member since 2010. I was there yesterday and Went in today. I was told I Owed $150 plus late fees because I didnā€™t update my credit card in September. I asked why I was not told this yesterday when I visited and they claimed I had not been there according to their records. I have a picture I was there, but was told I did not scan in even though I did. I also did give them my credit card when I went in in September. It never registered. I even tried to lower my membership to the lower level at that point and that didnā€™t take either apparently. I was told that my membership has been canceled and turned into collections. Itā€™s March and I still havenā€™t been informed of the collections debt that was sent in December. I was told Itā€™s not their practice to tell you when they cancel your membership because they have over 3000 members and cannot keep track of that, they just turn it into collections. Terrible practice for finance. I will not return and do not recommend. The person behind the counter was rude and said he canā€™t believe that his employees all know how to register a New card and there is no way that I had turned in a new one. I have been a long term member but will take my business to a place that can do better with financial record keeping and not turn me into collections without informing me.

    Purchased about 30 gym trainings and did 21 out of 30 with Melvin & enjoyed it. Melvin unfortunately left the gym while I was undergoing surgery. I was on NO contract nor did I sign anything. When I reached out to Kyle about just refunding me the 9 sessions he went back and forth with me, told me although I didnā€™t sign any paperwork, I couldn't get a refund. I explained I physically could not do training due to medical reasons and Melvin was leaving. He explained to transition to different trainers. I tried to explain to him I was uncomfortable with other trainers because of things I noticed in the gym as well as some of them popping up randomly on my personal social media. I again asked for a refund, but he would not budge. He created many excuses and even excuses for his trainers even after I explained how uncomfortable I was. At the end of it, I told him he must need the money more since we are just going back and forth and at that point why would I even want to come back to the gym. Do not go here. They are a unfortunately unorganized, unprepared, and Kyle is unaware of payments with clients and will refuse any refunds. He couldnā€™t even print me the receipt. My understanding of signing up for the trainings that the trainer explained was that due to my personal circumstances I would be refunded because no contract was created. (Yes they have both contract and no contract offers) Anyways, I cancelled my gym membership but want to make future clients aware that theyā€™re unaware of how their payments work, wonā€™t print receipts and wonā€™t give refunds. If you do go here make sure everything is extremely thorough on your side and show your own ā€œreceipts.ā€

    I donā€™t know where to begin. I started going to the gym last year, canceled my membership in July of 2021 was told I had to go in I explained that I couldnā€™t and that I had moved. Ashley said I could write a letter with my first and last name dated and signed and that would cancel my account. October 2021 comes Iā€™m still being charged so I drove to the gym spoke to someone was told my account was never canceled and no notes were noted that I even wrote a letter or anything. So at that moment I was told it was canceled. I got check my account Iā€™m still being charged now weā€™re in jan. of 2022. Iā€™m now getting calls from their collection Agency saying that I owe them $80 and some change. At this point were in March of 2022 and I havenā€™t physically been in the gym this gym since I would say maybe May of last year 2021. Why am I still being charged!? I would never go here again.

    I went in to cancel the account I had for my son since he hadnā€™t been in a year. They told me it would be almost 100 dollars due to the annual fee. I asked to speak to a manager and no one called me. I was charged almost 100 dollars so I called again and they said well thereā€™s nothing we can do about the charge but you can come in and for 10 dollars we can close the account. Very disappointed and really hope they close down since obviously thatā€™s where they get their money from all the excessive charges. Rip off!!! Not worth it at all!!!

    This Gym is absolutely terrible. Dirty equipment. Greasy sweaty stains everywhere. The Manager here named Kyle Oā€™ Brien Is very rude and arrogant. If youā€™re looking for a new gym to join DO NOT COME HERE!!

    Since YouFit sold this location to Fortify, the gym has gone downhill. They removed TWO of the three large ceiling fans which helped keep users cool while running or lifting. They removed several machines that I enjoyed using. The attendants disappear from the desk area for large stretches of time, and people come into the gym without even scanning their membership cards. The staff and coaches are uneducated on machine and treadmill use, and I consistently see coaches giving incorrect instruction to elderly folks that could cause them injury. Music in the gym is frequently so loud that I cannot hear my own music through my earbuds. Im giving two stars because the gym is kept clean and the equipment is in good working order, and if you dont need any help, you can still have a good workout there. But this is the bare minimum that any gym should offer.

    I've been a long time fitness member of youfit. When the owner finally decided to change the name and give the whole club a new look I felt like I died and gone to heaven. Not only did the club change names but every piece of equipment is brand new from floor to ceiling. The staff is always professional and polite and the facility is always clean. If I had one suggestion to give to the club, that would be to have more fitness apparel available for purchase. T-shirts are okay but I really like my tank tops and I would wear them more often if they were available.

    The new Fortify gym is formally known as U-fit near Loweā€™s. It has made vast improvements and a major overhaul I have gone to this gym for5 years and am very impressed with the changes. The staff and owner Dave are so helpful and nice. The plus in their makeover is their new equipment Matrix. It is so smooth and easy to use. If you are looking for a new gym this is it

    Good gym. Busy enough but not so busy you canā€™t get a good work out in. Staff is helpful. Energy and protein drinks on site if you want one. Heads upā€¦they actually close at 9pm on Friday but for some reason Google wonā€™t change it.

    I canceled my membership in person in March 2022. I noticed I was charged for April and May and my bank refunded the money; however, I have received countless harassing phone calls from Eric Riley of ABC Fitness Solutions on behalf of Fortify regarding my membership.

    Great environment I enjoy working out here. I do wish though that sadly someone would watch out for those who do not wipe down their equipment.
