Four of us rented tandem kayaks at the Jupiter Outdoor Center a few days ago. It is by far the most beautiful place we’ve kayaked. Lots of wildlife including alligators, turtles and birds. On our journey we met a man from Miami who frequently drives up to kayak there because of the beauty. The staff is very friendly. We’ll definitely be returning!

I did a tandem kayaking 4 hour ride a few weeks ago with a friend of mine that lives in Jupiter. I loved it so much I am making my husband and sister in law do it with us again this weekend! The river is beautiful and the customer service was even better!! I was a newbie and the staff made me feel welcome and instructed me on what to do. Amazing experience! Cant wait to do it again this weekend!!

Lovely morning out on the Loxahatchee River guided by Rich. He really knew his stuff and pointed things out along the way. We could’ve gone out kayaking ourselves but are very happy we took the tour (we wouldn’t have noticed nearly as much wildlife and got some good info). Without Rich we definitely wouldn’t have come across a group of 3 manatees which was a major highlight for our entire US trip!

This park is amazing. What a great place to kayak and enjoy Florida's nature and scenery. We drop in at the public drop-in, but family and friends use their rentals. The staff are awesome and very friendly here. We will always bring our friends here to enjoy a great day on the water.

One of the best outdoor experiences I have ever had!!! From the beginning to the end of our kayak tour of the Loxahatchee River. I was most impressed with Candace and her extensive knowledge of the river and history of the area. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family of 4 booked a guided kayaking tour on 11/11/23. From the moment we met our guide, Richard, we knew it would be a great time. Our tour was in the morning and the Loxahatchee was quiet and calm. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information on the history of the area, different plant/tree species, invasive specifies, turtles, gators, and more. We have no doubt that if we did the tour with Richard again he would have even more information to share. It exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful experience on our guided kayak tour! Richard was our tour guide and it was clear how knowledgeable he was on the area and marine life! We even got to see a manatee!

Very nice place to spend the day with your family and friends! The place is great location for walking, biking, kayaking or hiking! So much to see and experience. Alligators and many wild animals, birds and fish! There is a renting center, you can rent bikes, kayaks and canoes.

Went on the wild and scenic kayak tour with Richard as our guide...the best guide in all of the universe. He has so much great information to share about the history of the area as well as great information about the wildlife and river ecosystem. He made us feel at home on the river while also making sure we stayed safe. The river was great too! Beautiful and not too challenging for novices on the kayaks.

Super beautiful kayak down the river, just be sure you are prepared to paddle hard to make it back! Enjoyed the two dams which were great for stopping and swimming. They even have a little food truck making acai bowls outside the center.

My husband and I had a fabulous time on our guided tour of the Loxahatchee River with our guide Richard. He was knowledgeable about flora and fauna and was able to direct us around and through obstacles with ease. He never made us feel bad about our skill level or pace and made the trip fun.

Just left an amazing kayaking tour. The scenery was extremely beautiful. My family’s guide, Richard, was an excellent guide who very knowledgeable about both the area and the wildlife in it. This was my first time kayaking and I couldn't ask for a better experience. If you are in the palm beach area, please make time for this experience.

Excellent kayaking on the Loxahatchee! My daughter & I had individual kayaks (with seats) for a half day and we had a wonderful time. The first half of the journey was nice and leisurely and with the current. We saw beautiful surroundings - tons of big turtles and a large gator sunning on an island. The return trip was more demanding but for us, it was a great workout. the staff here is the best! Happy & fun loving.

Richard was an amazing teacher. He watched me going towards an alligator , for I was inept at the beginning …He then immediately rescued me with poise and calm. He explains to us all about the nature, names , the behavior of plants and animals. Richard impressed us. We could perceive not only intelligence, emotional intelligence and great knowledge. We loved him. The Hank you for this memorable journey.

We had an awesome kayaking trip down the Loxahatchee this morning with Richard! You’ve got to do it! The park is great too for biking or just walking on the trails when it’s really hot. So shady there on the trails,, but the river is beautiful, and Richard is a great guide, keeping us aware of all the tree roots and current path along the way! 👍

We had an awesome kayaking experience at Jupiter Outdoor Center! We were able to walk-in and be on the water within minutes. We saw 5 alligators, several turtles and birds, and evening a flying fish and a raccoon. Sadly, we did not get to see manatees. The river & flora itself are very scenic. I hope to go back and bring people visiting Florida!

Wanted a memorable kayaking experience while visiting friends here in the Jupiter Farms area and I wasn't disappointed. The warm and friendly professional outdoor center staff (Danie) provided a detailed overview of how to navigate through the Loxahatchee River. JOC equipment is top of the line and helped make the adventure fun and safe. All day paddling adventure to Trapper Nelson site and back with wildlife everywhere including gators and turtles. The ultimate outdoor experience to reconnect with nature!

We visited Jupiter Outdoor Center yesterday & had an incredible time. We are so pleased with the day we had. We were the first reservation to arrive for the day. The staff was very kind and informative as we have never kayaked on the Loxahatchee River before. We geared up with life jackets & headed down to the water. The staff also assisted us get our paddles and situated in the water. The kayaking was just exceptional. Highly recommend this activity for all locals & visitors! Our son’s favorite part was kayaking down the little falls the river had to offer. Cannot wait to come back!

This place is gorgeous but be prepared to kayak feet away from alligators. I was NOT prepared and had to kayak past a ~10 foot male alligator. I was flipping terrified. No one warned me. The alligator didn’t move and would probably not antagonize you but still scary nonetheless. If you like that sense of adventure this is the place to go but if large alligators terrify you, it’s not the place for you. I saw one 10 foot gator another 4-5 foot gator, 2 baby gators about a foot long, 1 river otter, tons of turtles and fish.

River Bend is such an amazing place to go canoeing or kayaking. I've been going here for 20 years and it never gets old. The river is 95%shaded the entire trip. There are places to get out and explore or even stop and go for a swim. When you are on the river, you don't even realize that you are near a city. It's a true hidden gem in Palm Beach County. I highly recommend everybody experience it at least once in their lifetime. The staff at JOC are awesome and make sure you know exactly where to go.

Awesome place! Awesome staff! Great value for your money. We rented a canoe and 2 Kayaks. It’s a great spot right in the park. You go down a small path to get to the boats. They have staff to help you every step of the way!!

Amazing experience! The workers were friendly and helped us rent a kayak within minutes (while every other place in the area requires 24-48 hour advance notice). Definitely got our money's worth and would highly recommend
