YOU WILL HAVE LITTLE TO NO CONTROL OVER YOUR ROOM. DUMMY THERMOMETERS INSTALLED. TAPE UP YOUR 'SMOKE" (notice the quotation marks) DETECTORS No internet, you have to pay extra. They went up on the rates three times in a matter of weeks without notice. After being told an exterminator would be by the very next day three different times within a month finally a week later they came banging on my door at what is my 3:00 in the morning just so he could spray his sugar water. Because all it did was make the bugs worse. Don't trust their TV because they have some kind of electrical thing hanging out the back of it. The room is not made for extended stay. I'm not sure they know what that means. Don't believe the pictures they have on here. They're not correct. I have limited control over the AC / heater that only works when it wants to. There's been some kind of Milky mildew smell that I can't get rid of. Zero assistance between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. if my only other option wasn't to live in a car I wouldn't stay here. Edit: after sending pictures to experts and specialists you have zero control over your air conditioner they are what they call dummy thermometers it's all controlled from the front office you have zero control. Also tape up your smoke detectors. It says a lot about how much the owners care considering they haven't responded to not one of their reviews. Not even trying to defend their case. If my only other option wouldn't be homeless in my car, I wouldn't be here.

I stayed here for a long term of 6 months. Not by choice but because. that's what I was able to afford. It's not cheap to stay here either. They treat you like they doing you a favor by staying here. They literally barch into your room for random inspections with little to notice at all the pool it's dirty a lot of the times . People at the front desk are not friendly. And your not safe. A lady tried to unlive herself by setting her room on fire 3 doors from me. People stay fighting and I'm glad I'm in a better place now.

Our plane arrived later than scheduled. We arrived at the hotel at 9:15pm. We could see the front desk clerk. The doors were locked and a fully armed security guard told us they were closed and needed to go somewhere else. I said but the staff was right there. He said sorry my brother but you need to go somewhere else. I already paid for two rooms for two nights. He said sorry but you need to go somewhere else. From what I could see through the door into the hotel as well as the outside of the hotel it is nothing like the pics. Very dirty. And I have never been to a hotel that had a fully equipped security guard at the door. We went across the street and checked with 3 other hotels to get a room and none of them had a security guard nor did any of the other 3 hotels look like they needed a security guard! They will not refund us the money for the rooms. Very unprofessional. Expedia should be ashamed of themselves as well. This is not a hotel but a residence for govt assisted people and families with a few open rooms to rent.

I stayed one night was booked for 11 nights. Checked out after one night due to motel appearance, constant noise and gun shoots. Was told I would be refunded FULLY for the remaining nights. Instead was charged double for the first night and the remaining nights. Tried calling multiple times with NO answer, I would avoid this motel at all cost!

Beware!!!! This hotel is not safe and looks nothing like the pictures online. I pulled up to check in,the lobby was supposed to be open till 7. I pulled in at 614pm. There was a note on the door saying lobby closed at 6. Then there was a sign saying check in at window over by the vending machines. Walked in a dark covered eerie hallway, finally found the window. It said it was closed, the lobby was only half lit. I rang the bell 3 times, nobody ever came to check me in. Walked around the property to see if I could find a worker, none could be found. Saw the facilities, the pool was closed and for good reason it was green and full of algae, the grounds were not well kept. People in camp chairs sitting outside of rooms towards the back playing loud music and smoking Marijuana. I walked back towards the check in window, saw other transient looking people walking around and I believe I saw a drug deal. Decided this hotel wasn't a safe location and decided to leave. I honestly believe they're renting out rooms to transient and low income people. I've emailed the property and called them several times. I'm still trying to get my money back from a room I wasn't able to check into.

