I met a friend under the bridge here after watching the Christmas boat parade in sarasota. There is a large area which includes plenty of room to bring chairs and watch the bands and also a play area for kids. There are only a few seats available on the pier. There is a tackle shop that has a few beer and wine options and limited food items. Parking spots are available on site.

Must stop here. Much to do and see. Sits on the Southeast side of Sarasota Florida. Many birds and fish along with grand playground right there with shade. Live or frozen bait-drinks-food! Lots of boat traffic along with people fishing. Looks over Sarasota’s skyline. Birds that soar like eagles and Osprey along with many pelicans/ egret. It is a family - friends - kids place to Good morning Sarasota Florida at sunrise 8am walk over bridge.

Great lil bait shop but the fishing was fun. The bait shop has live shrimp and other light tackle. The have some ac and cold drinks. The ac and cold drinks are a welcomed sight after a full day of fishing. Nice place to relax with the captain and mate are cleaning the fish from the days catch. Thank you for having a welcoming and friendly staff. The lady was new but fantastic!

This place is lovely and there is a little bit for everyone. Get here early as there are about 21 car spots and two handicapped parking spots. There is a sunny pier and covered fishing spots available. Nice breeze under the bridge. A half block away is a shop for restrooms, fish bait, plain subs, ice cream, chips, pop, and water. There is a covered gazebo for moms to sit, and a park for the youngins not interested in fishing. Great family place.

A Great Bait Shop, wonderful place to chill, and an AMAZING music venue! LOCALLY OWNED, LOCALLY RUN! We had a spectacular evening last Saturday enjoying a great band while the sun set into the Gulf, with the city lights twinkling over the water, pelicans fishing off the dock, kayaks paddling by and fishing boats coming in for the night. Wrap around water views complete the great vibe of wonderful music, the park under the Ringling provides plenty of space for us spectators, everyone was having fun, some dancing, some performing hula hoops, some fishing, kayaking, enjoying a picnic or just listening. Ship of Fools took over the evening with incredible sets! We never felt crowded ! Getting in and out of the small parking area is a bit slow, so we parked at the Bayfront park area ( no time limit on parking after 8 PM) and took an easy stroll over to Hart’s Landing. There is no cover charge for the great outdoor music on Saturday nights. The owner and his daughter started managing these concerts as a labor of love. They are proud to be part of our local community, which explains the great authentic vibe of the shop. I looked up the history of this bait shop, which goes back in time to a local fisherman - a great read! A free will donation helps to defray expenses, as well as purchases of beverages and food from the bait shop. They also rent kayaks and this looks like a wonderful location to put in and paddle the Sarasota city shores! Indoor rest rooms are available. I love stopping here when I am riding my bike or walking the Ringling bridge. The park is charming with great, safe play equipment and places to sit.

This was my first time at Hart's. Beautiful location, right on the water and next to a nice children's park. The girl at the counter was very friendly, asked if it was my first time visiting and welcomed me - that's great service that will bring me back!

I went there a couple Saturdays ago with my soon to be girlfriend, for music. It is really cool how it is tucked underneath the bridge going to Saint Armands Circle. They have a convenience store there with a lot of history. We took our chairs and sat on the grass listening to the music, along with a lot of other people. When they have music get there early for a parking spot. It is definitely a popular place to go. You can also fish there. Definitely worth checking out!

I had New England clam chowder and a Ceasar salad. Both were excellent. My server was great. There was lots of outside seating but it was too hot for me. I chose to eat indoors. It's a very comfortable spot.

Hard to find, but very nice/courteous staff. The bait, however, was disappointing... I bought 5 dozen "regular" shrimp. (The other choice was jumbo). I fish a lot. Typically, my experience has been, "regular", is a bit of a mixed bag. Most of them are of average size, though. These were infinitesimal. They were practically plankton. I don't know what "jumbo" would have been, but based on the size of regular, I should have ordered that. I suspect most would have been of average size. Sadly, I won't be back... I say sadly because the staff was so kind. I would have liked to have cultivated a long term customer relationship. The pricing just isn't worth it, though. Sorry... 😔

Nice place for the family or couples to enjoy fishing, playing or enjoying their live concerts. Not enough parking for the concerts. Get there way early. Would be nice if they changed the locks on the bathrooms that display occupied or open as every time I'm in there people shake the handle or knock over and over even though I shout out " I'll be out in a few"

I have never been treated so badly in my whole life. I was told that I could not sit there with a Coke and enjoy the day I had to move along. They told me that unless I was getting bait or ordering something that I could not sit there. And I was double-charged on my credit card for my coke and my candy bar. you better bring cash when you come.

Dan is the best!! We met a beautiful Heron, saw huge snook because it's also a fish sanctuary, and was able to see people cutting up fish from a fishing expedition. It's a family friendly location, fishing, play area, benches, and a walk way to over look the water. Call for special events, live music, proposals, family fun, and more! You won't regret meeting Dan!!

A great little find under the Ringling bridge. Family owned by very nice people. Good coffee, snacks and bait are sold along with Hart’s Landing branded items and canned adult beverages. Live music outside on Saturdays during most months except January. Go under the bridge and don’t miss this little gem.

This a great little place here by the Ringling Bridge, especially if you're fishing from the pier and need some quick tackle you may have forgotten to bring, including ice. They have plenty of snacks too, from chips, candy, to a great selection of ice cream to eat on those hot Florida summer days. Along with a good selection of tackle and snacks, in the dock is a fish cleaning station you can use to clean your fish after a catch. If you want to book charters, I believe, they can also assist you. The people who work here are friendly and welcoming, its a quaint little place in the perfect location here in Sarasota.

So much fun to observe the birds waiting for some snacks dropped from the bait shop. The tiny little park is absolutely relaxing and picturesque.
