RUN HEEERRRREEE! Casareccio 2.0! For those of you that knew and loved Casarecccio and cried when it closed due to crazy rents, you'll be thrilled to know they're back! Food is just as fresh and delicious as it always was. Same staff, same chef except now you order it at a counter instead of at a table. This is the best Italian I have had outside of Italy, and second to that...New Jersey. Don't hate. It's inside the new food hall in Pompano "The Bites Eatery". 5 stars pizza. Handcrafted and from the scratch. Ask for the pesto to dip your pizza. They have Italian soda Chinotto. Very nice service. The espresso coffee was also 5 stars. Congrats guys. Congratulazioni.

If you ever ate at Casareccio on Federal Hwy by McNabb, I know you must lament it’s closing. Here’s the great news: Lovely Emilia and Sal have re-opened as Mama Mia Pasta and More at 2715 East Atlantic Blvd in Pompano. Mama Mia is in Bite Eatery, an upscale food hall, but has the same amazing food as before, plus pizza! We just ate there, and I had my all-time favorite: Chicken Ensalda. It is soooooo good! And Sal makes his own burrata cheese for the dish. Yum! If you miss Casareccio or you’ve never tried Sal’s food, make your way to Mama Mia ASAP!!

The women who took my order was very helpful and the chief in the back came to table to make sure I was enjoying the food. The pasta was fresh and served with a side of bread, the cappuccino was great, I would recommend. It was also cool to be in a place with multiple options so the person I was with was able to choice a different option if they wanted.

OUTSTANDING! I was skeptical when we walked up thinking we would get some food court quality pizza or Italian. But HOLY SMOKES! Fresh pasta and pizza! And the bread!! All unbelievably good! And the staff was super friendly.

I have had the pleasure of eating Neapolitan pizza at “Mama Mia! Pasta and More” at the Bite Eatery in Pompano on 3 separate occasions and have been wonderfully satisfied each time. For the uninitiated, Neapolitan pizza is unlike any other pizza—very thin crust, moist in the center, charred on the bottom with a pillowy, chewy crust around the edge—meant to be eaten with a knife and fork. Chef Sal is from Palermo, Italy, and is formerly the Head Chef of Casareccia Trattoria Italiana. He makes this delicious authentic pizza true to the regulations proposed by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. An amazing chef who is also very friendly. Once I make my way through the pizzas, I will try the pasta! I highly recommend this place. — at The Bite Eatery.

Caring and attentive customer service. Same love goes into their food. This is your place for authentic Italian food cooked from fresh ingredients and handmade from scratch. Was not prepared for the prices though. Be ready to spend more and get smaller portions. It’s the way of the world now. Can custom order pizza (I ordered mine with onions and olives) and seriously some of the best pizza ever. My kids loved their food except my son wasn’t ready that the pasta is served Al dente but he loved it after he got used to it. The owner is AMAZING. She came to our table several times to make sure we were enjoying everything and even gave us free desserts. She took the time to explain their philosophy of using the freshest ingredients including fresh mozzarella that they shred themselves. Also the place is inside a food hall. Wasn’t prepared for that either but owner explained that on Thursday/Friday/Saturday evenings, the food hall is hopping. We went on a Sunday evening and there weren’t many people there.

Insane food, one of the best Italian spots in Broward, delivery is good but going in person is way better. Pizza and Pastas both incredible. You won't be sorry

Tried for the first time the other day and loved it so much we came back!! Amelia greeted us both times with such a pleasant smile and attitude. She was so kind and generous. We will definitely incorporate this place into our weekly food plans!!

Was looking for local pizza and found this place. Great pizza and ran by the nicest mom and pop couple. They have a pretty extensive menu and used to have a restaurant on federal. Looking forward to coming back again. Nicest lady