First of all I still stay here with my family. We found this to be the most affordable and cleanest choice in the area. And im quite annoyed at some of the reviews I am reading. I will agree there are a lot of things that need to be worked on by this establishment, however it's not as bad as it's being made out to be. Some of the staff are rude but the majority is very friendly. The rooms are being redone but are kept clean other then the floors needing to be mopped more but I took care of that myself. There are roaches that need to be taken care of as well but it's Florida and with it being extended stay some people bring them and thet are extremely hard to get rid of. But as far as this being a bad part of town is not true. This is actually a decent area. And the comment about the needles randomly on the ground, I highly doubt! We have our children here and we won't let that fly! And we have a grounds keeper that cleans the area all the time! There are a few questionable characters that come from time to time but they get rid of them quickly. And as far as the security guard, I love the fact that they offer that. People are known to hit hotel parking lots to hit cars and go. Not only that they sit in parking lots and follow women, so it makes me feel better knowing I have them to call if I see something that doesn't look right. Also if you get locked out of your room after hours and you have already checked in, the security is able to let you in your room! Which is another reason they are here. So as far as your rude comments towards the community that stays here and the area it is in, that is not needed because you didn't even stay here long enough or even at all to have the right to speak on that. You can complain about your room being dirty, or your treatment or even lack of proper business management, but it's very rude to talk about the people who live here for various reasons. It's real simple, don't be cheap about where you book if you expect to feel like you are at a 5 star exclusive resort! And if you do your research, good luck finding anywhere in Polk county that isn't just about the same atmosphere as here. Just cause you don't see it everytime you go somewhere, don't ever think it's not the same. It's Polk county. Enough said.

I lived here nearly a year in 2021 and had a great experience. The rooms have been newly refurbished and the staffs courtesy , professionalism , and hospitality has been the greatest. I would highly recommend this place to stay as a very affordable , convenient place even my grandma could stay. Best Regards , Steve Tippins

We stay in "cheap" places all of the time and travel all over Florida for nightly stays. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had with a nights stay. We traveled over 150mi on a motorcycle to get there only to find it CLOSED! Yes I said closed. No phone call, warning, options, nothing. Just standing in a dark parking lot next to my motorcycle with my wife in a city I have never been in before. How am I supposed to control traffic, weather and any other delays when traveling over 3 hours on the road. Closes at 9pm? Maybe at 1am it would even make just a little bit of sense. We were greeted by the security guard at 10pm saying they closed an hour ago and there was nothing we could do. This was reserved on Booking.com where we found later that it said hours in the fine print, but how they would choose to not make this abundantly clear is beyond me. Anyone showing up after 9pm is going to be furious, so why not put this in bold print on the ad? We found a nicer, safer, cleaner, well lit Travel Lodge less than a mile away for only $10 more. To add insult to injury, this place would NOT refund us anything. By the way, all of those photos must have been taken the day after it opened because it does not look like that any more. Just add trash, weeds and some random syringes and you are getting closer to how this place looked.

I called to get weekly rates, the man I spoke with was very professional and pleasant!pet friendly! Very nice location, I have no complaints on my visit!

The will pick and choose who can have a pet. I was told I couldn't have my esa service dog but yet a white lady can have hers. When I asked about why she is able to have the same esa dog I have and was told she was grandfathered in. That she was here before the new policy but ones a policy is made it should apply to everyone. The management shouldn't be able to choose who is does and doesn't apply to. I'm currently looking into filing a discrimination lawsuit. I would not recommend spending your money at this Lakeland location. They also don't mention the playground and pool listed as amenities are not useable.

We stayed there for over 2 years . All is good so far. Very quite once it gets dark out. Kids play in play ground area. Rooms aren't bad. Ac works very well. Carpet is very very dirty - upgraded rooms don't have carpet. Kitchenettes will a big help for those who stay for long periods of time. Hopefully they will be done with some of them soon. Employees are very nice and helpful.(the very few they have ) Hotel has been through many changes over the years and while it was comfortable for the time we stayed (extended stay)I am glad to be a in good place in my life. Word of advice if your going to stay bring a broom and mop, towels and bed sheets and a hot plate. Rooms are not clean but according to them they are. The less you expect from employees (if you see them) the better your stay will be. Oh yeah bring the bug spray and look at beds for bed bugs. I can say I have never seen a Hotel or extended stay that operated the way this company does. If your expectations are not set high and can easily adapt you will fine with your stay.

