So much better than the ranking indicates. Any beer you desire, even PBRs when you feel like slumming it! Karaoke Wed night and Saturday. If you like to sing, You can sing all you like on Wednesday. Open Jam night Thursday night, next to the Patio Bar 8:00 to 11:00, Live music. This is no Dive Bar. Tonight, Wednesday, they have a a Prime Rib Special, unbelievable price!. Crazy delicious and a full cut and thick! Potatoes and veggies. Do not pass it up. I suggest Medium Rare, it looked Rare but OMG, it was so good. The absolute best food in the Tampa suburbs! The food is soooo good !!

Very nice local pub that has great food. We tried the Dubliner & it's huge ! Delicious fries. Our server Sonia was great, Michael the owner is awesome too. Thanks for a great lunch.

I was looking for a place with good food and a nice pub (as well)... I found it ! Located off of 60 in Brandon just west of Lithia Pinecrest and on the south side of the road. We went to another pub down the road and the patrons inside stated we needed to come here.. to O'Toole's. My son had the Doubling Duo sandwich, my daughter had their buffalo chicken pasta and I had their custom grilled cheese (two selections of cheese preference and then you can add on special goodness!).. oh we also had pretzel bites - BEER CHEESE equals DELICIOUS lol 😆 All the food was excellent. The sides of homemade potato chips and cheese fries were excellent. We all enjoyed our food and the portions were large enough to have leftovers. Atmosphere- we say outside on the deck. Several TV's to watch the lightning game (Go Lightning!) With fans and an outdoor bar/service area. Service was wonderful and accommodating. My only regret? - that my wife wasn't here to enjoy our outing... But we will be back. Please come out and support this wonderful place... And WHEN you have a good experience, leave your thoughts! ♥️♥️

This place was great. Great selection of beers and hard liquor. Food was amazing. Prices very reasonable. Worth finding this place. We are not fond of chains and this was such a lucky find!

Good food and a great Irish pub atmosphere. We have only visited when it is between lunch and dinner on Saturdays so to be fair we have never visited when it is busy and filled with live music etc. They do have live music etc in the evenings but if you are like us, a family who doesn't like to eat in large crowds then I suggest visiting between lunch and dinner. It is such a chill vibe, the staff is nice and the food is great!

A perfect spot for delicious comfort food. The murals on the walls are just as beautiful as the stained glass. We had the Pots of Gold - potato skins, the smash burger, and potato soup. Everything was amazing!

The food and overall experience was very good, and I will definitely be back!! The only issue I have is with their Shepherds Pie. True Shepherds pie is made with lamb (not beef). With beef, it's called "Cottage Pie'!!!

Cyndi and I stopped in for happy hour at O'Tooles on a Thursday evening. We took our place at a couple of bar stools and ordered our favorite beverages. The bartender had our drinks to us in short time. We ordered the Gaelic Chips for an appetizer and they were so good. For dinner, Cyndi ordered the Ruben sandwich, and I ordered their Haddock and chips. The fish came out hot and was super delicious! If you're looking for a spot to hang out and enjoy some good food, I would recommend O'Tooles Irish Pub.

Food here is awesome. I'm a veggie hater, yet I can't stay away from the goat cheese app with flash fried shredded Brussel sprouts with Tostini.. all the yummy in the menu.

Nice Irish pub in Brandon. Lunch and dinner menus. Several beers on tap. Popular during the day with soccer matches and during the evening with entertainment like karaoke.

Went here on a Friday night at 7pm. First the decor and atmosphere. 2 dart boards we could see, bar and stock of alcohol looks well maintained, wooden floors with wood tables, and an outdoor seating area as well. Staff including bar tender seemed to enjoy working here and interacted with the patrons. Overall I was happy with the restaraunts decor and interior. Now for the important part...the food. The menu breathes fresh air into a Irish pub. I can't tell you how many Irish pubs I have been into that is just Irish by name but the menu is blah, unoriginal and is more american than Irish. This is not the case for O'Toole's. Their menu screams of English and Irish food. My wife and I ordered the sampler, fish and chips and cottage pie. Sampler, (banger bites, chips, Gaelic egg rolls, and potato skins) came out how and fresh. The banger bites were great, and not just american sausage that the restaraunt calls bangers. If you have had bangers before you know! Egg rolls were hot, had a nice corned beef interior and tasty. The potato skins....well they were potato skins. It seemed off with how great the rest of the sampler was but they weren't bad. Being 100% nit picky I would have wanted something more unique than just potato skins which you can get anywhere. There is enough on this sampler for at least 2 people. Main course arrived and we were not disappointed. Oh you do get 3 choices of fries with ur fish and chips. The fish has crunchy and tasty and while not certain it appears it is hand battered. Either way the outside was crunchy and the inside was buttery and nice for the fish. The burnt Brussel sprouts on the lemon I assume were for garnish. I make pan fried Brussel sprouts and these were just too burnt to consume. But I am going with its an inedible garnish and didnt hold it against them. My only gripe and if you read all my reviews you will know, why don't you make your own fries?? As I said you get 3 choices of fries but they are frozen fries. Were they terrible? Not at all but I would pay an extra 50 cents plus for fresh fries. But that's just my personal preference. Wife got the cottage pie and it was wonderful. From the gravy, to the interior medly, to the garlic mash it was all great. We wanted to try their cheesecake but we were too stuffed to try it. Do yourself a favor and try this Irish Pub. It shows they care about their food and staff. My negatives are strictly nit picky things that most won't care about it but I would rather be honest on my preferences or how to take this wonderful place to an even better place.

