ARRIVED: 6:30 21 and up? Really? Unfortunately I have to leave this review for education purposes. I would normally leave more stars, however there wasn't anything that I missed (& we had done our research before coming). We checked online, called and even looked for markings outside after being kicked out A few days ago we looked up their website and examined menus and times etc. Today we drove from Fishhawk up to have dinner at the Fox and Hounds. My son and daughter were excited to try a new place. The kids 18 & 14 yrs old sat in a booth and I went up to the bar (designed with a low ceiling in English style)... to ask if there's a waitress etc.. The parking lot was full but I did not see many people inside but there is an outside area as well. I was hopeful still.... UNTIL we, AFTER placing our order, were asked to leave. First, if you cannot tell that my kids are not 21 when we first walk in, you really shouldn't be serving anyone without more training 😂😆😂. - So... If you don't want dinner with your family but DO want to be embarrassed and asked to leave AND want to be confused as to why you are NOT welcome... Come here. I won't be back, a patron there was kind enough to recommend the place down the street. There, we WERE welcome and it was great food. (I left a review there with pictures) Back on track, WHY would I return to a place when there was no posting of who is NOT welcome. I want to go where we are welcome .

I was so excited to come here as we just moved to the area and I thought this would be a cool spot. The bar itself had a lot of beer choices which was great. We ordered beers at the bar and the bartender, a thin blondish/light brown haired woman (didn’t catch her name) asked for id which we (my husband and I) gave to her. one of our party was not standing next to us so we decided he can order his own beer since we didn’t have his id on us (obviously). The bartender then followed us to the table where our friend had not even ordered a beer and demanded to see his id, it turns out he forgot it. That’s fine then he just won’t drink right? NO, this lady was not satisfied, she said we needed to leave and when my husband stated if we have to leave then she should refund us, she said we don’t have to leave but our friend does (why?), and then she said we won’t get a refund because we started drinking the beer, and we should have read the sign when we arrived… first of all I never saw any sign, second of all we didn’t realize our friend forgot his id, third of all I never in my life have been to a bar that the bartender has the authority to say you can’t even sit at the table (shouldn’t they have a bouncer or someone to check id at the door then if you aren’t welcome to even sit at a table?) anyway I understand bars have rules and for good reason but the bartender was just so extremely rude.. never in my life have I met a bartender so rude. If you guys don’t want anyone to sit inside your establishment without id then hire someone to check id at the door, don’t tell your bartenders to harass people and treat them like unwanted garbage. As we were leaving the bartender said we are not welcome back, why would we ever want to come back? I wish I got the lady’s name but I was just so annoyed I didn’t even think about it. Please don’t come here, I’m so embarrassed that I suggested this place to my family and friends.

I was asked to leave because Scott Bayer does not work for free and I didnt tip on my tab that he closed despite asking him to keep it open. I could elaborate on the situation but I'll leave this review simple. The place was great until service was denied simply because "tips pay my bills" (what Scott said when I ordered another drink) As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, I know the way Scott handled the situation would not be acceptable at any restaurant or bar.

Fox and Hounds is a cozy, laid back bar with great drink prices and delicious food. Huge selection of beer and cider too. There’s plenty of indoor and covered outdoor seating and fun games to play inside. All of the staff is attentive and friendly…but Rachel is the best bartender to ever live. Amazing service no matter what. We always have a good time when we come here :)

Great English pub that has been in Brandon a long time. Good place to gather with friends. Live music in the evenings. Traditional English breakfast served on Sunday. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

Jeff did amazing job with my vodka Soda. Definitely cheered me up.

Great wings ... especially the explosion flavor. Decent beer selection. And nice low-key place to throw a few darts. The bathroom layout is a little peculiar.

We enjoyed the Lightning game at their Hockey Bar( only open for Lightning games). Bartender was great. Stools were comfortable and the TVs were everywhere. Did not eat but the food that passed us looked great. We'll be back

My go-to place to end the night. The bartenders are awesome (shout out to Scotty & Rachel). Great drinks. Touch Tunes. Age group mostly 21-40.Corkboard darts (my absolutely fav). It's a small, intimate, hole in the wall. Love it. I come here wayyy too much haha

Strong drinks, hot hot sauce, big chicken tenders. Did I die and go to bar heaven? Recommended drink spot. Second visit= just as good. Had a great time and the atmosphere was welcoming. Broke my diet, but food was delicious. Update, my monthly cheat date is here an worth it every time!

My favorite sports bar to watch the Tampa Lightning hockey games. There is a separate bar specifically designated for the games, and it's always an amazing experience. The staff is always quick, friendly, and efficient

Wife and I had a great time at Fox & Hounds. Service was great, the staff was on point for a busy Saturday night with the lightning game on. Beer and food was delicious for your typical pub fare. Would definitely go back.

The place is very nice. Though we came late the bar man gave us finger food still. We got wings, beer, and I think mozzarella sticks if I'm not mistaken. The man was so sweet, he always filled my sprite when it was low. Very attentive. I wish I knew his name so I could give him more recognition. My boyfriend loved this place and thinks about it often. Hopefully we can return soon. Very nice clean establishment. Edit: We returned! Still had a fun time but was a bit crowded and server seemed tired but still good. Really liked the mozzy sticks. Pizza popper(s) was just one small one cut in half. Should not be more than 3 bucks in my opinion.

Chill little pub with really good pub food been around for as long as I can remember and longer then I could legally drink there and I'm 47 so they must be doing something right 😁🙏

The customer service here is absolutely outstanding ! Every 10-15 mins someone comes and ask of you need anything. Thry also seem fully staffed! The food looked great and the prices were fairly decent! I was pleasantly surprised!

Been going here for 25 years. Management and staff changes of course through the years. It's a great place for a beer. I got a bad bartender... but she will move on I'm sure.

I love this place. Such a warm inviting atmosphere. Havent had the pleasure to eat here but have been many times for drinks, through the years. I highly recommend stopping in.

Kinda welcoming. Expect punk music 😃 Limited menu, but it was good. It was a Wednesday so .. I'll be back to check the weekend out. They have Kilkenny!!

This is a restaurant and BAR. After certain times those under 21 will be asked to leave. That being said. They food here is great. The guy burger is perhaps my favorite one in Brandon. The staff is extremely helpful and efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone for food and hanging out with friends.

We walked into the bar, practically no one was there and after ordering our food, the bar filled up and we were forgotten. We even moved closer so we were more obvious to to waitress, but to no avail. Besides the wafering septic odor probably from the urine on the bathroom floors this is the worst of the worst. Take your mask if you don't believe me.

We stumbled across this place one evening trying something new. I must say it didn’t look quite inviting from the outside appearance but we went on in anyway and so glad we did! It’s definitely a locals bar w/ tons of familiar regulars but it’s a great time. Everyone feels welcomed. They have a jukebox and usually the music is really good & diverse! They’re known for their hot wings, they’re just ok to me but all the workers are nice. They work hard providing great service especially Rachel, the bartender! She remembered me on my 2nd visit & even what I ordered! She has great service w/ a smile! She rocks! I have been back several times & always leave with a smile. Almost like a Cheers bar just a younger version. They usually have drink specials as well.

Great hometown local bar appeal. Definitely worth the visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The bar service and attention were well worth a visit