I stayed for 28 days while I waited for my apartment to be available. The place is older but my room was clean and comfortable. It sucked that the pool was closed but the manager, Crystal, explained that they had to wait on the pool company to resurface it and then it would be open. Too bad, it was a very nice looking pool. They are doing a lot of work on the place. I constantly saw people cleaning the grounds, painting doors, pressure washing. The staff was all very friendly. It’s extended stay so they don’t come clean your room or wash your linens but that wasn’t an issue for me. I don’t mind picking up after my self. There are a lot of negative reviews but I think they have to be exaggerated because I had no issues and I felt safe the whole time. It’s very affordable compared to all of the places nearby, and it’s in a great location.

Employees constantly walk into rooms that have guests in them no matter if you're gone, or sleeping. I highly recommend you stay away from this place unless you want your stuff stolen, or some creep in your room. Never the less would highly recommend you stay far from this place if you don't want your car to be towed.

I do not have much bad reviews for this place. been living here for 6 months now. been thru a few changes here while here. the only thing i think is they should have kept security here because it puts extra work on the workers here after hour's. the workers have no life literally except here at the hotel. The front desk lady she is amazing. I've been here thru 2 GM's and while they are not here due to being fired the front desk lady is running the place and she does an amazing job. she needs to become the GM. She runs this place amazing on her own as is. she is very understanding and works with people. she definitely doesn't get the credit she deserves. also brad which is grounds and maintenance and Brooke does housekeeping. they deserve alot more credit than they deserve. even after hours i see brad here thru the night fixing things etc. like without those 3 this place would fall quickly. they are what keeps this place running.

This is very budget friendly. A lot of families living here. It’s very conveniently located near I-4, the parkway, Starbucks, several restaurants, and shopping centers. The rooms are clean and the furnishings are new.

Brooke and Brad, I want to say have worked over and beyond to make our stay at Stayable Suite a decent place to stay if it wasn't for them we would not have made it this far. Great husband and wife team 💯 Myrian (front desk) after working day after day for months alone behind the front desk has extended a lot of help to us with a smile Thank you to the three people that have kept Stayabe Suite alive for months on their own Brad Brook Myrian

William at the front desk is very nice and accommodating. I give them 1 star because of the roaches. We stayed for 2 weeks in a 2 full bed room. The beds are not queen size. They are full beds and seems like the foundation is smaller than the bed. Families really do live here long term. I have seen children get picked up from this motel. They do have a nice community and get together on weekends. Great low prices although keep in mind they do charge a fee for new or clean lines for $7. You will receive your full $100 deposit as long as there is no smoking, damage or staining on sheets.

I been staying here for a while and overall I enjoy staying here. The staffing is very helpful and the head Manager Ms. Marim is a very nice and hardworking person and she always makes sure the tenants are taken care of and she deserves a lot credit for the great job that she does at this place. The other staff members are hard workers too and they do there best to get the job done . Me and my fiance appreciate all the help and the care with living at this place that cares for there tenants. Much thankful and bless for everything.

Cockroach infested! And the lady in the office is horrible! I tried to talk to her about it and she completely blew me off. Told me she has no number for anyone else to call. They’re so bad they’ll crawl on you while you’re in bed.

  • 1/5 Janice L. 1 year ago on Google
Not compassionate, all they care about is money!!! They charge for everything!!! You have to wash their sheets and towels. They don't supply toilet paper. They have bugs!!! And you have to clean the room yourself.

  • 1/5 Raye-lynn F. 1 year ago on Google
Prepaid for 2 weeks online and couldn't get full refund. When I saw the condition of the lobby, I knew it was not a decent/clean place Filthy rooms and they automatically charged $50 cleaning fee. A/C full of mold and black fuzz. Had to clean it myself, including the filament. Cockroach infestation; used whole container of Boric Acid powder. Took the first week to stop baby bugs from hatching. When I told front desk about cleaning A/C & fumigation; She said "I'm glad you're enjoying your room" People 'party' outside the rooms All Night, so have to leave TV on to drown out music and conversations.