We had to hit an Irish Pub and this place looked fun. Again, no dark rum that isn't spiced but it's rare to find in any restaurant. The chips were amazing, I loved my Rueben and my husband really enjoyed the fish. The bartenders were nice and spoke to us. We'll go back if we are ever that way again.

I stopped here on a Saturday for lunch. The bar inside looks great and very clean. I had the Reuben sandwich and it's one of the best Reubens I have ever had in my life. They have a great selection of beer on tap. Good conversation at the bar. I will be coming back a lot!

Glad we finally made it in here after it's been on our bucket list for a while. Very clean pub, great food, nice and polite servers. Good selection of beer too! Wife had the pork shanks, I had the fish sandwich, both were good with generous portions. Bonus was that it was Trivia Tuesday! Planning to go back again with friends soon!

We love this place... Chris has been our server/bartender a few times, and he's always made it a great experience. Between the perfect drinks, and the food, it's always been a dependable spot. I've even taken a few friends and family here, and my mom who loves going to Ireland regularly, was thoroughly impressed with the Guinness pour and their Shepherds Pie. When we want to go to a good pub, this is our go to spot.

I went and tried this place out for thr first time and it was awesome. Staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. Environment was calm and relaxing. Best of all I got the Reubens and was one of the best I've had. Highly recommend.

Went for a late lunch 200pm. Place was fairly empty. Sometimes I get concerned when it's quiet. Will the food be fresh? They did not disappoint. Everything was freshly made and temperature was perfect. We had a Goat Cheese appetizer which I would recommend 100%. Just right. I had their shepherd pie, my wife pork shanks. The pork shanks fell right of the bone. Tender and saucy. Shepherd's pie was on point. I was looking for filling because it was a late lunch I was a bit hungry. Definitely left full. We ordered the bread budding for dessert. We took it home had to get back to work. Absolutely yummy. I think I have found a new place to go with my #1 girl.. Last suggestion. If you like whiskey go for the RedBreast.

Kinda disappointed cause this was a recommended place to come to. The beer wasn't very cold, took a while for the food to come, no beer list at the table, the steak that came was not a Delmonico steak but rather a sirloin. I know my cuts of meat and it was waaaaaay to tough to be a Delmonico steak. I was just expecting more and it didn't live up to the hype that I heard. The bartender that was on that night was very nice so it was a disappointment on the food end for me.

The chicken sandwich was well balanced. It was fresh, juicy, crunchy from bacon, and complemented nicely with blue cheese. It was also a bonus that my dog could sit outside with us. If you’re ever in Brandon, check this place out!

Went on Labor Day. Pleasantly surprised they were open. Good experience.. I had the Carrowbeg Cottage pie and it was delicious. I have eaten there several times and the food is great. The service is generally poor. They are generally under staffed. I had a nosey bar tender eaves drop on private conversations and invite herself into a discussion and disagree with me. That is bad enough. Mind your own points and quarts, as the Irish say. But after disagreeing with me she got defensive when I challenged her to back up her statement. "I wasnt looking for an argument" she said. Well dear if you interrupt a private conversation to disagree you are in fact fishing for an argument. Put up or shut up. Better yet keep your tap shut.

Handled a party of 25 fantastically! We did call ahead to ensure they could accommodate us, and they definitely did! Service was quick. Food was exactly as ordered and Delicious!!! Fish and chips- fish was as large as the plate. Buffalo chicken sandwich huge tender and so good. Pretzel bites😋😋😋 Even the Delmonico steak was good! All 25 of us were very happy with the meals. Definitely recommend!!!

We went here for a private event and eventually moved inside. It was surprisingly quiet for a weekend, but maybe we were just early. The food was great, they did forget to bring out my child's meal but they quickly fixed the mistake. I would recommend this place if you are looking for some good Irish pub food!! Banger and mash and Shepherds pie was on point!!

The item I ordered was incorrect. I ordered a club sandwich with fries. What I received was loaded fries (pic 2) Server had to come back and verify items ordered by other members in our party. Would have helped if orders were perhaps written down and not remembered. When my meal did arrive everyone at the table was completely down with their dinner. (Pic 1) I chose to take my food to go at this point. The meal was compensated. To top it off the other 2 tickets at out table were charged to the wrong credit cards.....haha. The thing that really bothers me is that out server was providing the majority of their time to the patrons at the bar. And the dining room only had 3 tables with people at them. This is the second time dining here and is the second time with not the greatest experience. This was also my last time. This is a shame because it is a staple of Brandon and many of my friends enjoy it.

I enjoyed my time here. We were celebrating my brother and sister-in-law's 7th Wedding Anniversary. The food was good. The drinks were excellent. I enjoyed the Karaoke as well. It was the highlight of my weekend ✨️.

Review Love coming to O'Toole's, been coming here for years. Their food is top notch and Sonya takes amazing care of you during the day! Be careful, you come once or twice and she will know what your drink is the moment you walk in, it's her super power! It's family and pet friendly too. My daughter loves playing with the jumbo connect 4 game and seeing all of the puppies other patrons bring. The late nights are great for the party vibe but the days are family friendly with great food and great cocktails. Be sure and check out their weekend specials, they're always cooking up something amazing!

Best plate in Florida ! Look at the colors of this plate !!! Extremely well cooked great tasting and a remarkable presentation….the bad reviews are some people that are just trying to get stuff for free obviously they do not know what they are talking about. Actually couple people that have left a bad complaint on this restaurant have left negative comments on 75 % of there reviews . So what does that tell you ??? Smh , go here it’s a killer place with great food! Sit outside or inside , you won’t disagree with me go!!!!