I stayed here last night and would have left immediately if I didn’t have 3 kids with me and from all my calls i quickly realized all the surrounding motels were sold out that night. Staying in my car would have been safer and more sanitary than our room. I should have known when I saw the many used cans of indoor fogger in the room that it was going to be a rough night. Despite their not so discreet “attempt” to get rid of bugs our bed was crawling with varied bugs including roaches. My daughter woke up so bitten all over by bed bugs I’m glad we were out of there first thing in the morning. We had to be at our sons race that day so we didn’t get time to get to the office and complain. All my phone calls today have gone unanswered! I realistically don’t think they’re going to remedy the room for future guests…just keep fogging the room and that obviously doesn’t work.

I gave a star because the GM is nice when speaking to and the girl at front desk is nice when speaking to and one of the house keepers are nice when speaking to..but someone has to put in some work!..Beware!! First off there is no Wi-Fi!!; although my phone has service; sometimes you need a little wifiiron.. second; you can walk around the corner 3 times and your feet won't be as black as my daughter and my feet was!! Now although I mopped and wear socks!! When you drop 1500 on a suite, you expect the room to be clean. I would not refer or recommend this place to anyone! Only on a need basis!!!

  • 1/5 Dean B. 1 year ago on Google
To describe this place as a roach motel is an insult to roach motels. My room was infested with them, and a whole can of Raid did nothing to stop them. The A/C barely functions, and the buttons are purely for show as none of them work. A majority of the light switches and lamps also did not work. This place should be condemned. The girl at the front was sweet and probably deserves better than the slumlord owners of this dump.

I have been here for 2months and the staff are very nice. The weekend after the 4th of July the residents that had been there for long term held a cookout free of charge for all who were staying there. That was the nicest thing and no other motel would do that. Thank you Stayable family.

Right next to I4. They have recently remodeled their rooms, they look 100% better!! The young girl in the office was amazing to check in with!!! She has the best customer service skills!! She's definitely an asset to the place!! Beautiful pool😍🏊

Called this joint at 712p to make sure all was good. Nobody answered the phone. We arrived at 910p and nobody was at hotel and nobody would answer the phone or the doorbell. The only person we saw was a man selling crack rocks in the corner of the hotel building and other guests that are trying to check In to a place that is closed. We can not get are money back. We had no where to stay since this was during a very busy time of year. All hotels around area are full. This is a disgusting experience. I could only imagine what the room looked like if the outside was like this. Guess we will never know since the place isn’t even open. Do not stay here. Please. It’s in a bad part of town and you will be stranded with no where to go. Burn this down do the world a favor. Money scam.

  • 4/5 Ashlie G. 2 years ago on Google
My stay as far as I can tell was actually quite great for what I expected. The room was a very decent size for the price, it didn't smell at all, the playground is perfect for being able to have my son visit me for a few hours, and it's within a close distance to places I need to go. It's much more affordable than other extended stays around, and the front desk people are very kind and go out of their way to assist you when you need it. My only complaints are that there seems to be a bug problem (but not uncommon for Florida this time of year), the laundry isn't currently working, and there doesn't seem to be security around, but I haven't had any problems with noise. If you're on a budget and need somewhere comfortable to stay, this isn't a bad choice at all as long as you're willing to abide by the rules and policies regarding office hours and visitors.

This hotel doesn’t work. If you are going to stay around this area please don’t go to this hotel. Because I had a reservation for 4 nights and my flight got delayed and I arrived after 9pm. The front desk was completely closed and there was nobody to answer you. And there wasn’t any phone number to call to talk to somebody. Then I started to look for more hotels in the area, and all of them were full. So I had to stay in the car with the family for the whole night and next day when I came back to the hotel. They told me that your reservation was cancelled. Because we already rented the room for somebody else and to give your money back, you had to speak with the manager when that person wasn’t there at the moment. So, we had to send an email and wait 3-5 business days for them to respond back. That’s after when I have already paid. That was disrespectful and I will communicate with my lawyer to solve this.
